Xi Feng - Girls Night Out! (And in)

[06:20] <Feldion> After sharing more of the Empress's tea amongst themselves, Xi Feng finds herself walking along with Chiyoko and the Princess as the group breaks up. "You're both visitors to the village, right?"
[06:24] <Deedles> "I guess, I do live here now while I'm training, but once I'm strong enough I do want to return to Jiangan and ensure that it stays safe." Chiyoko replied with a determined smile. Rei nodded "I'm just here until the others head out into the rest of Mei Lifa again, when that happens I'll be heading for Jinlong, and do some good."
[06:26] <Feldion> "You're planning to join the White Peony?"
[06:28] <Deedles> "Yeah." Reisuki grinned faintly as she folded her arms, wincing slightly as it pulled at her wound "It sounds like they need the extra hand, and while I would like to go with Shen, Jian and Yoshi I know how strong they are, so I'll do far more good going to Jinlong."
[06:35] <Feldion> Xi nods. "Where are you staying in the village till then?"
[06:37] <Deedles> "At the Water Temple, I'm training there under the guidance of Master Ziulong while I'm here." Reisuki replied "I got a small place close to the Fire Temple!" Chiyoko announced with a smile
[06:39] <Feldion> "How do I find somewhere to stay?" Xi asks, aware that she is now homeless.
[06:41] <Deedles> "If you wish to be close to the Empress I imagine that you'd want to speak to Rending Thunder." Reisuki told her with a thoughtful look "... Rending Thunder, or Sanru as that's his name, is the pleasant man who was drinking tea with us earlier." she explained
[06:45] <Feldion> "Pleasant? I don't think so." Xi responds with a scoff. "Isn't there anyone else I can speak to?"
[06:48] <Deedles> "Hmm, the second house at the estate, the one in the back yard, Shen's older brother, Satzu, lives there with his wife. You could always ask if you could stay with them." Rei suggested. Chiyoko smiled "Satzu is a strickler for rules, but he's nice."
[06:50] <Feldion> "What about his wife?" Xi asks.
[06:53] <Deedles> "Bourbon?" Chiyoko's smile widened "She's awesome! A courtier, like you... Well, not exactly like you, but, yeah." she grinned
[06:55] <Feldion> "I wonder what she could teach me..." Xi thinks aloud.
[06:57] <Deedles> "Best way to find out is to ask her, right?" Reisuki said as she nudges Xi gently
[06:59] <Feldion> Xi nudges her back with a smile. "I can ask for the Emperor's hand in marriage. I can ask for anything."
[07:02] <Deedles> "You mean Empress' hand in marriage." Reisuki reminded her with a cat like smile, Chiyoko covering her mouth as she laughed softly.
[07:17] <Feldion> Xi goes red in the cheek. "I know that now!"
[07:20] <Deedles> Rei tilted her head to the side "Cute." she commented. Chiyoko's laugh died down as she smiled slightly at Xi. "That must of been quite a shock."
[07:30] <Feldion> "Finding out that the Emperor was really a blind girl and that what I had been trained for ever since I was born had been for a goal that I could never fulfill? Yes, that was surprising." Xi giggles, spinning around once.
[07:39] <Deedles> "Would a girl marrying a girl really be that bad?" Chiyoko asked with a pondering look.
[07:43] <Feldion> Xi shrugs. "I've been raised since I was born to marry one /man/," she replies. "I've never thought about that."
[07:47] <Deedles> Chiyoko nodded slowly "I see. That makes sense." she said, though she still looked thoughtful
[07:48] <Feldion> "I guess I'll need to start thinking about marriage." Xi stops and looks up into the wide sky.
[07:48] <Feldion> stops walking*
[07:52] <Deedles> "Ohh?" Reisuki and Chiyoko looked at her curiously.
[07:53] <Feldion> Xi giggles, still looking up into the sky. "For the first time in my life," she says barely able to contain her laughter, "I'm single!"
[07:55] <Feldion> Xi pumps her fists into the air in celebration.
[07:56] <Deedles> Reisuki and Chiyoko stare at her for a moment before Rei glanced at the fire user before moving over to Xi, draping an arm over her shoulders "Well, it sounds to me like you could use a celebration drink then!" she stated with a grin, Chiyoko nodding in agreement. "Yeah, a fun evening!"
[07:58] <Feldion> "There's a sake house in this village?" Xi asks with a wide grin on her face.
