  1. Part 1: Solo performance- Pokémon display moves and characteristics in order to impress judges, those that receive the most points win and progress.
  2. Points:
  3. • Visual/Attribute: 40%
  4. o Based on a system including coolness, beauty, cuteness, intelligence, and toughness. These attributes are improved by soft-rp activities and through the use of items, with a value falling between 1 and 100. Can also be affected by accessories and seals, obtained in a similar manner as the attributes, that boost the score. A score over 100 is just said to be 100. For it to work, the points must be in the same category, meaning that a beautiful attribute would not be helped by a toughness attribute towards the 100 point goal. In cases where more than one attribute is possessed (this would happen due to the wide range of activities that can affect the attributes), the player must select the attribute to use. Additionally, any attribute that significantly competes with the chosen attribute would have a negative effect on the score of the chosen attribute; with an attribute at 50% of the chosen attribute deducting 5 points in the contest; with an additional 5 point cost every 10% more.
  5. • Descriptive & Move Usage: 60%
  6. o Player would command Pokémon to perform a sort of routine displaying its particular characteristics in line with the actively used attribute. Based almost entirely on the creative and descriptive ability of the player, with the judge (a GM) giving the player a score out of 150. A rubric could be designed to make this easier. A system could be implemented involving obedience and practice of routines, but balancing in that department could just be the responsibility of the player.
  7. • Total out of 250.
  8.
  9. Part 2: Competitive performance- Pokémon display moves and abilities in a competitive environment against those of other PCs or NPCs.
  10. Points:
  11. • Visual/Attribute: 20%
  12. o Same as in event one. Most likely the same numbers would be used, unless some form of advancement or change was made in the interspacing time.
  13. • Descriptive & Move Usage: 80%
  14. o Similar to that in the first event, except in this case occurring in a turn-by-turn battle lasting for a given number of turns. In this battle the objective would be to display the characteristics of the Pokemon to the judges, with damage calculation and knockouts being ignored (unless someone uses hyper-beam or something, in which case they would probably be arrested). The actions-per-post of the players may need to be limited, either by a given number of moves being allowed or a given word-count limit to the post. The scoring would be done the same way as in the first event, but with each player receiving a score out of 200 from the judges. The score of one player would not by necessity affect the other, but it is likely that one would ‘show-up’ the other in the battling display.
  15. • Total out of 250.
