  1. Saturday
  2. 10:00 P.M.
  3. Fair Cities Police Department
  4.
  5. “Do we really have to tell them about 'that'?”
  6.
  7. “Of course we don't. You can always omit part of your testimony because your embarrassed by it. Obstruction of justice be damned.”
  8.
  9. “So it's embarrassing to you now?!”
  10.
  11. “Alright, both of you settle the hell down.”
  12.
  13. The crab-girl and what seemed to be her mate(covered in bruises and torn clothing) where in the middle of a scuttle when the disgruntled officer walked in. Kelly sighed to himself in an attempt to sate his boiling anger at the two. He was a cop and they were high-school kids: their relationship was pretty clear cut.
  14.
  15. “Look: I just got back from dispersing a riot in central square, in the middle of the night, with no witnesses in their right minds. So you two are my only leads right now so if you could go ahead and tell me everything, that'd be just dandy."
  16.
  17. “Look, I'm just gonna get this out there before I start: I did not go on a rampage.”
  18.

  24. The Succubi Student Council president Won't Leave Me Alone
  25.
  26. Chapter 5
  27.
  28. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  29.
  30.
  31. Kelly was a Cop. If he was sure of anything, it was this.
  32.
  33. Kelly was also a whore. If anyone was sure about anything about Kelly, it was this.
  34.
  35. Kelly was also very Patient. In both sex and police work. Which probably was the reason he was so pissed about getting called down to the station at 7 o'clock to disperse a riot. Because Kelly had moved to Fair City for a week to inspect local police forces and as luck would have it, he found someone. A Lamia who just today had decided they should have casual sex, in the least casual manner. Intercourse all day, cuddles all night: That was the plan. The intercourse had gone well, but the cuddles were cut short.
  36.
  37. Kelly liked cuddling.
  38.
  39. For the second time in his life, Kelly had been blue-balled by high school students.
  40.
  41. Being a cop, there was no way Kelly could refuse a call to duty. This meant he would not get cuddles. This also meant that he would demand that these blue-balling high school students would spill everything that had happened today and their personal lives.
  42.
  43. Kelly is a nosey person.
  44.
  45. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  46.
  47. Cops are scary. Due to the ancient integration agreement, only humans could be enforcement officers. That's right, not the super-strength Oni or the magic wielding super-mages, just regular humans. The city was peaceful, most places with stable police departments were. This was because of 'normal' humans who learned quickly how to confront things much stronger then them. They eat terror for breakfast and violate it for dinner. Cops are scary.
  48.
  49. Natalie wasn't looking much better then I was. She wouldn't, given the days events and how we certainly wouldn't be a couple from now on. I still didn't hate her though. In a way, I liked her even more.
  50.
  51. So I took one of her shaking claws into my lap and began to gently stroke it's crusty plating. The shaking stopped after awhile.
  52.
  53. “Well we were walki-”
  54.
  55. “No, I skipped out on Lamia cuddles for this, your going to give me the entire story.”
  56.
  57. Officer Kelly was beautiful in a manly way. His blonde hair was bound into a pony-tail and it made him look like some sort of famous poet or revolutionary, the kind every quiet girl and English major would want to wed. Shame he seemed to be disagreeable today. I would be too if I missed out on cuddles, especially of the scaly verity.
  58.
  59. “Okay then, when do you want me to start?”
  60.
  61. “When you got out of bed this morning.”
  62.
  63. This guy sure is nosey.
  64.
  65. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  66.
  67. Sleep comes easy after you feel accomplished and this entire week I'd gotten shit done. Things were going smoothly with Nat, June(after much pleading for man's attire) gave me the perfect outfit for my date this Saturday, Charles let me off of my girl-dressing obligations for the week-end, I scanned and encrypted my stash into my computer, and I haven't seen the student council president since Tuesday.
  68.
  69. So I woke up this Saturday feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the world. I would have to brush my teeth first though-
  70.
  71.
  72. “Okay, I was wrong. This is really really boring. Skip to were you to meet each other.”
  73.
  74. “Really? Because I was about to go into great detail about the brands of tooth-paste I've used and why electric brushes are clearly Superior.”
  75.
  76. Smart-ass kids. I ask for the whole story, expecting some sit-com set up and he gives me a lecture on dental care. Are high-school kids getting boring?
  77.
  78. “I can take over from here Neil.”
  79.