[08:02] <Deedles> "There is, it's ran by the Fire Mentor, Leewan!" Chiyoko stated with a grin as she walked alongside Xi on the opposite side to Rei.
[08:15] <Feldion> "Do you go there often?" Xi asks.
[08:16] <Deedles> "Yeah, it's a nice place, good for meeting new people too." Chiyoko replied, her grin softening into a smile "And... it reminds me of home." she admitted. Reisuki smiled somberly at that.

[20:39] <Deedles> [08:02] <Deedles> "There is, it's ran by the Fire Mentor, Leewan!" Chiyoko stated with a grin as she walked alongside Xi on the opposite side to Rei.

[20:39] <Deedles> [08:16] <Deedles> "Yeah, it's a nice place, good for meeting new people too." Chiyoko replied, her grin softening into a smile "And... it reminds me of home." she admitted. Reisuki smiled somberly at that
[20:40] <Feldion> "People get drunk in your village often?" Xi asks, with a chuckle.
[20:42] <Deedles> Chiyoko laughed faintly "A bit, my father runs an Inn, and we have a bar, so eversince Shen, Yoshi and Jian saved our town more and more people would gather there to drink and socialize."
[20:44] <Feldion> "It pays to be well known," Xi nods. "I'm glad your father has capitalized on the attention."
[20:46] <Deedles> "I'm sure he's considered that, but he, and the rest of town, are mostly happy that life has returned to us." Chiyoko said with a soft smile. Reisuki nodded "We all want to see the best happen to our homes." she chimed with a thoughtful look.
[20:49] <Feldion> "Exactly why I'm here!" Xi says. "I have to do my best for the Red Phoenix Society."
[20:51] <Deedles> "I think that's very virtous of you." Reisuki told Xi as she smiled
[20:53] <Feldion> Xi giggles, looking away into the village. "I have people back home expecting me to succeed. I don't want to let them down."
[20:54] <Deedles> "Ohh? Like who?" Chiyoko asked as she peered at Xi with a curious look.
[20:57] <Feldion> "My roommate and fellow bride candidate.  She got removed from the program so she really wanted to see me succeed in her place...she's a good friend. I wouldn't be here she hadn't supported me."

[21:00] <Deedles> Chiyoko and Rei exchanged glances before they hugged Xi from either side "Sounds like a wonderful friend." Chiyoko said as she smiled broadly "So we'll just have to do our best to try to do a good job in her place, yeah?" Reisuki concluded with a grin.
[21:05] <Feldion> "Oh, I-I'd be honored if you would! I'll do my best for you as well." Xi flushes a little as she switches her gaze between the two of them. "I'll get the first round," she decides.
[21:07] <Deedles> "Then I'll get the second." Reisuki insisted as she pulled away from the hug "I guess that means I get the third." Chiyoko said with a slight smile as she too left the hug.
[21:10] <Feldion> "It would only be fair," Xi says to Chiyoko with a chuckle.
[21:16] <Deedles> "True, but I'm sure I can convince Leewan to at least give us one bottle for free." Chiyoko grinned
[21:17] <Feldion> "Then Chiyoko should get us two rounds, right Reisuki?"
[21:18] <Deedles> "Definetly!" Reisuki concurred with a sage-nod. Chiyoko laughed "Alright then!"
[21:22] <Feldion> "It's one of a courtiers most valued skills," Xi mock-whispers to Reisuki, "to receive drinks for free."
[21:23] <Deedles> Reisuki chuckled "That doesn't surprise me, especially for one such as you."
[21:25] <Feldion> "Such as me?" Xi presses a hand to her chest. "Should I be wounded?"
[21:26] <Deedles> "No, be flattered. You're an attractive, young woman." Rei explained as she folded her arms
[21:30] <Feldion> "One of three tonight," Xi says gesturing with her sleeve to the others. "I'm sure you could receive some drinks for free yourself, if you tried."
[21:31] <Deedles> Chiyoko looked thoughtful "I could?" Reisuki ran a hand through her long, white hair, flicking it slightly. "I haven't tried anything of the sort in a while, could be fun to do so though."
[21:33] <Feldion> "Do you want to make it a competition?" Xi asks with a grin. "Your bottle from Leewan would not count," she says to Chiyokko.
[21:36] <Deedles> "You'll probably win, but, life's no fun without a little challenge." Reisuki grinned in return. Chiyoko shrugged, before she smiled "Sure!"
