Jade so thirsty

Alexithymiaa: -Adam sat on the couch in the living room with his laptop in front of him, his eyes set on the screen of the computer despite the fact that the tv was on also. Lady was stretched out beside him, her nose pressed against his leg because she wanted to be closer, but laptop was in her way. // Jade laid across the opposite end of the couch, the remote for the tv in her hand as she casually flipped through the channels looking for something to watch. She had a throw pillow propped behind her head so she was more comfortable, rolling her eyes at the lack of selection for a Tuesday night on basic cable.-
Tsaaq: Hayley walked into the house and shut the door behind her quietly. She spotted the two on the couch and stared a moment before going towards the stairs. "Hey." She said in a small voice.
Alexithymiaa: -Adam turned his head to look over at Hayley when she appeared on the other side of him, sending her an easy smile. "Hey Halo. How are you?" // Jade turned her head on the pillow to look over at Hayley, not saying anything and resuming her transe in the tv.-
Tsaaq: She stopped in her tracks and walked back over to the couch. "I'm okay..." She trailed off. "Just went for a walk or whatever. It was dumb." She replied then looked over at his laptop. "What are you doing?"
Alexithymiaa: "Oh. You should have taken Lady. I think I've been boring her." He let out a short laugh, dropping his hand over the dog's head to give it a rub. "I was just looking up how much it would cost for Gabe to fly out here for a week. I know things have been tight for him lately, but my moms offered to surprise him with a ticket if I priced things out for them." // Jade sat up from her horizontal position, twisting to look over at the two of them. "Gabe? Like, your brother? He's coming here?" She asked, clearly interested.-
Tsaaq: "Shit." She muttered, realizing that would've at least been useful. "Aw, that sounds cute." Hayley said with a small smile finding her lips. "I haven't seen him in a while-" She began to say. She jumped a little as Jade spoke, she put her hand on her chest in incredulousness.
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, my brother. He's pretty cool. I think you'll like him. But don't worry, he'll stay in my room and he won't get in anyone's way. He's not at all intrusive." He nodded to Jade before turning back to Hayley. "Yeah, he's been working a lot so he hasnt had the time to come out to visit in a while." // Jade smiled at the prospect of another male coming into the house for a little while, sitting up further so she could listen to the conversation.-
Tsaaq: Hayley skeptically lowered her hand and stopped looking at Jade then turned to Adam. "Yeah, I figured. Adulting." She nodded her head as she spoke in a monotone. "Well... I guess I can help look for shit if you need?" She offered.
Alexithymiaa: "You can try if you want. I've been looking at a few websites that are supposed to be good at comparing airline prices. I don't know why they don't just make one that combines all of them together." He shrugged, looking back down at his computer. // Jade watched the two, chewing on her lower lip. "If you need anything... I can help too. I'm not really doing anything..."-
Tsaaq: "You have to delete cookies." Hayley said, looking up at the stairs and groaning. "My computer is too far away." She whined as she went to sit beside Adam and backseat computer-things. "You haven't tried using google?" She asked him before looking to Jade, darting her eyes before she turned to Adam.
Alexithymiaa: "How do you think I found these airline websites?" He asked her, watching the screen as he scrolled through the available flights from different airlines. "I think we're okay. But thank you for the offer, Jade." // Jade nodded her head slowly, shifting on the couch and just watching them.-
Tsaaq: She laugehd a little as she leaned on his shoulder. "Hmm." She hummed before shrugging. "But did you delete cookies! The prices are just gonna go up if you keep looking around if you don't." Hayley poked his arm a moment.
Alexithymiaa: "How is that even a thing?" He asked, going into his web options to delete his cookies since she was just going to keep poking him until he did it. // "Well the websites track your internet usage with your cookies so they can charge you more..." She spoke in a small voice, trying to be a part of their thing. You're not a part of their thing.-
Tsaaq: Hayley opened her mouth to start speaking before Jade answered. "Yeah. That." Hayley whispered awkwardly. And he was right. She did stop poking when he did it. "Okay, now... Let's do some searching." she said.
Alexithymiaa: "Here." He lifted the laptop off his lap, pushing it over into Hayley's. "You do it and I'll watch you. How about that? Since you're such a little expert at it." He smiled, slipping his arm around her shoulders before looking to Jade. "Oh, thank you." // Jade nodded her head, fidgeting in her seat because she didnt know how to be more part of the conversation. "So uh... have you guys seen Felix? I havent seen him in a couple days."-
Tsaaq: "Better." Hayley said in a monotone before sticking her tongue out at him. Her fingers sped across the keyboard and she scrolled pages hurriedly. Hayley didn't look up from the computer screen. "Uh... I guess I haven't seen him." She replied, since truthfully she didn't really talk to anybody in the house if she didn't have to. Cause Thad was probably lurking places.
Alexithymiaa: "Oh, yeah I havent really seen him since yesterday morning. He was loading a bunch of stuff into his Jeep when I left so I guess he was taking a trip." He gave a little shrug, his eyes returning to the screen. // "Oh..." She chewed on her lower lip, pulling her phone from her pocket to look down at the screen.-
Tsaaq: "I think I found some good prices." Hayley told Adam before biting her lip. "He probably is on a trip. It's summer. No big deal." She shrugged her shoulders.
Alexithymiaa: "Save whatever you find so I can send it to my moms. Theyre going to buy the ticket." He nodded. // "Yeah..." She trailed off, frowning into her phone.-
Tsaaq: Hayley nodded her head. "You got it mister." She said before saving the pages, she then proceeded to do other shit on his laptop while they sat there.
Alexithymiaa: -He leaned his head over to give her a quick peck on the cheek, his eyes scanning the page she was on. "What are you doing?" // Jade pursed her lips, pushing up from the couch without another word to step by them, heading down the hallway to her bedroom.-
Tsaaq: She giggled a moment then looked up from the computer. "Looking up pictures of baby animals..." She replied quietly, craning her head down the hall as Jade walked away.
Alexithymiaa: "Why....?" He asked with a bit of a high pitch in his voice because he was now all of a sudden scared that he was going to come home to baby raccoons in the house or some shit.-
Tsaaq: "I don't know... When I'm sad I look at the pictures to make myself feel better." She shruged her shoulders, looking embarrassed.
Alexithymiaa: "You're sad?" He asked, his face softening as he moved his hand to her forearm, watching her eyes.-
Tsaaq: Hayley pressed her lips together and shrugged her shoulders. "I'll be okay." She smiled up at him. "Don't worry."
Alexithymiaa: "Here, come on." He took the laptop from her and pushed it closed, setting it aside and climbing up to his feet to hold his hands out toward her. "Let's get a good nights sleep and we can look at more baby animals in the morning. How about that?"-
Tsaaq: She nodded her head as she stood up and took his hand. "Okay." Hayley smiled, squeezing his hand as she went to lead the way upstairs. "That sounds good to me." She said, moving up the steps and to the second level for sleeps.
Alexithymiaa: -He grabbed his computer on his way, calling for Lady to follow him as he went up the stairs with Hayley for all the sleeps.-