  80. “Please save me Nat. The scary pretty boy looks like he might slap me like he would his best hoe.”
  81.
  82. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  83.
  84. I was nervous about dating Nelson(Neil) at first.
  85.
  86. He was a loner as far as I could tell. Never really talked to anyone, he would keep to himself all the time. Which is why I was surprised to see him walking into the Drama lecture hall with a chip on his shoulder and a part in the play under his wing. We shared a moment while I was grooming his body and then he just asked me out on a date, without a lick of hesitation. So I figured: Why the hell not? He doesn't seem to mind the fact that half of my body resembles a crab, or that I got him off with my navel.
  87.
  88. We'd talked during the week too, to make sure he wasn't out to kill me or anything. He was incredibly in-formal, Refreshingly so. Most guys usually go though this whole awkward phase when courting extra-species despite the fact that they've been fucked by them for a little over two years. Neil, on the other hand, was a steam-roller. If he wanted to ask something: he would, if something was making him uncomfortable: he would say it, If he thought I looked pretty today,: he would...
  89.
  90. Not that he was perfect or anything. All that honesty he displayed made him clash with people. I tried a couple of times to get him involved with my friends and he rejected those situations entirely. He could walk out on anything, people, situations, even blessings if his pride demanded it.
  91.
  92. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  93.
  94. “So after we meet up on the corner of-”
  95.
  96. “Oh no, you aren’t getting away with that.”
  97.
  98. “With what?”
  99.
  100. “Your dressed for a date and that guy looks like the remains of someone who was dressed for a date. And a meeting on that street? What did you feel when you first saw him?”
  101.
  102. “Were not dating anymore...”
  103.
  104. Kelly's spirit dropped like a rock, as if his morale could have sunk any lower. The only thing he liked more then his duty and getting laid was watching budding romances. This was not his day. He waved his hand at Nat, signaling for her to continue.
  105.
  106. “...But he was very handsome...”
  107.
  108. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  109.
  110. Neil came 3 minutes late as he had planned previous. The outside observer would call this behavior obsessive. To Neil, it was essential.
  111.
  112. They were both stunned by each other.
  113.
  114. Neil would be drawn to her shoulder-less blouse and frilly sleeves that bagged up around the wrists, as well as the bow wrapped around her left leg. Something was attracting about those crab legs, but Neil could hardly pin down what.
  115.
  116. Nat would notice how athletic and powerful Neil's legs looked and how the shirt showed off a teasing amount of neck.
  117.
  118.
  119. “Who's idea was it to swim in the lake?”
  120.
  121. Kelly felt that he was strong enough to continue after hearing about a youthful encounter and the fluttering butterfly’s in their stomachs. Even if those same butterfly’s lie dead before him, at least they flew at some point.
  122.
  123. “Nat's”
  124.
  125. “Mine”
  126.
  127. The two broke into a sincere laugh as they both answered at the same time, maybe a relationship was just the cocoon for them? Perhaps what was dead is just changing?
  128.
  129. They say insects continue to twitch even after they die.
  130.
  131. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  132.
  133. “It's been awhile since I’ve come here.”
  134.
  135. Beach side of our Fair City, a wonderful place to visit on the weekend. Monsters took to the idea of swim suits pretty easily and treated it like even more of a competition than human girls did. Not every Monster is bathing suit material though, but they try, oh do they try. All I'll say is that their have been some worthy additions to the stash.
  136.
  137. I haven't been to this place in years, not since I was in middle school, With good reason: the competition. Think about it, everyone's already half-naked and most of the guys are probably hanging at half-staff. if you come here without a family member or a date you are screwed both literally and metaphorically. Our Fair City beach, a wonderful, weird, exotic, and dangerous place.
  138.
  139. “Getting cold feet? Didn't prepare for swim-suit season?”
  140.
  141. “Of course not, do you know how many times I’ve been naked in pub-ub-ub.”
  142.
  143. Nat had taken of her blouse during my explanation. She was wearing traditional Cancer attire as a swim suit. A simple bra-like piece of clothing that had no strap on the front connecting the two cups. Rather, though some insidious technique of clothing the bra was able to support itself by wrapping around her back.
  144.
  145. “Gawking now?”
  146.
  147. “Modernist be damned, there's something to be said for the classics.”
  148.
  149. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  150.
  151. “How did you find this place?”
  152.
  153. “Lucky guess.”
