  1. >Day 100 in Equestria.
  2. >It's hard to believe you're already in the triple digits.
  3. >Day after day of exercising with Dash and working with Twilight in the library.
  4. >For you, it's always been easy to fall into a routine, and this is testament to that just as much as your joy of overeating had been.
  5. >You wake up this morning feeling rather groggy, and promptly decide it's time to take a rare day off from running.
  6. >With the decision made, you let out a content sigh.
  7. >You know Dash will come calling eventually, but you can't bring yourself to get up, even just to let her know you're taking the day off.
  8. >About a week ago she cranked up the run to five miles, and your pace has improved a lot.
  9. >It's amazing what getting off your ass can accomplish.
  10. >You roll over and see Twilight browsing through the book shelves, idly humming to herself.
  11. >Eventually you close your eyes and drift off to sleep, Twilight's humming soothing you as you do so.
  12. >...
  13. >"Anon."
  14. >"Anon, your breakfast is going cold."
  15. >Your eyes open slowly, and you notice that you're still on your side. Twilight is at the side of your bed, a smile on her face, "Rainbow came by earlier, but I figured you'd want a day off since you didn't wake up at your usual time."
  16. >You sit up with a yawn, bringing a hand to your forehead.
  17. "Huh... kind of figured you'd be the first to wake me up."
  18. >She frowns, "And why is that?"
  19. "Well, you're just such a stickler for the rules and doing everything by the book."
  20. >Twilight huffs and turns away, making her way back to the bookshelf. "I know how to relax," she snaps.
  21. >You roll your eyes with a laugh and climb out of bed, ready to start the day.
  22. -----
  23. >Around lunch time you decide to head for the town square. What you don't expect is to run into Dash.
  24. >She's just idling by the benches, scuffing her front hooves on the ground and looking at her surroundings.
  25. >She's so spaced out she doesn't even notice you walk up to her.
  26. "Hey, don't you normally have work at this time?"
  27. >She jumps a little in surprise, then looks up at you with a glare, "Don't sneak up on me like that."
  28. "What are you doing out here?"
  29. >She blushes and looks away, "Waiting."
  30. "Oh?"
  31. >You cross your arms and smile.
  32. "Waiting for what?"
  33. >She steps forward, still glaring, "For you to get up off your lazy bum. As for why I'm not at work, the boss gave me the day off."
  34. >You laugh.
  35. "Maybe we have a psychic connection."
  36. >"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's not the case, Big Guy."
  37. "You're probably right. If it was I wouldn't be able to stop messing with you."
  38. >"And why's that, huh?!"
  39. >You grin.
  40. "Because I know you're a pervert."
  41. >You don't think you'll ever get tired of seeing Dash embarrassed like this.
  42. "I'm surprised you let me off the hook today. Normally you're pretty adamant about my exercise."
  43. >"Well, I mean... look at you," she says, gesturing with her hoof, "You've lost a ton of weight. I'm not a slave driver, you know."
  44. "Ha, could have fooled me."
  45. >Dash sticks her tongue out at you as you make your way to one of the benches. You sit down and pat the empty spot with your hand. Dash rolls her eyes and makes her way over, jumping onto the bench.
  46. >She lays down and rests her head on your lap, closing her eyes.
  47. >"You talk to Twi lately?"
  48. "Well, I kind of spend almost every day working in the library. It would be weird if I DIDN'T talk to her."
  49. >Dash sighs in exasperation, but keeps her eyes closed, "That's not what I mean."
  50. "Oh. In that case, no. I don't exactly like to jump the gun on things. I've always figured that you didn't want to go along with it."
  51. >"Yeah, I thought so too. Problem with that is... I'd feel pretty bad just outright saying no."
  52. >You raise an eyebrow.
  53. "You're kidding, right?"
  54. >She laughs and opens her left eye, peeking up at you. "If I was kidding I would've already been laughing my butt off that you fell for it. I've just been thinking about it these past few days, and..."
  55. "And?"
  56. >She sighs, "Forget it, I need a few more days."
