  10. Darejan was born and raised in Chernovtsi, Ukraine by Oksana Raevskaya and Genadi Lakhyta. His mother was running a sewing and clothing store down the corner and his father was mostly involved into entrepreneuring in general, but other than that, he was involved in shady deals with big corporations, he had ties with the Armenian mob that distributed products all around Ukraine through a tunnel. While still under communism, Darejan didn't have any hard childhood, he grew up relatively good in both money wise and living conditions wise, since both of his parents had a moderate income to raise their only child. As time passed, Darejan was an average student at school, he was somewhat studying every now and then, and didn't go around causing trouble. By the age of 16, when he started graduating in a the local senior high school, he quickly began losing control of what he could do with the money being offered. Petty spendings every here and there like cigarettes and alcoholic products as a way of entertainment with his friends, purchase and consumption of marijuana, and all that on a relatively daily basis. He had disregarded his education entirely, while his parents were beginning to go through some rough arguements, which ultimately led Darejan to the unwise spending here and there. His mother understood that Ighor was having shady deals with the Mob, and she didn't want to continue this life of living with a "criminal". Darejan, on the other hand, acknowledged the shortage on money that was handed to him at that time, so he moved into the petty crimes, such as supermarket theft, vandalism, and more rarely so, break ins. He had formed a small group, as if they were an underaged gang that goes around and does petty crimes, but as soon as he graduated off from school, his mother took him and went far, far away form his father and avoided any involvement with him. She decided to spend the rest of their time in Greece, while they settle there and finance themselves economically. That's when Darejan had dropped the "illegal", so to call it, way of life. That's when he became a normal, civilized citizen, with a normal income, a shabby but good apartment, but his only difficulty was learning the language, in which he pretty much had to learn it in order to live in Greece and have an income for himself and his mother, so they both began learning the language. It took them about a year to pretty much get ahold of the language, but when the weather was starting to get better, and the tourism in Greece is great, they saw that as an opportunity to make a buck from the islands, most notably the hotels within those islands that required English and Russian knowledge, which were both really appreciated. Summer came, both went into a hotel in Zakynthos, and spend their summer working their asses off for the rest of it. They were offered a place to stay in Zakynthos, and even work for the winter, which they both of course accepted and remained there. By the age of 21, Darejan was living a normal life with his mother Oksana, and they both moved out of any involvement with Darejan's father. Now, the following two years were the same. Both went over to the same hotel, worked the two summers off and made an income. In the meantime, though, Darejan's mother had hooked up with another man, who was a coworker of hers. A greek guy that goes by the name of Avgustos, who basically helped the duo live by for the rest two years. At the age of 23, though, Darejan seeked a way out of Greece as a kind of vacation of some sort, and went over to San Andreas, as he seemed to really enjoy the place. He booked a flight for it the following day after his decision, filed in his resignation over at work, and of course was told to come back to it whenever he wished, packed his suitcases up and went over to San Andreas.
