- - 3 peppers (yellow, orange, red)
- - 1 onion
- - 2-3 cloves of garlic
- - 3 eggs
- - 16 saltine crackers
- - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon (maybe increase this?)
- - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme (maybe increase this?)
- - 1/2 cup ketchup
- - some nice mustard, not that bright yellow crap
- - 500g worth of ground meats (I used 250g turkey + 250g pork)
- - some brown sugar
- 1) Chop up the peppers, onion, garlic, thyme, and tarragon, and put them in a frying pan
- 2) Add some olive oil and fry them for a few minutes, enough to soften them up but not completely cook them
- 3) While that's going on, smash up the crackers in a bowl, then add your eggs and meat and mix them up well
- 4) Mix the stuff in the frying pan with the stuff in the bowl, then put it all in a baking dish
- 5) Put this in the oven at 180C (350F) for about 20 minutes
- 6) While that's baking, mix your ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar together
- 7) Take the dish out of the oven and mix it around a bit, some of the egg and fat will have coagulated so you want to spread it around a little. Then put it back into the oven for another 15 minutes or so
- 8) When that's done, take it out of the oven and cover the top with the ketchup/mustard/brown sugar sauce
- 9) Consume