  154.
  155. The Beach was war, as it always was. Not that I really expected anything different, I've been out there a few times myself. Neil noticed it wasn't the ideal romantic location, so he brought me out on the water and found this place somehow.
  156.
  157. I sort of wanted Neil to get hit on by other girls though, just to see what he would do. I'd become a bit afraid when he told me about his interaction with the Council President. It makes me feel really stupid, we hadn't even started dating and I already wanted him all to myself. My Mom always told me this would happen when I started dating. “Instincts Natalie” she'd always say, something I’d have to make compromises with. Like how humans have to deal with constant Fight or Flight reactions that occur naturally around monsters.
  158.
  159. “Ah here we are.”
  160.
  161. Neil stopped at a small cove and set himself down. He patted his lap, motioning me to come over to him.
  162.
  163. “What are you trying to say?”
  164.
  165. “Have you ever gotten to sit in someones lap before?”
  166.
  167. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  168.
  169. “Really you two are going to give me diabetes at this rate.”
  170.
  171. I don't wanna know why these two broke up. I think I’ll just ask them to skip over that part. Because inviting a crab girl onto your lap like that has to be one of the sweetest things I've ever heard.
  172.
  173. I heard a crash behind me as the door swung open and my partner steeped out.
  174.
  175. “Rick, What have I told you about barging in on my questioning sessions?”
  176.
  177. “What have I told you about using them to restore your faith in love?”
  178.
  179. Rick, my partner, towered above the normal man and it took a panel of decryption experts to ascertain his emotional state.
  180.
  181. “I missed out on cuddles today Rick. Please, just let me have this.”
  182.
  183. “I haven't seen my wife and children for a week.”
  184.
  185. Rick's mouth moved up a bit after these words: “Kelly, I am literally the least stable human being on the face of this earth. I haven't been apart from my family this long since the scales disaster. Please comfort me.”.
  186.
  187. I hugged Rick's sizable frame in the most brotherly manner possible. He placed a lone hand and patted me on the shoulder. Three new voice entered the room.
  188.
  189. “I don't know whether this is totally erotic or just sad.”
  190.
  191. “Is this what the police force is like in Ark?”
  192.
  193. “Maybe their just really good friends?”
  194.
  195. The bat, imp, and bunny girl respectively all walked into the room and took seats adjacent from the other two.
  196.
  197. “Oh hey it's you guys.”
  198.
  199. “Hey, it's Natalie and her date. You remember all our names there Nelly?”
  200.
  201. The Bat spoke to the Neil in an almost teasing manner. I don't think those three are on the best of terms.
  202.
  203. “B Juno, I Justice, Bun Doris, Served and smashed.”
  204.
  205. “Looks like Nelly here knows some memetics, ehh girls?” Juno started
  206.
  207. “Kinda creepy he classified us by species and not our shining personalities.” Justice responded
  208.
  209. “Thanks for not teasing me.” Finished Doris
  210.
  211. “If you three keep talking like that their gonna put you away for conspiracy.” Nat insulated
  212.
  213. “It's not like it doesn't happen naturally. What you two in for anyway? Did you and Nelly have to much fun or something?” Juno continued
  214.
  215. “We kinda broke up Juno” Neil spoke, crushing me yet again under the weight of the cruel world.
  216.
  217. I slammed my hands against the table eying everyone in the room.
  218.
  219. “This is about the ruckus in central square!”
  220.
  221. I pointed to Neil.
  222.
  223. “And he is our only lead at the moment. Were tracking his movements throughout the day and checking his alibi. So if you three would kindly tell us what happened during their dinner it would please me greatly!”
  224.
  225. “Gez this guy looks frustrated and our police really this noesy?”
  226.
  227. You don't know the half of it sister.
  228.
  229. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  230.
  231. It was a pretty routine day for me and my gang of waiters: Doris and Justice. We three did a lot of things girls did a lot of things together, Socializing at school, Joining clubs, and yeah the entrapment of the supposedly weaker sex(Surprisingly harder then Cosmo makes it out to be).
  232.
  233. The little store we all worked for has a secret though, it's for testing boyfriends. Turns out some guys just wanted girls to save them from rape nowadays. Our job was to test if they were really interested in their date or only her potential as a repellent. It was the perfect job for us three and our perfect teamwork.
