[23:11] The Paladin floats to a stool, hovering above it as shimmering grey and gold fall upon Kuso. His arms are crossed, morose in appearance as a rattling crawls along the ground.

"Rite. So wha' ya sayin' is Amelie was havin' this stuff brought in fer a price, ya." The Paladin looks back. "Hey Alastor. Ya ain't miss much. Could go over it again in a jiffy.

[23:16] The Kitsune reaches down into his chest and produces yet another satchel tossing it onto the table unceremoniously, and glowing mushrooms and bundles of soothe reeds spill out, "I did not know what they needed to produce such a poison, but I found these amassed as well."

[23:16] Kuso Yarou says, "So I thought it best perhaps to halt their production."
[23:20] Alastor seems to stare, mainly, at the gigantic reserve of Nightshade. He can barely fathom what he could do with something like that; Usual venom was strong enough to paralyze a magi in large dosages, but Nightshade? Something like this could ruin their whole city.

He squinted slightly, but there was something for this that he needed to know, after all... Not all of it was easily obtainable; And such a hefty amount was terrifying. Or.

Useful.

Yes, that was the right word. Useful. "You did all this because you wanted to become Amelie's friend?"

[23:22] The Kitsune raises his shoulder in response to the noble, there was no point in mincing words now that his cards were quite literally on the table. "I want what nearly all of us want. Simple things, mind. Friends, coin, and the opportunity to use my abilities."

Perhaps the elegant and talkative route was not just the way to go now that his spiel was done.

[23:24] Kuso Yarou says, "Oh I had hoped to walk out of here with my pockets full of something that won't kill me if a bottle breaks."

[23:27] Kuso Yarou says, "By our founder's permission I may open a branch here in Dawn to see trade flow."
[23:27] Jessika Ann says, "Ran by that fellow... whats his name."
[23:27] Kuso Yarou says, "Gabriel."
[23:27] Jessika Ann exclaims, "Yes!"
[23:28] Jessika Ann says, "We briefly encountered one another, but another Legion member dealt with him not I."
[23:28] Kuso Yarou says, "So, I would be a simple merchant. Part of a noteworthy guild in Huangzhou due to our recent alliance, I orchestrated, with The Brotherhood of Light."
[23:29] Kuso Yarou says, "My alibi is perfect, my laundering is with ease."
[23:29] Kuso Yarou says, "None would suspect why I roam back and forth under these pretenses."
[23:30] Kuso Yarou says, "And this is the sum of my information beyond the mention of ledgers and the nature of the treaty with the Brotherhood of Light."
[23:30] Alastor G. Vishkar asks, "Ah. What is your name?"

[23:31] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "I am rather interested in this, Kuso. I think that it... Might be useful, to say the least."

[23:32] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "But my plan involves a little bit more."
[23:32] Alastor G. Vishkar asks, "I think you might be good for it. Is that -all- the information you have?"
[23:33] Alastor grabs a bunch of hefty sacks of coins, putting them one by one over the table. Easily, each sack could fit about five hundred coins.

[23:33] Kuso Yarou says, "But that is mostly trivial, so for now yes."
[23:33] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "I have no idea what this Brotherhood of Light is."
[23:34] Kuso Yarou says, "A tertiary party in Huangzhou that is not pledged to the official military."
[23:34] Kuso Yarou says, "So if something goes awry they are bound to protect me and my guild."
[23:34] Jessika Ann says, "That'd be an interesting set up."
[23:34] Kuso Yarou says, "A bit of insurance, really."
[23:35] Jessika Ann asks, "How strong is this Brotherhood of Light?"
[23:36] The Kitsune tries to remain uninterested in the coin and fails. It is clearly written on his face that he is quite pleased with what he is seeing. Tearing his eyes away from the object of his desire he respond, "Fifteen strong putting us at twenty-five with the alliance."

[23:36] Jessika Ann says, "Aye."
[23:37] Kuso Yarou asks, "In time I could get them to sign a formal agreement of alliance that is more.. Loose, you understand?"
[23:37] Kuso Yarou says, "But, all in due time."
[23:37] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "We do not need any military alliances. Merely the guarantee that they'll stay away."
[23:37] Kuso Yarou says, "I could potentially arrange that as well."
[23:37] Kuso Yarou says, "Next I return I shall bring the treaty for your inspection."
[23:38] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Yes, yes. I trust papers-- And, sometimes, I like trusting people."
[23:38] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "So, here is the thing, Kuso..."
[23:38] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Seventy five per nightshade."
[23:38] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "And."
[23:38] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "You might get a few thousands off the book, depending on information you give..."
[23:39] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Or jobs you'd be willing to do on my name."