  57. >You rest a hand on her mane and shake your head.
  58. "I take it you'll be talking to me before Twilight."
  59. >"Yeah."
  60. "Well, just make sure you mean it whenever you make up your mind. Whether you tell her it's okay or not, it's not a good idea to be half-hearted about it."
  61. >She scoffs, "Since when have I done anything half-hearted? I think you're forgetting who I am."
  62. "Oh I'm SO sorry I underestimated the almighty Rainbow Dash."
  63. >Dash jabs you in the side with a hoof, and you let out a grunt of pain.
  64. "Careful, I could call you in for domestic abuse."
  65. >"You don't have the guts."
  66. "I can give you tips on how to hit me without leaving bruises."
  67. >"Isn't that the opposite of what you should do?"
  68. "You're right, I better keep quiet. Be careful where you're swinging that thing, I might hit back one day."
  69. >"Oh yeah? What're you gonna do, poke me with those boney fingers of yours?"
  70. >Without a word, you reach behind her ear and start scratching. She lets out a small sigh and plants her head back in your lap.
  71. >When you stop her brow furrows, "What the heck was that?"
  72. "That was what those bony fingers can do."
  73. >She's about to reply, but thinks better of it when you resume the scratching. Instead, she gives a content smile and nuzzles into your leg.
  74. >You spend a good part of the afternoon just like this.
  75. -------
  76. >By the time you return to the library the sun is already on its way past the horizon.
  77. >It appears that Twilight took a lazy day as well. There are still a few piles of books on the ground when you open the door.
  78. >"Ah, Anon, you're back!"
  79. >You look towards the excited voice and see Twilight at the end of the stairs to her room. She looks rather antsy, and her mane is kind of a mess.
  80. "Um... hey Twi. You okay?"
  81. >She trots to you and sighs, shaking her head, "Don't worry about me, Anon. Today has been... rough. Did you have a good day off?"
  82. >With the smile she's giving you it's kind of hard to stay overly worried about her. She probably just had some other busy work to do besides books, and it ended up being a bit stressful.
  83. "I had a good day. Hung out with Dash in the town square. What about you?"
  84. >Twilight frowns, and her face goes red, "Well, I uh... I haven't been feeling well today. I would have gotten more done, but I..."
  85. >You hold up a hand.
  86. "It's okay. Say no more. I'll take care of all the books. It doesn't look like there's much today anyways."
  87. >Her warm smile returns, "That would be great, Anon. You're the best, you know that?"
  88. >Now you feel your own face heating up. You rub the back of your neck and let out a nervous laugh.
  89. "Where's Spike at?"
  90. >"He's... away at the moment. I have him running errands for Princess Celestia. He won't be back to Ponyville for another week. You sure you'll be alright doing this all by yourself?"
  91. "Yep, all me. You head back upstairs and rest."
  92. >"I still haven't made dinner."
  93. "It's alright. I'll manage something. You just worry about feeling better."
  94. >With a soft nod she makes her way back upstairs, leaving you to the undone work.
  95. >You set to work.
  96. >It's a light day, and it only takes about an hour to get everything put back where it belongs. Obviously there weren't many guests to the library this week.
  97. >You whip up a small salad in the kitchen, since you're not feeling very hungry. Twilight mentioned something yesterday about Celestia nearly being done with your meat supply chain.
  98. >You're looking forward to it greatly. It'll be nice to eat bacon again.
  99. >After your salad you decide to sit down with as good book.
  100. >The latest Daring Do is out, so you decide to go with that.
  101. >You sit on your bed, back leaning against the head board as you flip open the book and start reading.
  102. >After about two hours your eyes start getting heavy, and it's dark outside.
  103. >You close the book and let out a yawn.
  104. >A loud thud from upstairs startles you out of your drowsiness. You leap out of the bed and run up to the second floor.
  105. >"Anon!"
  106. >You run to the second set of stairs when Twilight calls for help, and then freeze...
  107. >Twilight's eyes widen as they lock with yours, "A... Anon?"
  108. >She's under the covers, but you're pretty positive you know exactly what she had been doing.