  234. Our client tonight was someone special, Natalie or how she had come to refer to herself: Nat. Nat was our good friend, our really good friend. Have you ever seen a cancer use all of her hands to cut hair? It was freaking magical. Any guy who wanted in on that was gonna have to go though us.
  235.
  236. He didn't look to promising, Neil I think his name was. Nat had tried to introduce us on several occasions, but this Neil character was slippery. Always like he had something urgent to do. I never even knew this guy existed before and suddenly he's apart of the powerhouse that is Drama Club? Noway is he normal.
  237.
  238. “Hey Juno, their seated now.”
  239.
  240. “Perfect Doris, I think it's time we finally take the gloves off.”
  241.
  242. Certain identity we called it, the onslaught that would prove this man a true lover or a user. First I would go out and warm up the customers with my winning personality, Then Justice would go out and put on the charm to wear him down, finally Doris would go out all sweet acting and lure the man into a false sense of security before she sealed his fate. Few have survived.
  243.
  244. “Good evening masters, my name is Juno and I’ll be serving you today!”
  245.
  246. Maid night, couldn't ask for a better opportunity.
  247.
  248. “Would you like to order any drinks? Or are you two ready to order food?”
  249.
  250. “I think were both ready. I’ll be taking the crab special.”
  251.
  252. “Neil!”
  253.
  254. “Aww, It looked good to. Maybe for desert then...”
  255.
  256. “Waiter do you serve jerk chicken here?”
  257.
  258. “Actually, I change my mind. Waiter could you get me some seagull? But make sure you boil it alive and lop of it's head with some sheers.”
  259.
  260. Too much, these two were to much. I can't handle this. Justice will have to pick up the slack.
  261.
  262. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  263.
  264. I already took the position of waiter, so Justice and Doris would just have to find an excuse to get near them. Thankfully Justice managed to swipe the guys wallet.
  265.
  266. There she is now at the table. Ahh yea, work dem Lolita hips girl. Wait, is he arguing with her? Fuck, Justice just cut to plan B and see if you can just use charm magic on him. WHAT? Why are you just walking away?!
  267.
  268. “Justice?”
  269.
  270. “He's infallible Juno. The wallets fake, a dud he planted on himself to throw people off. Charm magic doesn't do shit to him either. He's got some mad resistance, so please don't be mad at me.”
  271.
  272. “No, I wont get mad. We still have our secret weapon.”
  273.
  274. “Oh that's right.” Justice said in a sultry tone
  275.
  276. “It's time for the clumsy maid.”
  277.
  278. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  279.
  280. Doris was making her way to the couples table with a shit-ton of food that nobody ordered. She began to slip just as she passed the sitting Neil.
  281.
  282. Neil took a moment to take in the situation. He saw the ludicrous amount of falling food and knew a lost cause when he saw one. The girl could still be saved from dirtying herself in it. Moving out of his seat, he caught the girl in his arms french dip style.
  283.
  284. “Checkmate” Juno thought to herself. “Nothing was more indicative then catching a cute, awkward girl dressed in a maid costume in front of your date. He was probably all caught up in the moment here.”
  285.
  286. But Neil simply put the girl back on her feet and made sure she was okay. Asking her if she needed any help, then returning to his date, giving her his full attention.
  287.
  288. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  289.
  290. “Holy shit. Are you telling me he beat the entrapment restaurant? And is that why I always see waiters walking by with food that I think is mine, but really it's just for a nefarious plot?”
  291.
  292. “Yea he really got us. We also prefer the name “Gauntlet Restaurant”. En 'trap' meant implies another service we don't exactly provide. Also, your just impatient and that's why we spit in your food.”
  293.
  294. I'd ushered Neil and Nat out of the room so these three could give me a complete and honest testimony and also because I didn't want to get any more depressed by the no-longer-a-couple people. God it was worth it, this shit is gold. Even Rick's mouth was giving a little twitch: “Kelly I feel your pain now, truly a man and woman who can overcome these three's plan deserved to be together.”
  295.
  296. “Well might as well cut to the important stuff now. You three are free to go. Rick, Call just Neil back in here. Oh, and Juno?”
  297.
  298. “Yes officer?”
  299.
  300. “You know it's illegal to spit in food, aphrodisiacs and all?”
  301.
  302. “Yes...”
  303.
  304. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  305.
