  11. @Goatwright#9050 You anticipate another perilous journey akin to the one you just made, but as you navigate towards the mark, you find a path, likely wrapping around the peak and towards the gym.
  12.
  13. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:02 PM]
  14. Finn runs off to buy himself a potion reaaal quick, then takes a deep breath and starts heading off that way
  15.
  16. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:07 PM]
  17. You pop in and out of town real quick, and continue on your way. As you travel along this path, it doesn't take too long before you can see the gym. Apparently, the gym has been carved into the mountainside.
  18.
  19. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:08 PM]
  20. "Woah. That's... excessive." Finn clutches at his backpack and heads towards this fuckin' monastic gym.
  21.
  22. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:15 PM]
  23. You approach, and the doors are already open to you as you enter. Within, despite having been carved out of the mountain, it follows the standard gym layout: A hall which details those who bested the Shredder, followed by a reception area, the walls and floors of which were installed on top of the rock and ice, probably in order to meet the League's standards. The receptionist is in exceptionally thick winter garb, and they don't notice you at first.
  24.
  25. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:20 PM]
  26. Finn clears his throat as he enters the lobby and walks up to the receptionist. "Uh, hey. I'm here to challenge the gym." He offers up his Pokemon and presents his badges per regular protocol before they even manage to ask.
  27.
  28. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:23 PM]
  29. The receptionist jumps as you speak. "Oh!" He holds his hand over his heart. "Spooked me there. Po - oh, yes, right, you have them here. Let me just..." The receptionist processes your Pokemon and badges. "Going for badge number three then?"
  30.
  31. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:30 PM]
  32. "Sure am."
  33.
  34. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:36 PM]
  35. "Hope you're ready, gym challenges start to get a lot harder from here on out," he says, handing back your Pokemon and your badges. "Person who's in there's just about finished, from what I understand, so it'll be just a short moment while they reapply the ice."
  36.
  37. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:37 PM]
  38. "Cool, works for me. Thank you." He nods, and goes to take a seat while he waits for whoever to come out. Wonder if it was that lady they met a day ago.
  39.
  40. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:48 PM]
  41. The trainer who exits is not the lady you met before, but rather, a stranger who, when you look at them, kinda gives you the heebie jeebies. His stare is cold and unfeeling, as if he hardly regards you as a person. He leaves with hardly a word, and the receptionist speaks, "You're clear to enter!"
  42.
  43. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 09:50 PM]
  44. Spooky. Finn shivers a little bit, before heading on inside.
  45.
  46. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 09:58 PM]
  47. As you enter, you can feel and see the floor change from concrete slab to a mixture of permafrost, rock, and ice, roughed up to the point that walking without slipping isn't a problem. This cavern is massive, as the standard of a gym's battleground demands, and on the other side, you can see... Someone who looks a lot like not Johnny. They wave enthusastically. "Hi! Johnny's getting patched up right now. Seems the last trainer who came in accidentally burnt him with a big fire move, so he can't greet you properly."
  48.
  49. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:00 PM]
  50. Finn sort of awkwardly waves back. "Oh, jeez, is he gonna be okay?"
  51.
  52. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:02 PM]
  53. "Yep, yeah, it wasn't too bad, as far as burns go. But anyways, I'm Inigo, his understudy, and the person you've gotta fight before you get to him."
  54.
  55. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:02 PM]
  56. "Inigo? That's a pretty cool name. Are you from out-of-region?"
  57. Finn shuffles around in his bag for Sully, deciding to make some conversation while he looks for the right ball. Man, having a lot of Pokemon is hard.
  58.
  59. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:04 PM]
  60. "Nah, but my parents are. Anyways, we're not here about me, we're here to battle, right?" Inigo reaches down to his belt and grabs a Pokeball.
  61.
  62. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:05 PM]
  63. "Yep. Ready when you are." He pulls out Sully's ball. Better to get some practice in on the weaker guy.
  64.
  65. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:15 PM]
  66. After what feels like a weirdly long amount of time, Inigo calls out the first defender of the battle: a Cubchoo, standing proud.
  67.
  68. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:17 PM]
  69. Finn follows up by sending out good ol' Sully!
  70. 1d6+2 INITIATIVE BABY
  71.
  72. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:17 PM]
  73. @Goatwright#9050: "INITIATIVE BABY": [6] -> **8**
  74.
  75. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:17 PM]
  76. YOOOOOOWWW
  77.
  78. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:18 PM]
  79. 1d6+3 yow
  80.
  81. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:18 PM]
  82. @Nachtimus#1770: "yow": [6] -> **9**
  83.
