  1. //tell me about yourself. & why you want to work at a startup
  2. Hi my name is William Tahir, i am a graduate from University of Technology Sydney, studying in IT majoring in enterprise development. at the moment i am looking to be a full-stack developer. Currently i am learning angular and react to create a website. also on the side, me and my friend have been creating and maintaining bots in python for more than a year which are website scrapers, monitors, and autocheckout bots that are aimed to acquire limited shoes. this can be resold again for above the retail price due to very high demand. i am also in the big community in Australia that connects the buyer and seller for this shoes, where i learn more about the business in general especially in selling a product. I want to work at a startup because the opportunity to innovate on a new product that can benefits the public and i can also improve my skills as the company grows.

  4. // what skill, experience, and knowledge that you can bring to the startup
  5. from past experiences i learnt about working as a team, multi-tasking as well as perform under pressure. also from projects, i gain experience working in an agile team and within strict deadlines. as for technical skills im confident in python, java, c#, html, css, and Javascript. furthermore, i mentioned about personal project in python, to add, from there i also get knowledge about problem solving, planning, and designing the code to be easy to read. moreover, the app are able to bypass security thats installed within the online stores. from this i learnt about various techniques that they use to filter between human and non human. i also have a knowledge in using photoshop, marvel, and invision for UI sketching.

  7. //tell me when you solve a problem in a bsnss or working project ?
  8. there is this one website that have an anti-bot security and did an update that blocks my previous technique to bypass that. that day they did the update 3 days before a anticipated releases for a certain shoes so it was a very tight deadline. so their anti-bot measures are identifying human interaction on the website and generating cookies or identifier that contains the interaction history which will be used for verification on their server. before i could use a certain request to their website that is not protected. but now they block it and i must find another way. first me and my friend tried to figure out their mechanism for generating a valid cookie and try to fake that, it did work but only for less than 10 requests until their website consider it as not human. in the end, so around 2 hours before the release, i decided to use a browser automation program that fakes the interaction at random pattern to generate that human interaction history which will be used for the app to make the request looks real. so when faced with a problems, we should try to solve first before trying to make it looks good and never give up.