  306. I actually wasn’t all that upset about the break-up. Mainly because both of us agreed we could talk it out later and just enjoy the rest of the day. That meant dancing in central square on a Saturday night. Course I was gonna have to pick another dance that didn't imply eternal cultural courtship. Platonic dancing could actually be a very enjoyable activity. We just had to put the day and our relationship behind us.
  307.
  308. Tragedy struck when we entered central square. I got pushed by the crowd into an Apophis' transport cart. It was her weekly shipment and was loaded with aphrodisiacs. The square was covered in seconds.
  309.
  310. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  311.
  312. “I'm gonna have to stop you right there.”
  313.
  314. “Don't believe me?”
  315.
  316. “No I want collaborate the rest of your testimony with someone else who was on the scene.”
  317.
  318. “Who else could possibly in their right minds give-”
  319.
  320. The door opened. It was Lily. You've got to be joking.
  321.
  322. “I'll take it from here my little slave.”
  323.
  324. “Yes mistress.”
  325.
  326. Oh you really have got to be shitting me.
  327.
  328. “Shall I tie him down for you?”
  329.
  330. “No. I'd rather see him squirm in other ways before I break him.”
  331.
  332. “And then, will you?”
  333.
  334. “I wouldn’t leave any of my livestock unsatisfied would I?”
  335.
  336. Not putting up with this shit. Not today. Not ever. Standing up from my chair I whipped my sitting implement around and slammed it on the table.
  337.
  338. “I warn you two, I’ve tamed lions before.”
  339.
  340. Both of them paused before breaking out into hysterical laughter.
  341.
  342. “Did you see his face Kelly? That was real killing intent!”
  343.
  344. “Good to know you haven't gotten boring Lily.”
  345.
  346. It was a joke. Of course it was. I mean, breaking a officer of the law? Impossible.
  347.
  348. “But I will need a few moments to talk to your suspect here Kelly, if you could.”
  349.
  350. “Yea sure. Hey Rick! Help me clean out all of these freaking chairs!”
  351.
  352. Rick and Kelly cleared the room in record time leaving only me and my chair left. Lily took a seat on my lap.
  353.
  354. “Of course.”
  355.
  356. “Succubi custom. You wouldn’t want to be rude would you?”
  357.
  358. “Customs founded on seducing men being used in due process. No, I wouldn’t want to offend anyone.”
  359.
  360. “Due-process built on hunting witches and burning heretics at the pyre.”
  361.
  362. “You might have a case if they weren't right half the time. How the hell are you involved in this anyway?”
  363.
  364. “I was out dress shopping if you must know.”
  365.
  366. “At this time of night?”
  367.
  368. “I've to much duty to do it any other time.”
  369.
  370. “And let me guess, the reason your here is that the student council president has to aid in all the investigations involving students.”
  371.
  372. “Correct and I know Kelly from the time I lived in Arken.”
  373.
  374. “Arc?”
  375.
  376. “Arcken.”
  377.
  378. “Now your just screwing with me.”
  379.
  380. “That's no way to talk to someone speaking on your behalf.”
  381.
  382. I wrapped my arms around her waist and scooted her closer.
  383.
  384. “Wha-”
  385.
  386. “Wouldn't want to be rude would I? Now if we could discuss the events of this evening...”
  387.
  388. “Of course.” She recovered, wrapping her slender tail around my waist.
  389.
  390. “Where should we start?”
  391.

  393.
  394. I didn't have much time to think when the smoke went down. All I knew is that I wanted to give poor Nat a way out of this. I yelled at her to run, but the crowd was moving to frantically for her larger lower body to escape. I was going to have to make a diversion.
  395.
  396. Sighting the highest building, I began making my way toward the Towering Tanuki's(seller of exotic foods and spices). Scaling it from the outside took some leg-work and clever tricks, but I eventually made my way to the top.
  397.
  398. Staring down on the masses who were struggling to contain their own libido I took in a big breath. Channeling the guile of all the old warriors stubborn power I yelled out into the crowed.
  399.
  400. “Oh confused masses! Lend me your ears! For it is the duty of all sentient creatures to deny themselves. Man, Woman, and monster! This is something we hold common, our cross that we all bear! For if we cannot lie to ourselves, then we are nothing! Dust in the wind! Sentience is our ability to deny this tragedy! But if you would find your wills wanting! Your hearts, waning in the winds of chaos around you, then come at me! That mine will we become your own and you may reclaim your heart.”
  401.
  402. Tearing off my shirt I eyed the crowd.
  403.