  84. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:21 PM]
  85. wow fuckin kms
  86.
  87. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:24 PM]
  88. And the Cubchoo takes the first move. "Start us off with an Icy Wind, Oler!" The Cubchoo motions in such a way that causes a freezing breeze to wash over the battlefield, reducing Sully's Dex by 1.
  89.
  90. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:25 PM]
  91. Ah fuck, I can't believe they've done this
  92. "Alright, Sully! Let's make sure you're kept nice and safe! Give me a Double Team!" Prepping two actions.
  93.
  94. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:26 PM]
  95. @Goatwright#9050: [3, 6] -> **9**
  96.
  97. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:26 PM]
  98. 2d6
  99.
  100. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:27 PM]
  101. Sully's speed picks up to incredible speeds, increasing his evasion by 2.
  102.
  103. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:27 PM]
  104. Finn watches for a follow-up from the Cubchoo, holding the action for now.
  105.
  106. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:28 PM]
  107. No multiple actions were declared, so initiative rolls back to you.
  108.
  109. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:29 PM]
  110. "Alright, Sully! Let's follow that up with a Wing Attack!"
  111. 1d6 Unfortunately that dex hit really hurt
  112.
  113. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:30 PM]
  114. @Goatwright#9050: "Unfortunately that dex hit really hurt": [3] -> **3**
  115.
  116. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:30 PM]
  117. fuk
  118.
  119. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:30 PM]
  120. The cold winds prevent Sully from striking true with his wing, and that ends the round. Trainer action?
  121.
  122. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:31 PM]
  123. "Alright, Sully! We've got to make sure we hit next time. Don't let the cold keep you down."
  124.
  125. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:31 PM]
  126. Sully gets an accuracy bonus, while Inigo also urges their Cubchoo to aim properly, granting an accuracy bonus.
  127. One action. "Oler, go for a Powder Snow!" The winds which were already blowing pick up incredibly chilling snowflakes. I presume you attempt to dodge? You'll have to beat four successes.
  128.
  129. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:38 PM]
  130. "Sully! Dodge it!" Finn focuses solely on dodging this one, given its high marks for hitting.
  131. 8d6
  132.
  133. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:38 PM]
  134. @Goatwright#9050: [1, 3, 2, 2, 3, 6, 2, 1] -> **20**
  135.
  136. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:38 PM]
  137. holy shit
  138. wow
  139. nice
  140.
  141. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:40 PM]
  142. Unfortunately, the wave of snowflakes are just too much for Sully to handle: where he tries to dodge, another snowflake takes its place. His Defense?
  143.
  144. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:40 PM]
  145. 1
  146.
  147. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:40 PM]
  148. 4d6
  149.
  150. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:40 PM]
  151. @Nachtimus#1770: [1, 6, 6, 3] -> **16**
  152.
  153. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:41 PM]
  154. Sully takes 3 damage from the assault of snowflakes, and...
  155. 1d6
  156.
  157. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:41 PM]
  158. @Nachtimus#1770: [3] -> **3**
  159.
  160. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:41 PM]
  161. Manages not to be frozen by their chilling touch.
  162.
  163. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:43 PM]
  164. Well that went awful.
  165.
  166. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:43 PM]
  167. He's down to a -3 pain penalization.
  168. And since you spent one action on evasion, it's trainer actions now.
  169.
  170. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:44 PM]
  171. Finn can concede to being down a Pokemon, right?
  172.
  173. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:46 PM]
  174. You can pull your Pokemon out and bring another one in with your trainer action, if that's what you want to do.
  175.
  176. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:47 PM]
  177. Ah fuk it. Finn pats Sully, frowing. "I'm sorry, bud. I guess that didn't work out too great last time, either." He feels like such a shitty trainer. UGH. "Think you can at least get in a good hit before you go down?"
  178.
  179. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:50 PM]
  180. Sully, in an attempt to not let you down, gathers up his will, and, of his own volition, spends a will point to ignore the pain for this round.
  181.
  182. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:50 PM]
  183. ;_;
  184. wtf kid you never let me down
  185. it's ME letting YOU down
  186. That shitty cub bitch goin'?
  187.
  188. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:54 PM]
  189. "Oler, slash it down, just enough to down it!" The Cubchoo rushes forth, to slash at Sully. It's gonna just barely hit Sully unless he dodges. He's got 1 success to evade.
  190.
  191. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 10:59 PM]
  192. "Sully, dodge first!" Declarin' them two actions.
  193. 4d6 fuk u fam leave my bat alone
  194.
  195. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 10:59 PM]
  196. @Goatwright#9050: "fuk u fam leave my bat alone": [2, 4, 5, 4] -> **15**
  197.
