This is the Standard Operating Procedure for ground action against a Westboro Baptist Church
protest against a funeral. We have used this SOP to great effect on numerous occasions. It
is quite likely that due to our cyber attacks and the ensuing publicity that the WBC will
simply not show up at the Charleston funerals, we must nevertheless be fully prepared for
them to do so. This preparation on the ground, in and of itself can often be the final straw
that leads to them to cancelling their plans to protest the funerals.

It is critical to keep a sharp focus on the goal for Anonymous and supporters regarding
ground action against the Westboro Baptist Church. The point is NOT to counter protest these
idiots. That would simply serve to disrespect the funerals even more and create havoc in the
vicinity of the funerals. The goal is to contain these morons, and to block their hateful
message in such a way as they can not be seen by those in the funeral procession or at the
venue. As such, it is critical to do two things when confronting WBC members on the ground:
One, remain masked up at all times so you won't be identified or photographed by hostiles.
Two, remain SILENT at all times. No  matter the provocation DO NOT ENGAGE the WBC members
verbally.

1) TRACKING THE WBC - It will be critical for us, both on the ground and online - to have
a clear situational awareness as to the exact location of WBC members in Charleston if they
indeed show up. To that end, we will need your eyes on the ground there. If the info goes
out that they might be there, travel to local motels and search for them. Make calls to
motels and use social engineering to attempt to find out if they are registered. Send all
information upstream via Twitter. Tag all sightings and info with the hashtag #TrackWBC
and mention our central Twitter account @OpFerguson and follow this account for downstream
information to you on the ground.

2) CONFRONTING THE WBC - When confronting the WBC members in protest mode near the funeral
processions or venues, follow this procedure. First, surround the WBC in a semi-circle
with backs turned to them and your arms linked. Do not completely surround them, give them an
exit opening AWAY from the procession or venue. That is the first perimeter. The second
perimeter should form a semi-circle around the first perimeter but face INWARD towards the
WBC protesters. This second perimeter should monitor the actions of the WBC members,
keeping the first perimeter informed (because their backs are too the morons).
Additionally the second perimeter should be equipped with very large BLANK signs to be used
to block the WBC signs from view of the processions or venues. We have found that very
large whiteboard (the Styrofoam sign board type, sold at art stores) mounted firmly on
sturdy sticks works best for this.

At all times in the vicinity of the funeral processions ground operatives should remain
respectfull and UNMASKED until actually confronting Westboro Baptist Church members.
Rehearsing a confrontation with WBC protesters using this SOP can be very helpful in
working out the bugs and doing it smoothly in action.
