Dual Clubs v1.2 Dark souls 2 Any% route

Fastest any% route for DS2 at the moment as far as we know? Thought up mostly by Noobest and myself (Fhyber34).

For stats, eventually you want 20 END, 20 ish ADP, 40-50 STR and a bunch of VGR
Kill crystal lizards you see that drop chunks


- Pick knight class, life ring starting gift
- Grab lightning resin next to hippo in tutorial area
- Run to majula, pick up shard in well, light the bonfire
- Head towards dragon rider (grab effigy on the way if you want)
- Maybe grab green blossoms before dragon rider (useful on some bosses)
- Kill Dragon Rider with fall off strats
- Talk to cleric lady a billion times, warp to majula,

- Go towards cardinal tower bonfire, grab the effigy in chest and the homeward bone in river
- Get the shard above cardinal tower bonfire, and the divine blessing on the branch
- Buy 6-ish firebombs? 2 clubs, pharros stone and blacksmith key
- Use firebomb to unlock shortcut
- Beat up Last Giant with club and resin

- Take elevator back up, pop soul on elevator
- Parry, ballista and lob a firebomb to kill Persuer

- Take the eagle ride, take bonfire, warp to Majula
- Upgrade 1 club to +3 and upgrade Broadsword to +3
- Level up to 30 STR, leave 4k souls AFTER weapon upgrades (for shield and unlocking path), give estus shards,
- Buy greatshield from armor merchant
- Head towards huntsman's copse
- Put your rings on, you fool if you haven't by now, good time is after pulling that first lever in the Hunstman's Copse
- Kill the skeleton lords with 2 handed clubs and shield when you need to block skellies

- Talk to ore lady a bunch in harvest valley
- Grab the estus shard in the goo if you want, bit slow
- Beat up covetous demon with 2 hand broadsword

- You can skip burning the windmill, it's just risky, just heal once during the fight and with proper RNG it works
- Stunlock medusa with dual clubs

- Go towards iron keep, smash souls on elevator after boss
- Level up if you're scared of losing your souls, if you do get 40 STR, 20 ADP rest into Vigor
- Grab the 2 large titanite shards in the central room normally full of fire in iron keep (that you turn a valve to turn off the fire)
- Kill old iron king with 2 hand club
- Grab the sublime bone dust in the chest, take primal bonfire back to majula

- Buy 10 large titanite shards, 6 titanite shards from ore lady, upgrade clubs
- Burn sublime bone dust, smash iron king soul
- Level up, buy cat ring and 4 bones from the cat
- Buy a lot of ooze, 10 ish from the ladder guy
- LOOKS LIKE IT'S TIME TO OOZE UP (use the ooze whenever you can for bosses)
- Head down to rotten
- In the spot between gutter and black gulch grab the branch of yore
- Use divine blessing if you need to de poison before boss
- Kill rotten, not sure if 2 hand or dual clubs

- Warp to lost bastille
- Stunlock the sentinels with dual clubs
- Head towards Lost Sinner, grab the dust before him if you want
- Kill Lost Sinner with club + shield if you want to be safe, or dual club/two hand if you're a beast
- Take the primal bonfire

- Level up, head towards forked road bonfire in shaded wood and light it
- Grab the estus shard on the way if you want
- Go kill scorption lady with dual clubs (try to stagger her), use firebomb as first hit to start fight

- Grab the shard before Prowling Magus if you want
- Kill prowling magus with dual clubs

- Kill Freja with dual clubs, kill a few of the spiders as you walk in to make fight faster
- Bone back

- Warp to forked road, head towards drangleic castle
- Kill lizard on way to Drangleic
- Take the bonfire near the king's gate
- Do all the drangleic castle stuff, bone back at that one spot instead of running back
- Kill Dragon Riders with dual clubs (the archer dies REALLY fast)

- Warp back, level, upgrade clubs
- Kill Mirror Knight with 2 hand club or dual clubs, or shield if you're a scaredy cat

- Don't die in shrine of Amani, make use of the NPC to take aggro in that one spot, roll through everything else killing a few of them (watch the noobest WR for exact route here)
- Kill Demon of Song with two handed club I think

- Kill Garl Vinland with two hand I think, not sure
- Take ring, bone back, warp to majula

- Do the rest of the game as fast as possible
- Don't get the aged feather, that's slow, just dark sign if you need to warp back to a bonfire
- You don't need any more souls here so just go fast

- Kill Guardian Dragon with dual clubs or 2 hand

- Warp to cardinal tower, buy effigies/healing items if you need any (want them for final 2 bosses)
- Kill Giant Lord with 2 hand club

- Summon scottish guy for throne dudes I think, good for him to draw aggro, kill these guys however you feel you can
- I think you should then use black seperation crystal before nasshandra spawns as to not give her more HP, do it just as you kill throne guys assuming he's not already dead of course

- Kill Nashandra with dual clubs I think