  198. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 10:59 PM]
  199. Ya done it, or more specifically, Sully done it, deftly dodging out of the way, to the surprise of Inigo.
  200.
  201. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:00 PM]
  202. "Now, go for a Leech Life! Get yourself back in the game!"
  203. Was Sully's spending a will point considered the trainer action or did he get a +1 to accuracy?
  204.
  205. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:01 PM]
  206. I would say it was the trainer action since what you said prompted Sully to do that.
  207.
  208. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:01 PM]
  209. 1d6 C'mon lady luck
  210.
  211. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:01 PM]
  212. @Goatwright#9050: "C'mon lady luck": [2] -> **2**
  213.
  214. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:01 PM]
  215. ughhhhhhh
  216.
  217. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:01 PM]
  218. Unfortunately, what might've been dramatically appropriate didn't happen, as the Cubchoo slips out of the biting range of Sully. Trainer actions.
  219.
  220. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:02 PM]
  221. Given Sully's relative success thus far, Finn figures it appropriate that he at least try to keep Sully in the game. At the very least it's good experience, and if they lose, it's worth the try. So, he hits Sully with that POTION.
  222.
  223. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:05 PM]
  224. Sully is healed for two health, reducing his pain penalty to ZILCH.
  225.
  226. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:06 PM]
  227. MY BOYYYY
  228.
  229. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:08 PM]
  230. "Oler, they've healed back up! If we focus, we'll get this one out of the fight before you get hurt!" Bonus to damage.
  231. "Try another Powder Snow!" Those accursed snowflakes come back, but not quite in the same density. Two successes, if you're interested in dodging.
  232.
  233. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:09 PM]
  234. "Sully, out of the way!" Fuck yeah we're dodging that that shit's got more damage it already gets +1 damage from se
  235. 4d6 fuck man
  236.
  237. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:09 PM]
  238. @Goatwright#9050: "fuck man": [5, 3, 6, 1] -> **15**
  239.
  240. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:10 PM]
  241. That there's a successful dodge, as Sully weaves through the snowflakes like the ship in a shmup. Since you rolled 4d6, I presume there's another action coming?
  242.
  243. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:10 PM]
  244. You fuckin' KNOW IT
  245. "Sully, we've got to get some damage on him so he hits less accurately! Get in there with a Wing Attack! It'll hit the hardest!"
  246. 1d6 ALL WE NEED IIIIIIIIIIIIIIS
  247.
  248. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  249. @Goatwright#9050: "ALL WE NEED IIIIIIIIIIIIIIS": [5] -> **5**
  250.
  251. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  252. YESSSSSSSSSS
  253.
  254. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  255. Defense is 2, my man.
  256.
  257. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  258. 3D6 HE'S COMIN' HE'S COMIN' HE'S COMIN'
  259. 3d6 Sorry I got too hyped
  260.
  261. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  262. @Goatwright#9050: "Sorry I got too hyped": [6, 2, 4] -> **12**
  263.
  264. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:11 PM]
  265. YEAHHHHH BOYYYY
  266.
  267. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:14 PM]
  268. That's two health off the Cubchoo, giving him a pain penalization of -1.
  269.
  270. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:14 PM]
  271. We'll take it
  272. "Alright, Sully, you're back in the fight!" He gives his zubat a proud look. "Now you've got the dodging down, so let's focus on getting more hits in! Make your next hit count!"
  273.
  274. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:20 PM]
  275. Accuracy bonus. "His dodges are way good, Oler! Aim true with a Brine attack!" Rather than a wave of snowflakes, it's a wave of quite dense water, and it threatens to take out Sully like the first Powder Snow! 4 successes to beat.
  276.
  277. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:21 PM]
  278. Hooo my word.
  279. "Alright, Sully, that one's coming too close! Focus on getting away!"
  280. 8d6 Don't you fuck me this time bot
  281.
  282. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:21 PM]
  283. @Goatwright#9050: "Don't you fuck me this time bot": [4, 2, 5, 3, 2, 6, 3, 1] -> **26**
  284.
  285. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:21 PM]
  286. ughhhh you did it mechamicus
  287.
  288. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:24 PM]
  289. It's not enough, unfortunately, and just at the last moment, a snowflake goes careening into his wings.
  290. 4d6
  291.
  292. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:24 PM]
  293. @Nachtimus#1770: [5, 6, 2, 1] -> **14**
  294.
  295. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:24 PM]
  296. 1d6
  297.
  298. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:24 PM]
  299. @Nachtimus#1770: [6] -> **6**
  300.
  301. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:24 PM]
  302. Not only does Sully take 3 damage, but he is frozen in place.
  303.
  304. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:25 PM]
  305. But this is a brine attack
  306.
  307. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:25 PM]

