Ravenclaw Match 1 Commentary

MICHE VS SUSAN

    Hello everyone, welcome to our Dueling Match of Ravenclaw! My name is Laney and I have the honor of commentating the events that are about to unfold. Our first match of the evening is between our lovely Miche and Susan! Both of these Ravenclaws are extremely gifted in the art of dueling and there doesn't seem to be clear agreement on who is predicted to win. I didn't even send in my bets because I couldn't choose! How could I?! Everyone in this tournament is so talented and has the fire up their bum to win these matches to be crowned our first ever DUELING CHAMPIONNNNN! *air horn* Well, Miche and Susan are giving me the stink eye so I guess that means they are ready to proceed. <p>

    Miche and Susan are currently shaking hands, wishing each other luck. Alright, they both have just taken their wands out from their robes and have been instructed to cast their first spell in 3...2...1....LIGHT HAS SHOT OUT OF BOTH WANDS! Miche decided to go with a sneak attack right out the gate and Susan was expecting an aggressive attack as she put up a defense, not even expecting the sneaky attack! Susan then goes straight for an aggressive approach but Miche was counting on that and had her guard up to block, then MICHE ATTACKS WITH AN AGGRESSIVE SPELL! Miche sweeps Susan, not allowing her to get any spells in. Susan seems to be disgruntled as she prepares for the next round. <p>

    Susan and Miche stand on their respected sides ready to take aim once more. 3...2...1....Susan lets her anger out with an aggressive spell once more, but Miche was convinced that this was the route she was going to go in and put up her defense. It seems like Miche is like, "nuh uh we ain't doin' this" and comes in with two aggressive spells back to back! Luckily, Susan was able to block that last one, however, Susan's hair is standing on end all fried and frizzy; looking like Albert Einstein. Miche still won that round, however, and all she needs is one more to take the W. <p>

    Round 3, alright, Susan had one of her fellow Ravenclaws fix up her hair, which was....a look. I mean, if anyone could rock that new hairdo, it would be Susan, but taming that mane was a good choice going into this round. The round starts as both Miche and Susan yell <i>'PROTEGO'</i>. Nothing happens. Then they both say the SAME EXACT SNEAKY SPELLS TWO TIMES IN A ROW! What is this?! Susan and Miche tied this round, and as a recap; we have Miche with <b>2 points</b> and Susan with <b>0 points</b> and one tie. Moving on to Round 4. Susan knows she needs to win this round, but her first two moves only seem to match Miche's. Miche gives Susan a smug smirk, while casting her last defensive spell, but she smirked too soon! Susan comes in with a sneaky attack knowing Miche on her bum! Susan wins!!! <p>

    Miche is still up by one win, however, if Susan wins this next and final match she will tie up the game! I mean, I love rooting for an underdog and it seems that Susan has became just that, however I'm hoping it doesn't go into Sudden Death, as I'm not exactly sure what would happen! We haven't discussed this outcome! I've bitten my nails to nubs as it comes to this final battle. Miche and Susan shake hands one last time, Susan takes a sippy sip of her Dr. Pepper, crushes the can with her forehead and walks back to the center. Woah. Susan means business ladies and gentlemen. It all comes down to this....3...2...1...LIGHT IS OMITTED FROM BOTH WANDS! ....they both chose a sneaky attack and absolutely nothing happens. That was...very anticlimactic. Alright, lets try this again. Miche puts up a DEFENSIVE SPELL AND BLOCKS SUSAN'S AGGRESSIVE ATTACK! MICHE WINS! Miche is our first winner for the Ravenclaw House, and she seems to doing some sort of...Irish jig to celebrate her winning? Uhm, interesting choice Miche, but to each their own. Susan has gone over and congratulated Miche on her win as Miche is escorted away to witness the next match up of Katy and Vana, to see who she will take on in the battle of who gets to represent Ravenclaw!

VANA VS KATY

    Welcome back, it's me, Laney again, and blah blah blah. WHO IS READY TO SEE A DUELLLLLLLL!?!? This time we have the beautiful Vana take on our Potions Master Katy. The winner of this round will be facing Miche - for the chance to represent Ravenclaw in the Final Four and to possibly go on to become our first ever...DUELING CHAMPIONNNNNN *air horn* Sorry about that guys...Headmistress Paige has just informed me that the air horns are getting a bit too much and have caused many to go temporarily deaf in one ear. My apologizes. *quiet air horn that sounds like a deflated balloon* <p>

