  1.
  2. >You were fine with laying down on the grass and staring at clouds.
  3. >The sky was pretty around here. Everything was pretty.
  4. >A shadow blurred across the sky. Faster than the ponderous herds of cloud that ambled overhead.
  5. >The sky above began to clear away, slowly turning into a blanket of crystal blue. One little shadow zipped through the air.
  6. >You groan as the tiny assailent corralled away all clouds to some far off corner. All except one.
  7. >You take a deep breath and call out, disgruntled that the raised volume is taking you out of your hazy bliss.
  8. >"You can leave at least one for me!"
  9. >The streaking shape circles and buzzes in recognition. You know she can hear you, and you know she's just thinking of ways to be difficult.
  10. >That was one of two things you could count on her to be -difficult and lazy.
  11. >She perched herself on a cloud. A hoof flipped her spiky hair around as she looked at you with deliberation. Or what she thought was deliberation. It was more like a taunt. Almost everything she did was a taunt.
  12. >She put her hoof on her chin.
  13. "Why would I want to leave -anything- for you?"
  14. >"Because those clouds will just come back tomorrow anyway. One left up there isn't going to ruin anyone's day."
  15. "Don't care. It's my job, yeah? I got a rep to maintain."
  16. >"Cranky's arthritis is better maintained than your rep."
  17. "I'm gonna make this cloud rain on you."
  18. >You stick your tongue at her. She sticks her own. This was as mature an exchange the two of you are capable of.
  19. >"Come on, RD. Just...take a break that lasts as long as I want to lie here." She considers your suggestion. She did enjoy a healthy sized break. Her mouth makes a 'hmm' shape.
  20. "Depends. How long you planning on lying there?"
  21. >"Pretty long. Hours. Longer if you come down here and join me." She rolls upside down and stares at you with big eyes that love the game you're playing.
  22. "Why would I want to spend my break with you? I've made lists of way cooler things I can do other than hang out with you."
  23. >"Must be invisible then. Look, just don't move the cloud. If you shoo it out the way then I'm going to be laying out here in the sun for probably hours, and I'm too crazy-lazy to move. I'll get sunburnt."
  24. "You're talking to the last person in the world who cares."
  25. >"But I caaaaaaaaare!" You cross your arms and huff. "Fine. If you come down here for a while I'll tolerate you telling me about all the cool stuff you'd rather be doing ." You hear her laugh from way up there.
  26. "You are so bad at making something sound appealing."
  27. >She shakes her head and rolls off the cloud smoothly. Her wings are half open and she tumbles slowly through the air and towards the ground. The blue little pony wafts left and right like a falling feather.
  28. >Sun shines through the tips of her slim, but long wings.
  29. >She smiles as her wings wave open fully, catching a last draft of air that slows her descent to a crawl mere feet above you. She lands softly right below your breasts.
  30. >God, she's light.
  31. >She blows some hair out of your face.
  32. "Hey."
  33. >"Hey." Her wings tuck into her sides as you prop yourself up onto your elbows to get a better look at her. You noticed her ever-present scent of morning dew and just a bit of ozone. The fresh air smelled fresher when she was around.
  34. "I may have fibbed a bit."
  35. >"How so?" She nestled around on your stomach.
  36. "It's a wednesday. Nothing cool ever goes on during wednesdays. Worst day of the week."
  37. >"Terrible." You agreed. "They should get rid of it." The cloud stayed overhead, providing light shade. You lay back a bit and let your right arm slink up and over her shoulder where absentmindedly decided to stroke. "Busy day?" She scoffs.
  38. "I wish. But not really. There's jack-all to do up there. I almost feel bad that they're paying me to do this."
  39. >She giggles how a cat would if it could.
  40. "But not really."
  41. >She turns her head and noses around at your forearm.
  42. "I could just blow off everything and hang out here all day and nobody'd notice."
  43. >You measure out a "Hmm..." and scritch at the base of her wings. She closes her eyes and rests her head against you, making little fidgety sounds as you fingers work where she can't. "Sounds like a good idea. That cloud would stay there all day and I wouldn't have to move." She finds the presence of mind to mutter.
  44. "Yeah...sounds great...just chill around...no getting sunburnt for you."
  45. >She opens an eye halfay.
  46. "Having no fur must really suck for you. All you have is that sad excuse for a mane and those thingies on your eyes."
  47. >She pokes your eyebrows.
  48. >"Yup. Makes me look scary." She laughs sleepily.
  49. "Nobody is scared of something with their tits in the wrong place. You look like you're gonna flop over any second. I have no idea how you walk."
  50. >You put your hand over her face and move it around. "I have sharp teeth." You show off your less-than intimidating canines. "They are scary." You snap at her. She is not impressed at all. You try once more for luck.
  51. >She bounces up and kisses you once on the lips. There's a jolt of electricity in the back of your head.
  52. "You are so stupid.
  53. >She nuzzles around your lips and cheeks. Your arms come up around her and you pull her closer to you. The smell of open air becomes stronger.