  316. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:25 PM]
  317. oh right stab
  318. anyways Sully *actually* takes two damage, and is not frozen, although he shivers some now that he's really cold.
  319. His pain penalization is -2 now.
  320.
  321. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:27 PM]
  322. Fukk. "It's alright, Sully! You can do it!"
  323. "Next time around, focus on hitting again! We'll try to get some of that health back!"
  324.
  325. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:30 PM]
  326. Accuracy bonus. "Brine it again, Oler! It'll go down if you hit it right!" Another Brine goes rushing out, but despite the wide area of effect, it fukn misses.
  327. It misses super hard.
  328. Like wow.
  329.
  330. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:30 PM]
  331. Thank you baby jesus
  332. truly there is a god
  333. "Alright, Sully! There's our opening! Go for the Leech Life!"
  334. 5d6 SINGLE ACTION BOYYYY
  335.
  336. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [17-May-17 11:31 PM]
  337. @Goatwright#9050: "SINGLE ACTION BOYYYY": [1, 6, 5, 4, 2] -> **18**
  338.
  339. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:32 PM]
  340. yhit

  343. 1d6 Wait shit I do no damage as a result of the pain though

  349. Sully does 1 damage, healing none, as he bites into the Cubchoo. Its pain penalization is also -2.
  350. Trainer action!
  351.
  352. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:35 PM]

  354.
  355. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:37 PM]
  356. Damage boost. "Alright, Brine's not working, aim and try another Slash, but hold back!" That's another Slash coming for Sully, with 2 successes to beat in order to evade.
  357.
  358. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:38 PM]
  359. "Take it, Sully! The pain might drop the damage enough to tank it! I believe in you!"

  409.
  410. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:48 PM]
  411. Inigo rolls his head as you heal Sully back up to 3 HP.
  412. "C'mon Oler, this fight's gone on too long! Aim true with a Powder Snow!" They're baaaaack. Two successes to dodge out.
  413.

  437. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:53 PM]
  438. "Alright, Sully, we're back in the game! Just get one attack off, make it hit, and we're home free. Got it?"
  439.
  440. Nachtimus#1770 [17-May-17 11:54 PM]
  441. "Again! Powder Snow!" Inigo grows impatient, forgetting to urge his Cubchoo to focus on the hit. The snowflakes fail to reach Sully even without a dodge.
  442.
  443. Goatwright#9050 [17-May-17 11:55 PM]
  444. Noooice.

  486. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:02 AM]
  487. "It's weak as it is! Hit it with an Ice Shard!" The Snover picks up a piece of ice off the floor and throws it, flying towards Sully. Four successes to dodge.
  488. Oh, another thing that happens when the Snover is called out: It starts to hail.
  489.
  490. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:04 AM]
  491. Ughhh fuck it I'm gonna just let Sully face-check it cause this will go on forever

  536. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:11 AM]
  537. It takes two damage, healing Sully for 1, and trainer actions start now.

