The website has 1000 urls and wants to compare against 1-3 competitors.
Prob gonna need something custom built for this
Some quick googling shows a bunch of services / tools, I was must wondering if someone had a favorite.
If you are just trying to do a quick domain level size up you can check out MOZ Open Site Explorer and compare up to 5 domains.
I'm looking to scrape competitors prices off of individual product pages so I don't think OSE can help me here.

Check out Prisync. I think it is the most user-friendly and is targeted for SMBs.
Why not just have it custom coded? It seems like a pretty straightforward continuous/scheduled scraping job