  404. “COME AT ME!”
  405.
  406. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  407.
  408. “So you put herself atop a small building and reenacted history to put yourself in the center of a riot just so you could save the girl that broke up with you?”
  409.
  410. “Yeah that's basically it.”
  411.
  412. “Lily?”
  413.
  414. “He's telling the truth.”
  415.
  416. Kids, they do the stupidest, most amazing things. I still have nothing to go on though. Thank hell I at least get a story to tell from all this.
  417.
  418. “Just one last thing, why is she on your lap?”
  419.
  420. “Succubi custom?”
  421.
  422. “There's no such thing.”
  423.
  424. Neil went from hugging Lily to pushing her onto the floor.
  425.
  426. “Hey!”
  427.
  428. “Am I free to go officer?”
  429.
  430. “Yea, we'll call you if we need anything else.”
  431.
  432. Neil took his leave from the interrogation chamber showing little regard to the woman he pushed off of his lap.
  433.
  434. “Seriously Kelly?”
  435.
  436. I just gave her a snort and a coy smile.
  437.
  438. “Love is war and some of us just want to watch the world burn.”
  439.
  440. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  441.
  442. It took a couple of excuses to get the guys(Nat, Juno, Justice(juice), and Doris: all female) to wait for me at the bus stop, but their was something I had to do. Loose ends of rope are best burned shut.
  443.
  444. “President.”
  445.
  446. “Hmm? And what might you want?”
  447.
  448. I'd caught Lily on her way home.
  449.
  450. “You to stop following me, it's bothersome.”
  451.
  452. “I've been doing no such thing.”
  453.
  454. Did I ever say that I love detective games? The ones were you have to call people out on their bullshit even though it seems like their telling the entire truth.
  455.
  456. “You were following us the entire day.”
  457.
  458. “Aren't you just getting to obsessed with me then? Coming up with such far fetched theories. I suppose your going to accuse me for what happened in the square to.”
  459.
  460. Mixing in little truths to throw me off. Masterful.
  461.
  462. “Dress shopping and work are your alibis. Both of them are wrong. Your the type of person to get all of her work done on a Friday. As for the dresses, you wouldn't spend time on such a trivial matter would you?”
  463.
  464. “A girls beauty is her pride. Regardless of her position.”
  465.
  466. “I'll rephrase the question. You wouldn't shop at clothing stores when you could just as easily get clothing from contacts in drama club.”
  467.
  468. She flinched. Nailed her.
  469.
  470. “You can't prove that.”
  471.
  472. “Your right, I can't. I really don't have to either. Because we both know what you did. This is a flat-out rejection. Lily, please leave me alone. That incident at the tree? Me brushing your hair out of your face? the hug earlier? They were an act. Nothing more.”
  473.
  474. I flicked her forehead, lighting the tight expression she was wearing.
  475.
  476. “Au revoir mon petite nuisance.”
  477.
  478. ***************************************************************************************************************************************
  479.
  480. I got home without incident. I was meet with a worried sister and even more worried parent after I told her the result of my date. “I want to sleep on it” I kept telling both of them, staving off their worries and comfort.
  481.
  482. What was waiting in my room made me wish I'd let them smother me.
  483.
  484. “You.”
  485.
  486. “Me.”
  487.
  488. The Kitsune sitting on my bed gave a large, sinister grin. She was adjourned in what appeared to be a slutty shrine maiden’s dress. Like a formal outfit just with Low-cut skirt and white thigh-high socks. Her traditional Geta sandals flopped around as she playfully kicked her feet from the bed.
  489.
  490. Oh yea, this is definitely a trap.
  491.
  492. “Get out.”
  493.
  494. “Don't you want to talk a little? We haven't seen each other in so long. Maybe we could even bury the hatchet?”
  495.
  496. Everything she said was in a seductive tone. I wasn't having any of it. Felt like burying good coffee in creamer and sugar.
  497.
  498. “I put that rusty thing away years ago and you know what I discovered? I felt nothing for you. That hatchet was my feelings for you in their entirety. So please, I’m sure you know where the doors located.”
  499.
  500. I could see her face twitch only slightly. She wasn't expecting me to come out swinging was she?
  501.
  502. “Tell your seven little servants to go with you. I'm in no mood for it today.”
  503.
  504. “Seven? How do you reckon?”
  505.