  539. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:11 AM]
  540. Well it's wing attack so it ain't healin' for shit
  541. Does the hail deal damage?
  542.
  543. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:14 AM]
  544. Iiii was actually not aware that Hail gave 2 defense to Ice types. So your wing attack only did 1 damage, and Sully will take 1 damage as well.
  545.
  546. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:15 AM]
  547. Dam
  548. Well now that's Sully down
  549. Finn calls Sully back, smiling down at the ball. "You did great, bud. Good experience! We'll just have to work on getting you to start up a little quicker."
  550. With that, Finn sends out the one, the only, AELLA.
  551.
  552. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:17 AM]
  553. Roll initiative for Aella.

  562. Aella wins initiative.
  563.
  564. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:19 AM]
  565. And it's got a defense of 4 right now?
  566.
  567. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:20 AM]
  568. Yep.
  569.
  570. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:20 AM]
  571. Finn nods. "Alright, Aella, let's soften this overgrown tree up! Start us off with an Arm Thrust, and keep going til you run out of steam!" One action, but it's multi-hit.
  572. That being said, all of these will hit at 0 damage from its defense, so I'm just gonna keep rolling to-hit to wrack up the Super Effective damage, if that works.
  573. 6d6 A-assuming it does
  574.
  575. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [18-May-17 12:23 AM]

  628. Finn can't help but grin. "Great work, Aella! That's what I'm talking about. We'll have to make sure we follow that up with something that'll hit!"
  629.
  630. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:30 AM]
  631. Accuracy. "You know the plan, Arbolito, but make sure it hurts this time!"
  632. Aella's go.
  633.
  634. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:37 AM]
  635. "Alright, Aella, go for the Night Slash! Hold back, but make sure to knock it out!" Queueing up a multiple action in preparation for the ice shard.
  636.
  637. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:38 AM]

  672. Finn exhales. Phew. "That one hit hard, jeez."
  673.
  674. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:45 AM]
  675. You hear a confident, slow clapping from the sideline, and as you turn to see the source of the clapping, you see an Ursaring of a man, with a thick beard, a strong build, large winter clothing, and a smirk on his face. Also a bandage wrapped around his left forearm and part of his hand. "Well done," he speaks, his baritone voice seeping with pride. "Both you and Inigo."
  676.
  677. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:46 AM]
  678. Woah holy shit look at this fucker

  681.
  682. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:48 AM]
  683. Johnny puts his hand on Inigo's shoulder. "We must talk of your impatience in battle, later. It did not lose you the battle, but it lost you the fight against his Zubat." Inigo meekly nods. "Yes, Johnny," and he makes his leave.
  684.
  685. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:49 AM]
  686. Finn kinda feels bad, sorry Inigo. : (

  694.
  695. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:51 AM]
  696. Your hand is not crushed, thankfully. "You can heal your Pokemon over there," as he points out the healing machine.
  697.
  698. Goatwright#9050 [18-May-17 12:52 AM]
  699. "Oh, perfect. Thank you." Finn pats Aella on the head before calling his Pokemon back and heading over to the machine to heal them up.
  700. "Hey, by the way." He makes light conversation while his Pokemon heal up, as is traditonal for him. "After our battle, do you think you could look at an egg for me? Somebody told me you're from Sinnoh."
  701.
  702. Nachtimus#1770 [18-May-17 12:55 AM]
  703. Boop boop boop-e-boop.