    Vana and Katy both face each other and shake hands....they are still shaking hands....it seems like the girls can't stop giving each other compliments? Vana has complimented Katy's hair and Katy just complimented Vana's manicure. Katy now is telling Vana where she gets her hair done, "Would you believe I found my hair dresser at the Hog's Head Inn?" KATY NO, DIDN'T YOUR MOTHER EVEN TEACH YOU NOT TO TALK TO STRANGERS?! Katy is now giving me a dirty look...WELL IF Y'ALL WOULD START ALREADY. Jeesh. We get it, y'all are both pretty now shut up and give the people what we have been waiting for! A DUELLLL!!! *air horn* <i>Headmistress Paige gives Laney a dirty look</i> My bad... OKAY, it looks like they are finally going to start. In 3...2...1...KATY GOES RIGHT IN FOR AN AGGRESSIVE SPELL WHICH IS NO MATCH FOR VANA'S SNEAKY ATTACK, KATY WAS LIKE NOT IN MY HOUSE GIRLLLLL. Vana seems to be taken aback and decides to put up a defensive spell next, which apparently Katy was anticipating because she comes in for a lil sneak sneak attack knocking Vana on the ground. Vana has been defeated this first round, and as we move to the next we have bets coming in at rapid speed. People are actually pretty confident that Vana is going to make a comeback. <p>

   Our second round has begun, and Vana dives right in with an aggressive spell but Katy was fully expecting that, blocking the rage. Katy casts an aggressive this time, but Vana dodges it with her own defensive spell. Round 2 is tied with 1 win each, Katy throws out another aggressive spell while Vana tries the sneaky approach and fails. Looks like another win for our Potions Master! Five Ravenclaw girls huddle around Vana, one giving her a back massage and another holding a water out for her to drink, while the others make their attempts to pump her up for Round 3. If Katy wins this next battle, it will be a clean sweep and Katy will move on to compete against Miche. Alright, it seems that Vana is making her way back as Katy is finishing brushing her hair. Wow, Katy really does have pretty hair...I wonder if she'll give me that hair dresser's name....Anyway...<p>

    Round 3 starts off hopeful as Vana uses a sneaky attack to get past Katy's defense. However, Katy puts up another defensive spell as Vana tries to go in a bit more aggressively this time. Here it is, will this be the last attack for this match?! Katy and Vana both cast their spell and...AND...ANDDDDD?!?!? They both used their defensive spells....COME ON. Whatever, now we have to enter Round 4. As a recap, we have Katy with <b>2 wins</b>, Vana with <b>no wins</b> and we have <b>one tie</b>. Vana needs to win this next one to stay eligible, and she needs to win these last two rounds in order to tie with Katy. <p>

    We enter Round 4 and Vana is seen taking deep breathes. She is trying to center herself as she enters what may be her last match. The girls shake hands and draw their wands once more. Ready ladies? The girls locked eyes and are stone solid. In 3...2...1...Vana throws up her defensive spell but Katy instantly casts her sneaky spell dodging the defense. It's not looking good for Vana, and those who placed those bets have butterflies in their stomach, it could come down to this, right now. The girls cast their spells once more and they cast the SAME spell but opposite. Vana casts a sneaky and Katy a defensive, making Vana the victor. However, we still have one more time to go in this round. Now, THIS could be it ladies and gentlemen. The room is quiet, everyone is still, it doesn't even look like anyone is even blinking. 3...2...1...its like watching something in slow motion Katy attempts her sneaky attack once more, but Vana was ready, she wasn't going to take being swept under the rug with no win! SHE KNOCKED KATY ON HER BUM WITH AN AGGRESSIVE SPELL! VANA WINS! VANA WINS! The crowd goes absolutely bizzzzonkers! Vana has her first win of the night and she needs this last win in order to stay in the game. <p>

    As we enter Round 5, Vana is seen with a smile on her face, one we haven't seen since the first initial handshake between her and her competitor. Katy put her wild, luscious mane in a ponytail, meaning BUSINESS. Katy and Vana stand on their respected sides without even shaking hands. Y'all were just friends talking about how cute each other were and what not and now we can't even get a HANDSHAKE?! Girls, ammiright? 3...2...1... Vana comes in with an aggressive spell that Katy dodges. Katy and Vana both throw their sneaky spells out. That...that means KATY WINS! Even if Vana wins this next one, that would just leave us with another tie! The final score is Katy <b>2 wins</b>, Vana <b>1 win</b>, and <b>2 ties</b>! Katy will be moving on to compete against Miche in a battle of who the best Ravenclaw dueler is, and who will go on further to compete against the other House champions to become the FIRST. EVER. DUELING CHAMPIONNNNNN! *air horn* Alright everyone! Laney out! I gotta go before our Headmistress hits me over the head with a broomstick.
