- Ludum Dare Theme Ideas:
- Floating Islands [I predict this will win, no promisesđ] (+1)
- - For sure a platformer, very physics and possibly puzzle based
- - Abuse moving platforms.
- - Possible idea to move around the platforms with the mouse
- - This uses energy (or whatever) and you can collect more energy by platforming
- - Includes undo and reset key
- - Grid with snapping while moving platforms so there arenât any crazy bugs.

- - This theme makes it to the final round in almost every ludum dare. Similar to how inconvenient superpowers always makes it to rounds 1-3.
- - Similar to later MvD games where you must edit the level while a robotic character moves for you.

- - Can use similar ideas to âyou are not the main characterâ
- - Go crazy with the art

- - This isnât Gameboy jam.
- - I would try and bend the rules with this theme. While it is âonly 3 colorsâ. That could refer to my main mechanic rather than entire game!

- - The world is literally broken in pieces

- - This is very similar to last yearâs theme (running out of power) where I had a great first day but lost all of my ideas on the second which caused me to fail