  842.
  843. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 12:42 AM]
  844. Finn, meanwhile, is being a gud boy. He heads off to the nearest Pokemart to get some good ol' HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRAINING kibble.
  845.
  846. Cactus#6981 [27-Jul-17 12:43 AM]
  847. Elsewhere, Terrance is sleeping in
  848.
  849. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 12:43 AM]
  850. Your nearest Pokemart does indeed stock such items.
  851.
  852. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 12:51 AM]
  853. Finn buys a whole 1.5k worth of high-performance kibble, slapping the fat bucks down on the counter.
  854.
  855. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 12:54 AM]
  856. Woowee mama, that's a fat stack of dough, thinks the clerk as he rings your purchase up.
  857.
  858. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 12:56 AM]
  859. Finn picks up his 5 bags of glorified Purina dog food and goes to find somewhere with a lot of trainers and generally good open-spaces. Maybe back to that park.
  860.
  861. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 12:57 AM]
  862. The park beckons to you. You find yourself drawn to the park. The park needs you. You need the park. It is you. You are it.
  863.
  864. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 12:57 AM]
  865. pls stop
  866.
  867. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 12:57 AM]
  868. You're at the park.
  869.
  870. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 01:02 AM]
  871. Finn is at the park. He finds somewhere kinda decently shaded, and lets out all his Pokemon he keeps letting down.
  872. "So, uh, hey guys. How you all feeling? How's morale?"
  873.
  874. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:09 AM]
  875. Sully sits down on the ground so as not to tower over you, appearing sympathetic. Aella seems a little downtrodden, but still optimistic. Alvis doesn't seem to care much about the loss. Beckett looks ticked off, and little Ruya is somewhat oblivious to what'd happened.
  876.
  877. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 01:19 AM]
  878. Finn sighs. He pats Beckett sympathetically. "I know, Beckett. But I've got a plan. We're gonna work on it today."
  879. "I've got a good training session all lined up, but first thing's first, I've bought you all some special food! It's supposed to give you some extra energy for longer exercises."
  880. Finn grabs his lil' feeding trays and fills that shit up with this high-octane premium diesel bath and bodyworks dog chow.
  881.
  882. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:23 AM]
  883. The Pokemon chow down on this V8, 500-rapidash-power, 12 cylinder kibble.
  884.
  885. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 01:34 AM]
  886. Finn shoves all this chromed out Valhallan masterpiece down their throats.
  887.
  888. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:34 AM]
  889. MOVING ON
  890. Your Pokemon have eaten, and are energized, ready to train.
  891.
  892. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 01:35 AM]
  893. Finn nods. "First thing's first, we're gonna start off with a battle. I think the training will be a good opportunity to wind down, but I think we need to talk strategy more than physique. So let's go see if we can get someone to fight."
  894. Finn covers his eyes from the deadly laser and looks around for any would-be trainers with their own Pokemon out.
  895.
  896. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:39 AM]
  897. 1d6
  898.
  899. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [27-Jul-17 01:39 AM]
  900. @Nachtimus#1770: [1] -> **1**
  901.
  902. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:39 AM]
  903. You look and look for someone to fight.
  904. But no one came.
  905.
  906. Doe Heart#8349 [27-Jul-17 01:42 AM]
  907. it's a desert you nerd

  910.
  911. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 01:43 AM]
  912. Finn calls back his 5 lovely Pokemen.
  913. And he goes around town to start trying to find people to BAYTLE.
  914.
  915. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:44 AM]
  916. 1d6
  917.
  918. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [27-Jul-17 01:44 AM]
  919. @Nachtimus#1770: [6] -> **6**
  920.
  921. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 01:47 AM]
  922. You find, wandering around, no shortage of trainers. Seems they were all just not at the park for some reason. Are you looking for someone strong or just someone to fight?
  923.
  924. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:05 AM]
  925. Someone STRONG. We're doin' this for HOT XP GAINS.
  926. Gimme them level 20 goons I want that hot 4 XP
  927.
  928. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:06 AM]
  929. ~~You find a level 50 goon.~~
  930.
  931. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:06 AM]
  932. Finn turns away.
  933. Wrong goon for me, sir.
  934.
  935. Doe Heart#8349 [27-Jul-17 02:07 AM]
  936. Do people just stand around looking for battles?
  937.
  938. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 02:07 AM]
  939. where do u think u are
  940.
  941. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:09 AM]
  942. You see someone who looks to be arguably on par with you, with the same number of Pokemon on his belt as you.
  943.
  944. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:11 AM]
  945. Fast-forward through the BATTLE
  946. And Finn is back in the PARK with the BOYS N' GALS.
  947.
  948. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:12 AM]
  949. Your Pokemon are in an ambivalent state of either jolliness or malaise.
  950.
  951. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:14 AM]
  952. Schrodinger's Pokemon.
  953. "Alright, now we're on to the training part, and I've been thinking this one up all night."
  954.
  955. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:17 AM]
  956. They await your instructions.
  957.
  958. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:19 AM]
  959. Finn looks off into the distance of the park. He's reasonably confident in the intelligence of his Pokemon to understand the exercise. "Alright guys, here's the deal. This is another competitive challenge, and you have leeway to do anything in your powers to help you find what you're looking for. Flight, speed, strength, uh..." He looks to Ruya. "Psychic ability. So long as it's not disturbing the locals or doing anything illegal." He looks to Alvis for that particular warning.
  960. "Got it so far?"
  961.
  962. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:20 AM]
  963. You get a collective nod.
  964.
  965. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:23 AM]
  966. "You're all gonna break out from here and find a Xatu feather," Finn shows them a Xatu on his 'Nav for reference. "A pot that looks like this.." Finn shows them a common pot that he's been finding around the city, decorated with a green stripe through the middle, often as decoration from city officials. Something that isn't necessarily, you know, stealing. "..and a berry."
  967. Can I actually roll Nature real quick to see what kinda berries grow in this region
  968. or area of the region even
  969.
  970. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:23 AM]
  971. Insight+Knowledge+Nature.

