  1. Having swiftly dispensed the anomaly, I began to accustom to the new rules and laws.
  2.
  3. Eventually, another aberration appeared to me. I removed it as well. However, I began to grasp this realm's mechanics after doing so.
  4.
  5. Images and words began to present themselves to me. These creatures appeared in many of these, in varying colors, lengths, and shapes.
  6.
  7. Blocking out these hallucinations were futile. Flooding towards me, endlessly.
  8.
  9. It was here, that I began to piece together the realization of what is now known to me as three-dimensional space.
  10.
  11. More of this phenomenon would occur, spawning from where I previously encountered these creatures.
  12.
  13. I slunk away from this nest, and explored my environment.
  14. I was familiar with my new world in five minutes. I also took a safe, hidden nest to wait and observe, squeezing myself through a penetrable, solid surface. Touching still felt awkward and clumsy, as I attempted to uncover the differences between objects.
  15.
  16. Although I felt comfortable and secure, I knew better than to simply wean myself fat off of whichever hapless monstrosity lumbered my way.
  17.
  18. I slumbered in darkness, although the muteness of the now emptied universe panged me. Despair filled me, and as I would later find out, the lack of stimulation sent my form into a hellish limbo. Seconds passed as hours, and minutes as weeks. I would learn more of my limits within the coming days. The common cockroach crawling would accelerate mildly, but otherwise, agony proceeded on much like the shadowy universe.
  19.
  20. After another eternity, of mute, silent pain; my world brightened. Gold shined through the sky of my world, and I pushed myself out.
  21.
  22. I would need a method to cope with these freakish things.
  23.
  24. I discovered, near my home, a disguise. A facade, to pass myself off.
  25.
  26. Although it restricted my movement, it was now coming clear to me that some of this realm's animals were benevolent. I peered outside of my den, hoping to catch a glimpse of the world again, and was greeted by a mutual stare.
  27.
  28. The creature had stopped and pointed what were presumably it's eyes, towards me, and then continued on with it's task.
  29.
  30. I took a step outside, and realized that I was imitating these creature's shapes. Perhaps, I could blend in as one?
  31.
  32. It was time for me to find out.