[23:41] Kuso licks his suddenly dry lips and blinks in surprise, "Ten thousand a day.." He murmurs dreamily. Luck be a lady his gut had not led him astray.

"Naturally not, sir." He says tossing his head side to side causing his mane to wiggle and to free the dreams of grandeur from their place in his mind.

"I can work these jobs I think so long as I am not pressed for time."

[23:43] Kuso Yarou asks, "Do you wish to possess these as well?"
[23:44] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Ten thousand for all of it."
[23:45] The kitsune man digs his claws into his legs to steady himself. Fortunately the faint trickle of blood would not show in a garment so dark. His voice is strained as he speaks, delight written on his countenance. "Ten thousand.. Is a good price, sir."

[23:52] A risky plan, perhaps. He knew that the nightshade was in the bulk, enough to work for what he planned. Perhaps he could use it; Or perhaps, he could not. Only time would show what could happen. The information that Huangzhou had this much poison at their availability...

Well, it terrified him. But what would terrify him more? Not having all of that. He needed it. One by one, the sacks of coin were put over the table, until they amassed twenty. And in a single movement of his arm, all slid towards the Kitsune.

But, he waited.

"This is likely enough for what I need. I want you to do something else, though; For appreciation of my... Generosity. If you know anyone who needs potions, tell them that the best alchemist in Agartha is taking commissions. For a price, obviously; One which you could take a hefty cut." A slight smile, and he simply voiced what he expected to come next.

"The materials, please."

[23:56] The Kitsune watches as each bag is counted out, his heart beating in rhythm with them as they are placed on the table one by one. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.

He takes a deep breath to still his beating heart so that he does not go into cardiac arrest before he can even properly do it with illicit substances and the company of fine women as the coin could afford him.

Fortunately Alastor's words draw his attention away and help him center himself so that he does not burst from the excitement, but his tail still twitched erratically as he listened, hanging on to every word.

"I could easily endorse such an alchemist by way of trial for newcomers to the guild. We are the Explorer's Guild, after all. If perhaps we could have a treaty that offers such members protections in these lands to.. Dispel their superstitions regarding the fine people of Dawn?"

[00:04] "My people mean no harm to anyone who doesn't mean any harm to us. We are here for a simple purpose, and that one is fulfilled whenever we need." He smirks some, before grabbing the materials themselves. And then, he decides to make a rather daring offer to the man himself.

"You are free to come, and you are free to experiment of my... Alchemy! I have some wonderful things that might come to good use. For instance, did you know Jester Juice produces incredible amusement on the one that drinks it? The incessant laughter is the least desirable effect, but I reckon I might be able to cut it off." He lets out a faint chuckle, before continuing to speak.

"Nevertheless, buyers are more than welcome in Dawn, provided they don't stick their nose where they're not welcome, but I imagine you already knew that, didn't you?"

[00:08] Kuso leans against the table still listening to Alastor to allow himself to calm down and slowly enough, as the conversation continued and gave his mind a different focus, it began to work.

"Jester Juice is good stuff, but a bit too potent for my more mellowed taste. I am more of a Soothe Reed type man when the fancy takes me, sir." He says, inclining his head towards the materials.

"Still, I thought it best to bring forth their means manufacturing if that is what it was." He raises his shoulders, "Then again I am no alchemist."

He clicks his nails together as he decides to push his luck in turn and see if the second stage of this whole setup to aide Dawn as a dear friend might bear fruit. "Perhaps, sir.. By merit of my deeds today I could have a good word putforth for me to have a building erected to house the Dawn branch of the Explorer's Guild?"

A small smile, before both of his hands are put on the table, forcing him to push to a standing position again.

[00:14] The kitsune gathers up the bags of coin and begins strapping them to his legs one by one before letting his Kimono fall over them to hide the weight. His hand glowed faintly as each one was set upon his leg causing them to shimmer. Instead of clinking as they moved the faint rustling of grass could be heard as the bags shifted under their glamor.

"I see, well.. Perhaps I can bring the guild leader although I do act with his authority, mind. Anyways I do believe this is all until next time, sir." He says flashing a wide smile, "And a pleasurable time it has been."