[21:37] <Feldion> Xi looks thoughtful, "but what shall the winner receive for victory? Other than more drinks?"
[21:41] <Deedles> Chiyoko tapped her lips in thought "I could ask Yoshi if he could cook something for the winner. He's always looking for a reason to cook someone something, so I'm sure he'd like to." she suggested with a broad smile "He's a great chef!"
[21:42] <Feldion> Xi nods slowly, "I can accept that. Reisuki?"
[21:43] <Deedles> "Sounds good to me." Rei agreed as she smiled faintly.
[22:02] <Deedles> Soon enough they reached the Sake House. It was a rather large building with two floors, the structure held up by beams of dark wood with white stone making up the walls, its roof made of bright red tiles. A sign hung above the door 'Liquid Fire'. "Here we are!" Chiyoko said as she pulled the door open for the other two.
[22:04] <Feldion> "Thank you." Xi inspects the sake house's interior with interest as she enters.
[19:55] <Feldion> "I just arrived today," Xi smiles at him. "My name is Xi Feng and yours is Lin?"
[20:00] <Deedles> "Lin Huang." He introduced herself as he grinned at her "Hope you enjoy your stay here." Reisuki and Chiyoko smiled as they moved over to an empty table to have a seat and wait for their companion.
[20:03] <Feldion> "I think I will," Xi gives him a quick look up and down then turns and walks over to the table.
[20:05] <Deedles> "So, Xi." Reisuki began to say as she joined them "Seeing as you're the guest I think it's fair that you get to decide what we talk about." she stated with a smile.
[20:09] <Feldion> "I think...we should talk about the most embarrassing thing we've been made to do by this-" Xi flicks the bottle of Sake.
[20:10] <Deedles> Chiyoko giggled "Sounds like fun!" she said as she held forward her glass. Reisuki pondered for a moment before she smirked "Alright then." she nodded
[20:12] <Feldion> Xi pours herself and the others a cupful. "As the guest, it would only be honorable to make me embarrass myself last." She sips at her Sake, a smirk half-hidden behind it.
[20:15] <Deedles> "Fine then, I can start." Chiyoko offered as she planted and elbow on the table and looked thoughtful "There was a boy I liked back in Jiangan once." she began "And once when I got drunk he came to the Inn, and I thought it was a great idea to sing an old love song to him." she went red as she rubbed the back of her head.
[20:18] <Feldion> Xi laughs loudly. "Did you sing the whole song? How many people were at the inn?"
[20:20] <Deedles> "We were pretty full, so close to 30, I think." Chiyoko muttered with a faint smile. "And yeah, I sang the whole song."
[20:21] <Feldion> "Can I change what I win, if I win?" Xi suddenly asks Reisuke, a huge grin on her face.
[20:21] <Deedles> "I don't see why not." Rei replied, mirroring her grin. Chiyoko got a look of dread on her face.
[20:26] <Feldion> Xi turns dramatically to Chiyoko, gesturing at her with her cup. "If I win, you have to sing that song again." Xi leans in.  "In front of everyone."
[20:27] <Deedles> Chiyoko raised a finger as she was going to object before she sighed "Well... at least I'm not singing in front of my crush this time." she concluded in defeat before downing her sake. Reisuki laughed "Aww, I bet you have a wonderful voice." she said, half-encouraging, half-teasing.
[20:29] <Feldion> Xi downed her own Sake and poured herself and Chiyoko a new cup. "Your turn, Reisuki~"
[20:30] <Deedles> Reisuki sipped at her drink as she looked thoughtful "I ... don't have any embarrassing drinking stories." she replied calmly, though her voice didn't sound entirely sincere.
[20:34] <Feldion> Xi shares a look with Chiyoko. "You can't lie to a Phoenix, Reisuki~ Tell us!"
[20:40] <Deedles> Chiyoko placed her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands as she looked at Rei expectantly. Reisuki shifted her gace between them before she shook her head and folded her arms, shifting uncomfortably. "It's not embarrassing, just degrading..." she said softly as she looked down at her glass.
[20:41] <Feldion> "Then you have to down a cup," Xi gives her an out.
[20:42] <Deedles> Reisuki downed her sake and held it forward for a refill with an appreciative smile "That I can live with."
[20:43] <Feldion> Xi refilled it with a grin. "You might not think so tomorrow!"
[20:44] <Deedles> "I've had plenty of hangovers, I'll survive, trust me." Reisuki assured her with a faint laugh. Chiyoko turned to Xi as she grinned. "So, how about you?"