  978.
  979. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:25 AM]
  980. You're gonna be hard pressed to find berries, but you know Rawst Berry plants would probably grow around the oasis.
  981.
  982. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:25 AM]
  983. "A Rawst berry, specifically." Finn shows them a pic of a Rawst berry. "And no eating it!" He looks to Ruya, the tasty berry eater.
  984. "Whoever wins gets the last bit of honey and high-quality snacks that I have saved in my bag. Everything clear? Anybody confused?"
  985.
  986. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 02:31 AM]

1004. Your Pokemon seem to understand.
  1005.
  1006. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:37 AM]
1007. "Alright. I'll be sitting here. Go, go, go!" Finn sends his Pokemon on their way.
  1008.
  1009. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:37 AM]
1010. Your Pokemon go swiftly away, Ruya, Sully, and Aella flying away, Beckett sliding, and Alvis just floating away.
  1011. You're left alone.
  1012.
  1013. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:39 AM]
1014. Finn plops down on his butt in the shade and relaxes. He takes the time to check his Pokenav for any big news or text messages or how his blog is holdin' up.
1015. Maybe somebody cool hit him up.
  1016.
  1017. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:47 AM]
1018. The biggest news being covered would be an increase in missing persons reports, the most notable trend being the lack of any commonalities between all the missing people.
  1019.
  1020. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:47 AM]
1021. Finn exhales. Jeez, all these missing dudes.
  1022.
  1023. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 02:47 AM]
  1024. 😰
  1025. Any notable missing persons?
  1026.
  1027. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:48 AM]
  1028. None so far.
  1029.
  1030. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:51 AM]
1031. Finn decides to shoot a text message to TERRENCE the gym leader.
  1032. <hey terrence howve you been?>
  1033.
  1034. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 02:56 AM]
1035. <Hey, finn. Ive been fine whats up?>
  1036.
  1037. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 02:58 AM]
1038. <I just wanted to check up cuz it had been a while and i kno uve been kinda down about the job since we last met>
  1039.
  1040. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:00 AM]
1041. <Appreciate it, I guess. Put in a request to change my gym.>
  1042.
  1043. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:03 AM]
  1044. <no way! to what?>
  1045.
  1046. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:05 AM]
1047. <Well its still going to be a normal gym, but I want to get rid of the gimmick and the show. No one else does anything like it, and i dont think people like it.>
  1048.
  1049. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:09 AM]
1050. <thats awesome, do you think youll enjoy it a lot more after?>
  1051.
  1052. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:10 AM]

