Introducing: The Wanderers!

Who are we:
We’re a group of speedrunners that aren’t necessarily small, but we’re definitely not big. We tend to run mostly platformers and RPGs, but there’s some variety mixed in as well. The goal was to assemble a team of guys that felt like they were on the verge of pushing higher and trying to create an avenue to do that, but that wasn’t the only thing. We’re going to have events on a monthly or bimonthly basis, whether that’s a group race, a Mario Kart session, or just a large series of event streams. It’s going to be a lot of fun and I hope you guys stick around for the ride.

Authorblues – Super Mario World… but also every other game under the sun.
CriticalCyd – 3D Sonic (Heroes, Colors) and Golden Sun
Frokenok – 3D Sonic (Generations) and a variety of 3D RPGs
Ghoul02 – Persona, Donkey Kong, Catherine
Jhobz296 – Kingdom Hearts, Ratchet and Clank, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
Kirbymastah – Metroid, Fire Emblem, Sonic Advance
MLSTRM - Final Fantasy 13, Xenoblade Chronicles
Mr_Shasta – Kirby, Metroid, Star Fox
Ourolen – Dark Souls 3, Kirby, Eternal Sonata
Sk84uhlivin – Final Fantasy 7 and 12, Infamous

Okay, so the question is probably why? Honestly, Twitch is working towards a team meta... but I haven’t seen a team really push this in the “smaller” area. So I wanted to give it a go. I decided to ask a few of my friends that have wanted to make the push towards partner for a while and been barely on the outside looking in or feel like they won’t have a chance. I then asked who they thought might fit that with the goal of getting to 10 dedicated members. As a team, we wanted to focus on what got us there, while also allowing for new fun things, which is where the events come into play. We’ve got a full slate of potential events that we’re excited to do. Our first event should be coming up soon during the 12 hour challenge, and we’ll have more details on it soon.