[22:01] <Feldion> "Me?" Xi looks up in thought. "Well, we were never allowed to drink outside of the Society's estate. We might be tempted to lose our 'purity' and what would the Emperor think then?" Xi laughs. "Not that it matters now!"
[22:02] <Deedles> "I guess so." Reisuki said with a smile. Chiyoko grumbled "No fair, I was the only one with a drunken story!"
[22:03] <Feldion> "Oh, no, I do have one!" Xi corrects, "we were able to drink, but only on the Estate."
[22:04] <Deedles> "Ohh?" Chiyoko leaned forward as she looked curiously at Xi. Reisuki just smiled as she waited.
[22:08] <Feldion> Xi flushes as she calls back the memory. "So, one night all of us bride candidates were drinking together. Which, you know, we needed to do. The Empress's Wife, or any Phoenix, can't be a lightweight!" Xi downs another cup of sake and pours herself another to illustrate.
[22:09] <Deedles> "Makes sense." Chiyoko nodded in agreement while looking thoughtful. Reisuki nodded too, but remained quiet.
[22:14] <Feldion> "So, we're all drinking together when we notice that one of us," Xi places her cup down on the table, "was missing. We all think she had probably just gone to," Xi waves her hand dismissively. "Right? Until one of her friends mentioned that she'd got a crush on some blacksmiths' son out in the village."
[22:15] <Feldion> "Then we waited and she never came back, so we all started panicking. Because if she got caught, she could be thrown out of the group!"
[22:22] <Feldion> "Those of us who were the least drunk should go out into the village and see if they could find her is what we decided. And, of course, it should be the least drunk of us who should go.  Which meant that the most drunk of us all went."
[22:23] <Deedles> Chiyoko and Reisuki both laughed at this "Of course." Rei said as she shook her head.
[22:28] <Feldion> "Five of us, including me, all sneaked through the Society and snuck out over a low section of the wall by lifting each other up. Of course, we couldn't figure out how to get the last person over once four of us were over the wall. So we went down to four."
[22:34] <Feldion> "After that, we ran through the back-alleys of the Rhuyun to get to this blacksmith. Because, Su, the girl, and her crush had to be meeting there, not somewhere out of the way or anything. And we made it there and scoped the place out by walking back and forth in front of it, like, ten times. All four of us in dresses."
[22:35] <Deedles> Reisuki and Chiyoko leaned forward slightly as they listened
[22:37] <Feldion> "Finally, we realised we wouldn't figure anything out that way so we tried to get in.  The door was locked." Xi picks up her cup and downs it. "So three of us kicked the door in."
[22:42] <Feldion> "Then," Xi's blush intensifies, "as we went in, this shirtless, really fit boy runs into the room. From his bedroom, yeah...Muscles everywhere! All four of us get right in his face and start demanding to know where Su is and two of them head off into the house to check it out and find her."
[22:43] <Deedles> Chiyoko got and almost dreamy expression as she envisioned the blacksmith's boy while Reisuki just chuckled.
[22:50] <Feldion> "Eventually, we, me and the other girl, shouting at this guy kinda realize he has no idea what is going on." Xi puts her head in her hands. "Or even Su is." Xi looks up at Chiyoko and Reisuki through her hands. "We'd got the house wrong."
[22:51] <Feldion> who Su is*
[22:52] <Deedles> Chiyoko and Reisuki bursted out laughing at that "Ah, Gods. That's too good." Chiyoko giggled)
[22:57] <Feldion> "So, we leave and start heading back to the Society. Wondering where Su was so we decided to swing by the river side to see if she'd slipped or something. Long story short, we both ended up coated in mud and miserable before we got back home."
[23:03] <Feldion> "We somehow made it back over the wall and the next thing I remember is waking up in the bathhouse in the bath, still in my dress, half-covered in mud with the other girl the same way on the other side."
[23:04] <Feldion> "Feeling terrible, oh god," Xi giggles, "I get out of the bath and head to the outhouse...and guess what I find?"
[23:04] <Deedles> "What?" Chiyoko asked with a grin as she chuckled.
[23:05] <Feldion> "Su. She'd been asleep in there the whole time. She'd fallen asleep on the s-shitter!"
[23:06] <Deedles> Reisuki and Chiyoko covered their mouths as they tried to hold back their laughs, but just couldn't. "Ahaha! Pricelss!" Reisuki raised a hand to her eyes to wipe away a tear.
