☛ | background: Chanmi's parents met during university when Izumi travelled from Japan to Korea to study, and they fell in love and got married after graduating. Chanmi grew up in Daegu, where she attended primary school and had a normal family life, with her parents earning a stable income.  During her free time, she would help out her father at his restaurant working as a part time waitress to earn herself some spending money. However, she later earned a scholarship to School of Performing Arts Seoul, and moved to Seould to pursue her acting career. She later starred in the drama "Starstruck" as the leading role, and her career hit off from there. Her younger brother intended to follow in her footsteps and also attends the same school, while her younger sister is studying in Daegu.

☛ | personality: Chanmi is usually a sweet and innocent girl who doesn't have a sarcastic bone in her body. Both herself and others tend to cringe whenever she tries to pull of sarcasm, because it just doesn't seem to suit her. Chanmi can also be rather shy around people, especially when meeting them for the first time, but tends to open up to them pretty quickly. She can also sometimes be a bit awkward, which people tend to blame on her youth, and the transition between being a teenager and becoming an adult. They often find her very relatable because of this. Chanmi can also be very forgetful, forgetting things like birthdays and other important dates, and also has a habit of zoning out completely. She was very embarrassed, especially when she fell over but he remained on his feet. When she realised that he was the person she was meant to be getting married to, she wanted to hide and quickly covered her flushed face. However, he simply laughed and helped her up, finding her cute.
