SUBJECT: Staff Report [Thimble]



Date of incident: Throughout June 2019

Rules broken: [3.0  Metagaming]  and Abusing position as an admin.

Explanation of the incident: The Sinful Kings MC used to do business with the Vanguard, and white power as a general. We were informed both IC and OOC at the beginning or early June that a 'tax' was coming into play, and that the Vanguard would be expecting us to pay them 10k a week for protection in prison. All fair enough here, a totally IC thing, but then after refusing to pay due to IC reasons (Vanguard members attacking our faction in violation of previous alliances), Thimble contacted me OOC and began to strong arm me OOC over discord into paying their faction money IC. He tried to tell me that it was poor roleplay not to pay him, began to disect my faction and make comparrisons to a hit TV series about bikers, but most importantly, told me that our faction members would be CK'd in prison once prison was ready, and that he was a member of FM so essentially could make sure that it happened.
This admin was abusing his power, hinting threats of CK's due to his position on FM to influence our IC decision to pay his faction half a million dollars a year IC.
Furthermore, which may not be against the rules but I find extremely unfair, Thimble claimed he was in charge of the represenation of the ayran brotherhood offscreen so essentially had an army of NPC's ready to kill us if HE decided we were greenlit ic. This information was conveyed to me over discord also, which again is an example of him trying to strong arm ooc.
He also messaged me later to ask me if they could kill an 'NPC' member of sinful kings and edit screenshots of this offscreen to flex their position as the representation of the Ayran Brotherood.

Footnote: I've noticed on the forums that Thimble appears to no longer be an admin, however this took place whilst he was an admin. I can't help but feel if it was a regular player pulling this kind of stunt he'd be crucified but ofcourse that's up to you guys to decide. My faction is STILL to this day being held to pay this tax under threat of CK's in prison ooc, so I just hope this guy is removed from a position to be able to monopolise that IC and OOC.