  54. "Folks say I yack alot, and I do. But wow...you. Just you. Say the dumbest things sometimes."
  55. >"I try my best."
  56. "You should win a prize."
  57. >"You already took them all. I can't compete with a professional like you." She picks her head up and gives a smile peppered with cockiness.
  58. "No one can compete with me."
  59. >You run your fingers through her mane. She glows from the feel of your sifting fingers and nails tracing carefully over her scalp. It was like petting a cute girl and a big dog at the same time. It rocksed.
  60. "Fact of life. Just the best. Born this way. Didn't ask for it. Destiny and all that good stuff."
  61. >She never shuts up. But you like it that way. You loved hearing her talk. Her voice was like warm sand blowing in the wind. It made you think of the beach and warm breezes and lots of sunshine. You like the sun.
  62. >You like her.
  63. >You've fallen asleep with her lying beside or on top of you. She would just chat away about nothing in particular. Sometimes you paid attention. Most times you didn't. It was soothing all the same.
  64. >"Must be lonely at the top."
  65. >Her muzzle nooked into your neck. Little tingles crawled around you as she explored without thought. You hugged her a little tighter. She felt warm.
  66. "'S not that bad. You can see everything from up there." Her head popped up again. "Let's me keep an eye on you."
  67. >"Are you spying on me?" She makes a non-commital head nod.
  68. "Totally."
  69. >"How did you get so pervy?" She scooches back a little bit.
  70. "Well you don't help. I mean you do have these awesome things."
  71. >She plops her head on your tits.
  72. "I mean, they are sooooo freaking soft."
  73. >She makes an almost drunken laugh. You just roll your eyes as she shoves her head between your breasts and presses her hooves agains them, hugging them like they were the softest kittens in the world.
  74. >She had a major boob fetish that borderlined on obsession. You're certain that if you ever fall asleep around her with a marker you'd wake up with the word "Rainbow's -Don't Touch" written all over your tatties.
  75. >They were pretty great...
  76. >You're lying out in a field in broad daylight while a blue horse girl snuggles on your chest-butt. Someone might see you, but you couldn't give two shits. You bite your lip and close your eyes as she indulges herself.
  77. >But she probably doesn't need to get *that* distracted, as much as you wouldn't mind. You grab her along the sides and hoist her off your chest. You groans and waves her hooves uselessly as you pry her away from her objects of affection.
  78. "Nooo, c'mon."
  79. >"Not while you're on duty." She huffs and her wings droop down across your arms. She tries to give you puppy-dog eyes, but you know she's too evil for that.
  80. "This was your idea in the first place."
  81. >"And you actually listened to me. All your fault." She beats her wings at you in aggravation. As mcuh as you wanted to start some shenanigans you knew she did have an actual job-job to do.
  82. "Ugh. Guess it is. Fine, you got me this time."
  83. >"Ha." You lift your legs up into the air and place her on the bottom of your feet. You stick your hands behind you head and smile at a pointless victory. "I'm tricky. Don't forget that."
  84. "I forget useless stuff really fast."
  85. >She gives you a 'say something' look. You lower your left leg and balance her on one foot.
  86. >It is ridiculous how light she is. She goes limp on you.
  87. >"Are you off tomorrow?"
  88. "Nah. Day after."
  89. >"Damn."
  90. "That's what I said."
  91. >You look at each other with enough melodrama to win an oscar before breaking out into snickers.
  92. >You felt a little breeze pick up. Her ear twitched in response and her wings splayed open, tilting up and down along with the wind, waving a little left....a little right. Your leg moved side to side as the wind nudged her around.
  93. >The cloud above started to drift away. Sunlight touched the both of you.
  94. >Screw you, cloud.
  95. >She opened her eyes again and looked at you for a little while. Her tomboyish features were wavering between contentedness and annoyance that she actually had responsibilities. She noticed a few more clouds huddling in the distance.
  96. "Guess I have to get back to work, huh?"
  97. >"Probably. You got a rep and all that, right?" She grunted an affirmation and stretched her legs out.
  98. "Best rep ever."
  99. >She opened her wings fully and gave a good flap, leaping off your foot and backflipping into the air. You lowered your leg and sat upright. "See you later?"
  100. "I guess. Don't do anything exciting without me, yeah?"
  101. >"I'll try my best."
  102. "Cool. See you 'round."
  103. >She pauses for a moment longer than she should. Her magenta eyes look at you while a soft smile grows on her face. Then she looks at you boobs real quick and the smile gets a bit bigger. But she looks at you in the eyes again.
  104. >Then it was back to the sky with her.
  105. >You fall back to the ground as she tows away the cloud. You want to smile like an idiot for a few seconds. It feels nice.
  106. >You gather enough strength and stand up with begrudging determination. "Oh crap!"
  107. >You jump around at scratch at your back. Some ants found there way down there. "Crap! Crap! Crap!"
  108. >You run out of the field to avoid death-by-insects, but manage to take some of Rainbow's warm glowing feeling with you.