  109. >You can't think of anything to say.
  110. >Twilight turns away, hiding her flushed face, "Erm..."
  111. >Right. She definitely had not been calling for help.
  112. "I though you were... I'll just um... go back downstairs."
  113. >Twilight pulls the covers over her face and lets out a small squeak that would rival Fluttershy's.
  114. >You walk back downstairs to the ground floor, completely speechless and barely able to form a coherent thought.
  115. >Twilight had been... pleasuring herself.
  116. >While thinking about you.
  117. >You fall face first into your bed.
  118. >Your voice is muffled by the pillow, but you're pretty sure if anyone had been around they would understand every word you utter into it.
  119. "Whaf tha fuk?"
  120. -----
  121. >Day 101 in Equestria.
  122. >The next morning is... awkward to say the least.
  123. >Twilight cooks breakfast wordlessly, and you leave with Dash as soon as she gets there, not even saying goodbye.
  124. >Dash inquires to what's happening during the run, but you can't bring yourself to tell her anything.
  125. >She'll have to settle for no info.
  126. >Before Dash heads off to work she gives you a peck on the cheek and smiles.
  127. >You're dreading going back to the library for lunch, but it's not like you have a choice. Even if you eat somewhere else you would just end up worrying Twilight without telling her where you're going.
  128. >So, with a weight in your chest and fear of the awkward atmosphere that awaits, you make your way back.
  129. >You knock before opening the door, and for the first time since yesterday you speak within the walls of the library as you step inside.
  130. "I'm back, Twi!"
  131. >You hear her hooves on the wood as she makes her w\ay to the main room.
  132. >Her hair isn't a mess today, and she doesn't look quite as stressed as she had.
  133. >The shy smile on her face when she sees you only makes you feel worse.
  134. "Uh... sorry about yesterday."
  135. >"I should be the one apologizing. I could have been... quieter. Normally it isn't an issue, but..."
  136. "But?"
  137. >She blushes, "Estrus."
  138. >You think you've heard that word somewhere before.
  139. "Wait, you're in heat?"
  140. >She turns away and frowns, "Do you have to say it so bluntly?"
  141. >"ANYWAYS, it seems like you and Rainbow are getting along well."
  142. "Yeah."
  143. >If things get anymore awkward you're pretty sure you're going to have to spend the night outside.
  144. >You decide to sit on the edge of your bed, and Twilight follows.
  145. "You're not gonna do anything crazy, are you?"
  146. >She shakes her head, "No. Just a bit more... excited than usual. It lasts for about a week."
  147. "You seem awfully comfortable talking about this stuff with me."
  148. >There's that blush again. "Well, you're a close friend, and..."
  149. "And?"
  150. >"No no no. I really need to talk to Rainbow."
  151. "Why's that?"
  152. >She sighs, "It's selfish of me, I guess. To want both of you, that is."
  153. "That all depends on what Dash says."
  154. >"And what does she say?" she asks, sitting on her haunches and frowning at you.
  155. "She says she's thinking about it, and doesn't want to just say no. I think it's bugging her as much as it is you."
  156. >Twilight smiles softly and laughs under her breath, "that's just like her. Always thinking about others, even if she does seem a bit brash sometimes."
  157. "Brash is an understatement."
  158. >This time she giggles, "Okay, vain."
  159. "That's a bit better."
  160. >"Anon... do you think she'll say yes?"
  161. "How should I know? Normally I can tell how she's thinking or feeling, but with her so confused it's kind of difficult."
  162. >"When I first came up with the idea I wasn't too sure about it myself. After a while it styarted to sound more and more appealing."
  163. "So if she says yes?"
  164. >"I would like that."
  165. >Without warning, she plants her front hooves on the bed and leans up to kiss you... deeply.
  166. >It seems like forever until she pulls away.
  167. >"That will be the last time I do that unless Rainbow says yes."
  168. >She jumps back down and trots towards the stairs, flicking her tail back and forth as she goes.
  169. >You clear your throat and decide that a cold shower is a pretty good idea right about now.