  506. “The cop who brought us in suspected Cats, the teleporting, invisible variety. I know the place you moved to has way more then we do down here and you would need five to pull of the stunt in the square, because that smoke spread way to quickly and evenly to be from just a few canisters. The other two were for insurance.
  507.
  508. “Were figured out ladies, come on out.”
  509.
  510. Seven Cats appeared in my room. And I jutted out a finger to an empty space on the wall.
  511.
  512. “Her too.”
  513.
  514. With a whine, an eighth cat appeared. Figured. Always bring a contingency plus one.
  515.
  516. “Now, bitches leave.”
  517.
  518. The eight cats gave a group sigh and departed the premise, probably all from the same family given the resemblance. I gave another stern look to Mary.
  519.
  520. “What?”
  521.
  522. “I said-”
  523.
  524. “I know what you said and I’m staying.”
  525.
  526. The Kitsune gave her own defiant look. Did she want to run this incident all the way into Sunday morning?
  527.
  528. “What were you planning on doing? Was this all to spite me? Did you bring all your little helpers here in an attempt to get black-mail pictures or something?”
  529.
  530. “Why do you always jump the the conclusion that I'm some kind of criminal master-mind? It was for fun alright? A little bit of fun to celebrate.”
  531.
  532. “Celebrate what?”
  533. “I'm moving in and transferring to your school.”
  534.
  535. “And what? You decide to throw half the town into a ruckus with me in the cross-fire? And then you come here to continue in pestering me?”
  536.
  537. “Your pretty angry for having a cute girl visit you at these hours.”
  538.
  539. “I had a date with someone much cuter today.”
  540.
  541. “Did I ruin your little date or something?”
  542.
  543. “No, we did a pretty good job of doing that ourselves. Now leave or I call the cops.”
  544.
  545. “Whats with you? You use to love stuff like this.”
  546.
  547. “I don't know how delusional you are and I frankly don't care. This is the last time I'll tell you: Leave.”
  548.
  549. “No.”
  550.
  551. Years had prepared me for this moment. You see it happen in every action movie known to man, the sexy woman get's to close in a conversation and the man doesn't do shit about it. She then takes advantage of his ignorance and plants a knife in him, kicks him off a bridge, takes the precious artifact, and probably marries his best friend.
  552.
  553. So when she got closer to me, I turned her around and pinned her on the bed.
  554.
  555. “I already had to give this speech once today and I'd rather not give it again. Your poison to me, please leave and never bother me again.”
  556.
  557. “Aren't we all lively tonight.”
  558.
  559. “Hey Mom, didn't see you there.”
  560.
  561. “I couldn't help but notice the small company of Cheshire leaving your household, but you seem to be handling the situation well. Oh, and if Mary hasn't told you yet, she'll be staying in your house from now on. I know it's sudden, but her previous arrangements fell though. Well I’ll let you get back to it!”
  562.
  563. Mom departed just as quickly as she arrived and I got off Mary just as quickly as I had laid her down.
  564.
  565. “So do you want to sleep in a futon or should I clear out so you can have my bed.”
  566.
  567. “Seriously? Your mom pops in and gives her approval and your suddenly okay with the situation?”
  568.
  569. “Do you not remember anything about me? My dear, sweet, mother gives me guidance and the occasional home cooked meal and in return I do what little petty tasks she asks of me.”
  570.
  571. “So I’m just some petty task to you now?”
  572.
  573. “I don't really have time for this, I’ll sleep on the futon tonight. I had Emma wash those sheets with her's today, so they should be fine for you to sleep with.”
  574.
  575. “Wait.”
  576.
  577. I felt a light tug on the back of what remained of my shirt.
  578.
  579. “Sleep with me tonight.”
  580.
  581. I Wheeled around to face her. She looked absolutely tarnished, on the verge of tears even. I thought I was the one learning how to act.
  582.
  583. Putting my hands on her shoulders I let her have it.
  584.
  585. “You try to put me into a situation were I could have been horribly raped and fail, you try to use your minions in a contingency plan and fail, now your trying to nail me with the 'innocent girl feelings' act and your going to fail.”
  586.
  587. Her act only intensified at this, I could see tears welling in her eyes. Part of me felt obligated to soothe her, if only slightly.
  588.
  589. “I dumped someone today and I’m not using you as a rebound.”
  590.
  591. With that I left my room and went down to my futon. I slept like a baby.
