  3. Hi. I am an investor in Resistance via ICO syndicate. I am contacting you to give data and my suspicions on funds mismanagement by Resistance team
  4.
  5. https://etherscan.io/address/0xcb943d9aa156cfa77970bbcb9b4506b0a23bb76b
  6.
  7. Till date, Resistance have collected 9.4 mil usd
  8.
  9. But on all their communications, they are claiming that private sale is only for 5.4mil!
  10.
  11. This address was the recipient of all ETH collected by Ico Syndicate for Resistance
  12.
  13. https://gyazo.com/0c7dd323ba3ecaed0cb8e437e510f3ef
  14.
  15. I downloaded csv file from etherscan and calculated sum collected based on historic price for each transaction
  16.
  17. And I got 9.4mil usd equivalent deposited into the bitstamp address i shared with you
  18.
  19. Me:
  20. Do you have proof they own this wallet?
  21.
  22. Source:
  23.
  24. Resistance pool on ICO Syndicate was linked to this address. All eth collected by Syndicate were sent to this address
  25.
  26. So, yes, this could be connected to Resistance either directly or indirectly
  27.
  28. But I am a layman. Not even a techie
  29.
  30. I only reported what I saw on the blockchain.
  31.
  32. Me:
  33.
  34. Why does this wallet have ERC 20 tokens in it like Morpheus Network?
  35.
  36. Source:
  37.
  38. As far as I could find out, this is a deposit address for an account holder using Bitstamp
  39.
  40. Eg: If I send eth to my binance eth address, then that address will be unique to me
  41.
  42. I shared with Ico Syndicate today and the admins reckoned that this was a bitstamp address.
  43.
  44. I hope experts will get to the bottom of this
  45.
  46. Me:
  47.
  48. So the ETH wallet contract you sent me is a bithump address which is Resistance wallet address?
  49.
  50. Source:
  51.
  52. I dont know if it’s bitstamp or bithumb. I was told that it was bitstamp
  53.
  54. All I know is that nearly 1000eth collected for resistance by ICO syndicate were directly sent to this address
  55.
  56. And the screenshot I shared shows how much usdt equivalent were sent to the account
  57.
  58. Me:
  59.
  60. Can you give me a better understanding of what this wallet address is and the proof of connections to resistance?
  61.
  62. Source:
  63.
  64. Ok. Give me a min.
  65.
  66. - ICO syndicate did second pool round for resistance which I invested in
  67. - those eth (990 in total for the pool) were sent to the above address I shared with you
  68. - ico syndicate mentioned that this is a bitstamp address and could have been OTC dealer address, but it was unclear
  69.
  70. Funds (990 eth) collected on behalf of Resistance by ICO syndicate were sent on 4th April
  71.
  72. Me:
  73.
  74. Ok but thats only $230k
  75.
  76. Source:
  77.
  78. Back then, less
  79.
  80. If we look at total eth sent to that address, then it is clear that 9.4mil usd equivalent were sent
  81.
  82. If there is a connection between that account and resistance, then it could be mismanagement of funds
  83.
  84. Me:
  85.
  86. Yes but if its an OTC wallet then its not Resistances fund.
  87.
  88. Source:
  89.
  90. Maybe a few private investors of resistance will be able to reveal resistance’s own address
  91.
  92. Or they may have been clever to only use OTC services to mask how much money was really raised
  93.
  94. Me:
  95.
  96. The second part is doubtful pools raised and sent them money directly.
  97.
  98. I am asking some sources for wallet addresses.
  99.
  100. What i find weird is that this wallet in the past year or so has had tokens in it.
  101.
  102. ***Response/Convo with Resistance***
  103.
  104. Anthony, [11.06.19 21:11]
  105. Hey, I know you will back Ian and I respect that. But please don't spread untrue information. We heard about the fund mismanagement issue and the souce had tracked the pool address to where we sent them to - GSR to OTC for fiat to the ops company for developement. They are in believe that the GSR wallet is owned by Resistance and think we raised more than we claim by that fact of tracking that wallet. I can honestly say that I put in my own money into building this in many months before even letting anyone know that this was something we were working on and my dream is to make this a success to make my dream come true. Just asking you not to spread things that you don't know is true. I know many people are concerned about the IEO and I have been working 22 hours just today with the team and we do everything we can to make this go live as soon as we can. Wanted you to know that and we very much appreciate everything you have done for us so far. As for Ian, we sent a legal termination letter to him earlier today before he posted his announcement https://medium.com/resistanceio/advisory-announcement-847442211a2c
  106.
  107. Oh Hey Matty Official, [11.06.19 21:11]
  108. Ian asked me to come on to be an unbias moderator or something.
  109.
  110. Anthony, [11.06.19 21:12]
  111. Understand. Saw you post and wanted to reach out so you know
  112.
  113. Oh Hey Matty Official, [11.06.19 21:13]
  114. So this address related to Bithumb what is the history on it?
  115.
  116. Oh Hey Matty Official, [11.06.19 21:13]
  117. Its an OTC dealer?
  118.
  119. Anthony, [11.06.19 21:14]
  120. Yes, OTC, they are also hired as our market maker. Same one Ripple uses for MM
  121.
  122. Oh Hey Matty Official, [11.06.19 21:16]
  123. Ok i will release a statement on it including the addressed rumor. Do you mind if i include your statement?
  124.
  125. Anthony, [11.06.19 21:17]
  126. It's all transparent and on the blockchain, feel free to use that statement for sure
  127.
  128. Anthony, [11.06.19 21:18]
  129. Thank you