[23:10] <Feldion> Xi laughs with them, face very red. "I-it get better though! Because we'd left the other two girls at the Blacksmith's when we left! So, mid-morning, they both sneak back-in.  No longer virgins. They'd made that blacksmith's son a very lucky boy!"
[23:11] <Deedles> Chiyoko chuckled "Lucky gals too." She chimed with a dreamy look
[23:13] <Feldion> "Mmmm, we got told all the details when we all got drunk again. One of them actually ran off with him a few years ago." Xi laughs then sighs. "I hope they worked out."
[23:14] <Deedles> "Hope so too. It sounds romantic." Chiyoko said with a dreamy smile. Reisuki shook her head "I'm way past romance." she stated with a faint smile.
[23:15] <Feldion> "How can you be past romance?" Xi asks, pouring the other two another drink.
[23:17] <Deedles> "Have a corrupt pirate for a husband for a few years and young dreams of romance becomes nothing but a memory." Rei replied plainly, before she downed her sake. Chiyoko blinked at that, looking across the table at the Princess.
[23:22] <Feldion> "That sounds terrible." Xi pours Rei another cup. "Do you want to talk about it?"
[23:24] <Deedles> Reisuki lifted her glass as she studied the liquid inside "I guess... I haven't spoke to anyone about it since I managed to escape." she confessed
[23:27] <Feldion> "If you want to, we've just met so I don't want to drag anything out of you." Xi says, checking if Chiyoko was ok with this turn in conversation with a glance.
[23:28] <Deedles> Chiyoko mainly seemed to be concerned with Rei as she remained quiet. Reisuki sighed as she smiled soberly "They do say it's not good to keep things bottled up." she said, glancing around herself before she looked at the other two "Would you mind if we did this in private though?"
[23:33] <Feldion> Xi shakes her head. "We can have our competition another time," she suggests with a smile.
[23:34] <Deedles> "Sounds good to me." Chiyoko agreed "We can go to my place." She suggested before getting to her feet and heading over to the bar, talking quickly to Lin before she got two bottles of Sake. Reisuki slowly stood up "Thank you." she said quietly to Xi.
[23:42] <Feldion> "You don't have to thank me," Xi replies as quietly as she stands as well. "You and Chiyoko have been very welcoming."
[23:46] <Deedles> "It's the least we can do." Reisuki told her with a soft smile "Despite not really knowing you yet I don't think you have anything truly malicious in mind." she then shrugged as she chuckled "Jian is just protective, and Shen and Sanru's clan is dedicated to protecting the Imperial family. It's nothing personal."
[23:49] <Feldion> Xi flips her hair. "I'm sure I'll win them to my side eventually! A Phoenix's charm is fearsome!"
[23:50] <Deedles> "Hah, I have no doubt of that." Rei grinned faintly, looking to the side as Chiyoko re-joined them "Well, I'm stacked up and ready to go." she said as she held up two bottles of sake.
[23:52] <Feldion> "Lead the way!"
[23:53] <Deedles> "Follow me!" Chiyoko lead them out of the sake out and continued down the road that they'd arrived on, in the direction of the Fire Temple.
[23:54] <Feldion> "Is there a temple dedicated to each of the elements?"
[23:54] <Feldion> Xi asks as they walk.
[23:57] <Deedles> "Yeah, one for Fire, Water, Metal, Wood, and then a shared one for the two aspects of Earth." Chiyoko explained to her as she smiled. Reisuki quietly walked beside the other two, her arms folded behind her.
[23:59] <Feldion> Xi tucks her hands into her sleeves, bringing them together. "So there are six masters present in the village...it is a shame that I have no wish or skill for elemental chi."
00:00] <Deedles> "Maybe you do, but just haven't discovered it yet?" Chiyoko said as she glanced at Xi.
[00:05] <Feldion> Xi shakes her head. "My chi is impeccably balanced between all five elements. When they tested us for elemental influence at the Society, none of the focuses moved."
[00:07] <Deedles> "Ahh." Chiyoko went quiet at that, looking thoughtful before she perked up "Oh, that's my house!" she said, pointing at a small building up ahead.
[00:07] <Feldion> "It looks pleasant," Xi says.
[00:08] <Deedles> "Thanks." Chiyoko smiled at Xi as she lead them the rest of the way before opening the door for them. "Welcome." she bowed deeply in jest. Reisuki chuckled as she headed inside.
