These are lists of games I own and want to play.
I don't know how this paste got so many page views, but okay.

*** Games I'm playing: ***

Project Alternating
2024 will see alternate between console and PC gaming as to not burn myself out.
The ratio is roughly 1 PC:2 console, with the exception being 1st season being all console.

Currently:
Assassin's Creed Valhalla:
Play as a viking and slay the man who long ago raided your village.
This is alright but there are dumb mechanics (stamina meter for one).
This game is easily the worst of the 'reinvented trilogy'.
Done: doing story quests and side content when I enter new areas.

* Final Fantasy IX speedrun: Will do a replay speedrun to get the Excalibur II gold trophy.
* Yakuza: Like a Dragon: A yakuza guy leaves prison with burning questions to solve.

GRID Legends: An alright racing game with floaty physics.
MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA: A fighting game that has too many systems and gets boring fast.
Humanity: A dumb puzzle game with annoying music.
Dreams: Takes too long to get started and gets boring quite fast.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition: A promising game ruined by dumb mechanics.
Call of the Sea: A pretty boring first-person exploration game.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim: A pretty good game but it's not my cup of tea. I may try again later.
The Forgotten City: So dull I'll now call it the The Forgotten Shitty (Game)
Paradise Killer: Boring and slow first-person detective game. Tries too hard and fails.
Session: Bare-bones Skate clone that with a horrible control scheme.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: It's good stuff but I might prefer the first game.
Rollerdome:	THPS meets action shooter. It's not bad but pretty repetitive.

PSN monthly games

January 2024:
A Plague Tale: Requiem: a pretty good sequel to a game I haven't played yet.
Evil West: cowboys + sci-fi action for a janky game that may be dumb fun.
Nobody Saves the World: a weird mix of Binding of Isaac and Link to the Past. Might be good.
	Overall: a decent start to the year, but with Sony tradition comes the following downfall.
	Verdict: C
	Renewed: No


February 2024:
Foamstars: seems like a fun Splatoon clone but it's not for me.
Rollerdrome: plays like THPS with guns. Definitely worth a try at least.
Steelrising: a Soulslike with robots. No thanks.
	Overall: another decent month. The quality hasn't fumbled yet.
	Verdict: C
	Renewed: No

March 2024:
SIFU: a pretty good beat-em-up that I lack the reflexes for,
F1 23: seems alright but I haven't been into F1 since the 90s.
Hello Neighbor 2: I've heard it's not as good as the first one, which I disliked.
 	Overall: a mixed bag of dung and urine. Not a very inspiring month.
	Verdict: C
	Renewed: No

April 2024:
Immortals of Aveum: an interesting game that may be good.
Minecraft Legends: an underwhelming game based on a franchise I don't care for.
Skul: The Hero Slayer: a 2D roguelike that looks good.
	Overall: an upswing in quality but still misses the ball.
	Verdict: C
	Renewed: No

May 2024:
EA Sports FC 24: the beautiful game has always been boring to play, so no thanks.
Ghostrunner 2: a good one that I may try some day.
Tunic: a cute interesting that is definitely the highlight of the month.
Destiny 2: Lightfall: an expansion for a game I don't care for.
	Overall: an alright month but it doesn't dispel the 'PS5 has no games' meme.
	Verdict: C
	Renewed: No
