First Date (Epilogue) [Anon x Glimmer]

Epilogue:

> Be Starlight Glimmer
> And you messed up.
> Big time.
> Anon must think you are a lewd pony or something.
> You bury your head under your pillow.
> Maybe you should hide out the rest of the day in you room?
> Or would a week be better.
> Knock, knock.
> A dull knocking echoes out from you door.
> “Starlight? It’s me, Twilight. Is something wrong?”
> You hear twilights concern through the door.
“No, Twilight everything’s fine. I’m just feeling sick. Cough, cough”
> “…”
“…”
> “…”
> Admittedly that wasn’t the best act, but still.
> Twilight pauses at the door.
> You wait for her to leave.
> “If you aren’t feeling well then I’ll just send Anon away so you can get some rest.”
> WHAT!?
> “Anon, maybe you could talk to Starlight another time?”
> “No, I think she would be okay with seeing me right now.”
> Wait.
> WAITWAITWAIT!
> The door creaks open and a tall figure steps in.
> It’s Anon.
> He looks back and gestures towards Twilight.
> She nods and leaves the two of you alone.
“Anon…” You timidly call out.
> You pull the sheets up above your nose, as you peek out at the intruder.
> He steps forward.
> “Star –” He says as he takes another step.
> Your ears fall flat against your head as you hear your name.
> Anon continues.
> “I don’t know what that was all about back there but I just wanted to say that I enjoyed our date.”
> Your flat ears perk up upon hearing this.
> “You didn’t have to try so hard with all the physical contact. I mean, don’t get me wrong, making out with you was AMAZING –“You blush hard “—but if it’s going to make you feel bad afterwards then we shouldn’t do it.”
> You frown.
> ‘That’s not it, Anon…’
> Troubled thoughts make their way through your head.
> Your mind replays the day’s events and they only cause you to become more and more embarrassed.
> But Anon interrupts you.
> “I like you Starlight Glimmer. I want to be your special someone. And I want you to be mine.”
> You are left speechless.
> Things are silent in the room as the two of you stare at each other.
> Minutes tick by.
> Anon starts fidgeting uncomfortably as he waits for you to reply.
> Tears well up in your eyes.
> You make up your mind.
“I want to be your special somep0ny” You yell out as you dive towards Anon.
> You jump straight into Anons chest, holding onto him tight.
> He is taken aback by this and loses his balance.
> The two of you fall to the floor with a thud.
> Your hooves are wrapped tight around his waist as you bury your face into his chest.
> Tears fall down your cheeks, staining his shirt.
> Despite having the wind knocked out of him, Anon doesn’t say a word, instead he just holds you close and lets you cry.
> After a few minutes and a couple of sniffles later, you are ready to talk to Anon.
> He was patiently waiting the entire time, stroking your mane and rocking you gently.
> Normally you wouldn’t want to be treated like a filly, but right now it felt just right.
> You felt warm and safe.
> Pulling yourself away from the dampness that is now Anons shirt, you look up at him.
> ‘My mane must look like a mess right now’ you think to yourself.
“I’m sorry Anon.” You say in a hushed tone.
“I ruined our date by casting magic on myself and I shouldn’t have done that and I’m sorry.” You start babbling out what’s on your mind, hoping Anon can decipher it all.
> You try to slow down, but your emotions are a mess and you just want to let it all out.
> Stupid spell side effects.
> Anon is quiet.
> He just lets you talk.
> You tell him about the talk with Trixie and the night before and the spell you cast on yourself.
> You apologize for everything you’ve done.
> Soon enough you run out of things to say and you are left there, on Anons lap, waiting for his response.
> To your surprise Anon doesn’t say anything, instead he bends down and kisses you.
> It’s a gentle, loving at first but as time goes by things become much more heated.
> By the end of it all Anon has you on the floor under him, spread out like a good book.
> You feel very exposed, not that you mind it though.
> You both pant as you pull away.
> It feels like the park all over again.
> “Were you under a spell this time?” He asks.
> You shake your head and mutter a soft “no”.
> “Good.” He says simply.
> Your eyes go wide as you come to understand what he means.
> You aren’t under a spell this time.
> That means the kiss between the two of you was real.
> What you were feeling and doing is real.
> This is what you, the REAL Starlight felt.
> You smile up at him, your heart pounding like a tribal drum.
> He smiles back.
> Anon pulls you up and sits you against his chest, holding you gently.
> “That just goes to show that you should probably take Trixie’s advice with a large grain of salt.” He chuckles.
“The advice was good. The execution was bad.” You giggle back.
> Anon laughs and boops your nose as the two of you sit on the floor of your room.
> Trixie would collapse if she saw what Anon just did.
> You giggle once more.
> ‘Trixie was right, nose booping does come after kissing’ you think to yourself as you nuzzle back into Anon’s chest.