[00:09] <Feldion> Xi bows back. "I'm honored to be invited into your home. Please treat me kindly." She raises with a grin on her face.
[00:09] <Feldion> rises*
[00:11] <Deedles> "Of course~" Chiyoko giggled as she followed them both inside, closing the door after them. They entered into a small living room, a doorway to their left leading into a smaller bedroom, and straight ahead was another doorway leading into the kitchen.
[00:16] <Feldion> Xi settles onto a cushion by the table in the living room. "It is very tidy," Xi comments.
[00:17] <Deedles> "Thank you. I'm used to having to keep things clean in the Inn, and as they say, old habits die hard." Chiyoko said as she had a seat opposit to Xi, Rei sitting down inbetween them.
[00:19] <Feldion> Xi pours the drinks again and passes the cups around. "It is a good habit to have! A tidy house is a calm house, as the saying goes."
[00:20] <Deedles> "I couldn't agree with that more." Rei nodded as she sipped at her drink, and Chiyoko looked rather proud as she had some of her drink too.
[00:22] <Feldion> "Mai always cleaned our room," Xi sighs. "I'll have to make do myself now."
[00:23] <Deedles> "Well, since you don't have anywhere to stay yet you can stay here tonight at least." Chiyoko offered
[00:32] <Feldion> "Thank you! I doubt Satzu would understand why a drunk," Xi gestures at the bottles on the table, "girl was showing up at his door asking for a room."
[00:33] <Deedles> Chiyoko laughed "Yeah, he'd probably be baffled, even if Bourbon would definetly let you in."
[00:36] <Feldion> "That speaks well of her. I'm looking forward to meeting her!"
[00:36] <Deedles> "I think you two will get along." Chiyoko grinned. Reisuki nodded "From what I've seen of her she seems nice." she agreed
[00:44] <Feldion> Xi nods and takes a long sip of her drink, giving Reisuki or Chiyoko the chance to set the topic.
[00:47] <Deedles> Reisuki looked down at her drink, before inhaling deeply. "So, I think we all agreed it was time for me to get some stuff off my chest?"
[00:48] <Feldion> "As much as you want to," Xi agrees.
[00:49] <Deedles> "Yeah." Chiyoko echoed. Rei nodded as she quietly had some of her drink. "Well, we were speaking of embarrassing experiences while drunk, so I guess I can at least speak about that."
[00:51] <Feldion> Xi sips at her own drink.
[00:55] <Deedles> "It was after one of my escape attempts, my first one in fact." Rei began to tell them. "We'd docked in a small harbour in one of the neighbouring countries and I'm managed to slip away in the night while Katashi had gone out drinking with his crew, but by the time I had they weren't long to return, and he quickly realized I was gone. They started searching for me and I tried to escape them, but they spotted me."
[00:55] <Deedles> she paused as she shook her head, her gaze lowered onto the table in front of her. "I ran, as fast as I could... But it wasn't fast enough. As I rounded a corner I ran straight into Katashi's arms and he carried me back to the ship."
[00:56] <Feldion> Xi starts to frown but doesn't interrupt.
[01:01] <Deedles> "When we got back he thought he'd teach me a lesson so he forced me to drink a bottle of some vile tasting spirit. The memory's so blurred I can't even recall what anymore." Reisuki confessed as she picked up her glass, swirling it gently by rolling her wrist. [01:01] <Deedles> in front of everyone, asking me why I try to escape when I could have a good life being the Pirate Queen to his Pirate King. I... don't recall much else than that, only that he dragged me back to his bedroom afterwards. I'd rather not speak of what happened there." she told them plainly.
[01:02] <Deedles> Chiyoko's hands were clenched into fists, miniature fires glowing in her eyes as she trembled...
[01:04] <Feldion> "How do you feel about all of it now?" Xi asks, settling her cup down on the table.
[01:05] <Deedles> "Degraded... I hate people, in particularely males, touching me without anykind of warning. As long as I initiate it I'm fine though." Rei answered honestly before downing the rest of her sake, her cheeks going a bit red as the alcohol began having its effect.
[01:10] <Feldion> "That's more than understandable," Xi gives her a faint smile. "I can't imagine what it must have been like, but I've heard so many stories and warnings....you seem to have come a long way since then."
[01:12] <Deedles> "It large part thanks to Jian, Shen and Yoshi." Rei admitted with a small smile "Before I met them I was starting to believe that all men were sleezy and greedy vermin."
