PC-98 Touhou English

How to transfer save files from PC-98 Games

1) Download "EditDisk"
2) Using EditDisk, open the HDI files of the games which have the save files that you want
3) Select "Anex 86 HDD" when opening the HDI files
4) Extract the following files from the HDI files:

[Highly Responsive to Prayer]
- REIIDEN.CFG
- REYHIES.DAT (Easy Difficulty File)
- REYHINO.DAT (Normal Difficulty File)
- REYHIHA.DAT (Hard Difficulty File)
- REYHILU.DAT (Lunatic Difficulty File)

[Story of Eastern Wonderland]
- HUUHI.DAT
- HUUMA.CFG

[Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream]
- YUME.CFG
- YUME.NEM

[Lotus Land Story]
- GENSOU.SCR
- MIKO.CFG

[Mystic Square]
- GENSOU.SCR
- MIKO.CFG

5) Extract these files into different folders for easy classification
(i.e. "Highly Responsive to Prayer" files extracted to "TH01" folder)
This will make your life easier for Lotus Land Story and Mystic Square, trust me

6) Open "PC-98 Touhou (English).hdi"
7) Go to "TH01"
8) Import the "Highly Responsive to Prayer" files
9) Go to "TH02"
10) Import the "Story of Eastern Wonderland" files
11) Go to "TH03"
12) Import the "Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream" files
13) Go to "TH04"
14) Import the "Lotus Land Story" files
15) Go to "TH05"
16) Import the "Mystic Square" files
17) Close EditDisk
18) Run "np21nt.exe"
19) Select "PC-98 Touhou (English).hdi"
20) Play!