[01:14] <Feldion> "The worst men and women ruin their genders," Xi says. "Those three are good men?"
[01:17] <Deedles> "Very good." Reisuki stated with calm certainty. "As long as I've known them they've always done what is right and helped those who need it."
[01:17] <Deedles> Chiyoko nodded in agreement "They saved my home town from the corruption." She chimed
[01:27] <Feldion> "I'll be glad to get to know them with those votes of confidence." Xi says with a nod before turning her attention back to Reisuki, "I haven't known you long but you seem like a wonderful, strong woman. Trusting me with that part of your past..it doesn't change my opinion," Xi nods to herself.
[01:29] <Feldion> "No one in this village seems like someone I couldn't at least respect."
[01:36] <Deedles> Reisuki smiled softly "I'm grateful for that." she said honestly as she shifted back to lean her back against the wall behind her. "I feel much the same about you. You're very brave, coming to the mountains like you did." Chiyoko smiled "I can agree with that."
[01:39] <Feldion> Xi grips her cup a little stronger for half a second before relaxing. "I couldn't do anything else," Xi chuckles into her other hand. "This is what I was raised for. What my purpose is, what the Society, my friends, are expecting of me."
[01:40] <Deedles> "But what do you want?" Chiyoko wondered as she leaned forward slightly "I understand that you want to do what makes your society happy, but don't you have a wish of your own?"
[01:47] <Feldion> Xi downs her cup and goes silent in thought for a long moment, "I think I do..."
[01:48] <Deedles> Reisuki studied Xi in silence as Chiyoko looked at her curious "What is it?" she asked, but added quickly as she held up her hands "If you don't mind me asking, that is."
[01:52] <Feldion> Xi shakes her head. "I don't mind. I just don't know how to say it without sounding..." Xi settles her chin on a sleeve-covered hand. "I want power." She states simply.
[01:53] <Deedles> Chiyoko seemed a bit thoughtful at that while Reisuki shrugged "That goal in and of itself isn't a bad thing, the real question is; Why do you want power?"
[01:56] <Feldion> "To give...as many people the life I lived as I can."
[01:56] <Feldion> Xi fills up her cup again and downs it.
[01:57] <Deedles> Reisuki smiled warmly "Then, at least as far as I am concerned, you have a worthy goal." Chiyoko rested her chin on one of her hands "I can agree with that, I think that's a very benevolent wish."
[02:00] <Feldion> Xi shrugs, face quite red by now. "It's what the Phoenix really wants, I think. Not the...people but the," Xi gestures widely, "Society, the...goal."
[02:00] <Deedles> "It's the ideology, you mean?" Reisuki inquired
[02:02] <Feldion> "Yeah, that!" Xi laughs as she pours herself and Reisuki another drink. "I couldn't think of the word."
[02:04] <Deedles> Rei chuckled as she drank some more "It happens." she smiled. Chiyoko laid down on her side as she quietly drank, looking content.
[02:05] <Feldion> "Soooo," Xi elongates the word, "do you want...to get anything else of that chest of yours?" Xi asks.
[02:06] <Deedles> "Off mine? About Katashi? No, I think I'm fine for now, but..." Reisuki folded her arms onto the table before resting her chin on them. "I wonder if I should go see how Jian is doing..." she confessed.
[02:07] <Feldion> "Got a crush?" Xi asks with a smirk.
[02:08] <Deedles> "I... don't know." Rei answered honestly as she averted her gaze. "But he's in a lot of pain and uncertainty right now. In the time I've known him he's always been so sure, but now, at times, he seems completely lost... I just don't think he should be alone." her eyes narrowed sadly.
[02:10] <Feldion> Xi lightly kicks her under the table. "Then go see him! The sooner he gets sure the sooner I can beat him up!"
[02:11] <Deedles> Rei blinked before she looked at Chiyoko who grinned and nodded "Yeah, shoo with you!" she concurred while waving a hand at the Princess. Reisuki chuckled as she began getting to her feet "I think I've just been given a direct order." she said
[02:14] <Feldion> "My prize for winning the drinking competition!" Xi raises her cup high, sake sloshing a bit. "And one day I might be head advisor or something!"
[02:15] <Deedles> "Sounds plausible, after you spend some time getting to know Mingxia." Reisuki suggested while heading for the door "I'll see you guys later, take care!" she waved before exiting the house.