  1056. <how long does a request take?>
  1057.
  1058. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:11 AM]
  1059. <Depends but ive been waiting for a while>
  1060.
  1061. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:15 AM]
1062. <got anything to cheer you in the meantime?>
  1063.
  1064. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:22 AM]
  1065. <What do you mean?>
1066. Aella comes flying back. She holds up a pot with a look of confusion. The stripe is blue-green, and she seems to be wondering if this counts.
  1067.
  1068. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:24 AM]
  1069. <idk like friends or a gf or something>
  1070.
  1071. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:26 AM]
  1072. <I have friends>
  1073.
  1074. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:26 AM]
1075. Finn looks to the pot. Does it look like it's just faded, or is it painted an obvious different color?
  1076.
  1077. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:27 AM]
  1078. hi
  1079.
  1080. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:27 AM]
  1081. It's pretty old looking.
1082. Marlene, you see Finn and Aella talking about an old pot.
  1083.
  1084. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:28 AM]
1085. She heads on 'twards em. "Hey! What's the pot for?"
  1086.
  1087. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:29 AM]
1088. About this time, Beckett returns, holding a Xatu in his arms. It doesn't seem pleased, but it's not struggling, as if it's resigned to its fate.
  1089.
  1090. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:29 AM]
1091. "Is- Is that someone's Xatu? Finn, what's going on?"
  1092.
  1093. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:32 AM]
1094. Finn nods. "Alright, Aella, that counts. Good job! You can set it down here." Finn makes a little section for her, then waves to Marlene as she arrives. "Hey! It's part of our training."
1095. He stops once Beckett comes barreling in with a Xatu, and he just.. *stares*.
  1096.
  1097. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:33 AM]
  1098. The Xatu stares back.
  1099.
  1100. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:33 AM]
  1101. "Did you...need a Xatu?"
  1102.
  1103. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:34 AM]
1104. Finn rubs his face. "Beckett, a *whole* Xatu does not count. You don't get bonus points for number of feathers. I mean.. I'm *impressed*, but you ask before you pluck one off it!"
1105. He gives Xatu an apologetic look, then looks to Marlene. "I have all of them looking for three items around the city, specifically *legally*, using their skills to get all 3 first."
1106. "It uses their brains and trains their bodies and speed."
  1107.
  1108. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:36 AM]
1109. "Oh, I get it." She plops down beside him. "What're Alvis and Sully looking for?"
  1110.
  1111. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:37 AM]
1112. Beckett picks a few features from the Xatu then lets it go. It takes a moment before flying away, and Beckett goes rushing back out.
  1113.
  1114. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:39 AM]
1115. Finn scoots close. "They're all actually looking for the three same things. It's whoever can get the three first."
  1116.
  1117. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:39 AM]
1118. Sully and Ruya seem to be racing each other back, although Ruya seems to be distracted by the flying of a Xatu, and thus, Sully gets to you first. In his mouth, he holds a feather and a berry.
  1119.
  1120. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:39 AM]
1121. Finn nods, quite impressed, and sets the feather and the berry in Sully's pile. "Good job, bud! One last thing for you." Scritch scritch.
  1122.
  1123. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:40 AM]
1124. Sully swooshes off before Ruya returns, and also has a berry and a feather, the latter of which is freshly picked.
  1125.
  1126. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:40 AM]
1127. Oh, and he goes back to text Terrence too. <i wasnt saying you dont have friends im sorry>

  1163. M: <hold on>
1164. Marlene, after a minute, you get an image of an Eevee with a little bow. It's got very cute eyes.

  1185. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 03:57 AM]
1186. Finn waits to see what tf his Pokemon are up to.
  1187.
  1188. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 03:57 AM]

  1197.
  1198. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 03:59 AM]
1199. FInn, Alvis returns with a pot with a berry within it.
  1200.
  1201. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:01 AM]
1202. Finn nods, patting Alvis and setting aside the pot and the berry. "Good job, Alvis! One more thing for you to find."
  1203.
  1204. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 04:02 AM]
1205. Beckett slides in with a pot, and slides back out before you can offer encouragement.
  1206.
  1207. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:03 AM]
1208. The pot is set aside as well. Man, it's close.
1209. Aella: Pot but it's old af
  1210. Sully: Berry and feather
1211. Ruya: Berry and feather too?
  1212. Alvis: Pot and berry
1213. Beckett: Pot and feather but like a million feathers
  1214.
  1215. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:04 AM]
  1216. <btw did i tell u finn and i are dating?>

1222. <finn! the guy with the red jacket.>
  1223.
  1224. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 04:06 AM]
1225. Aella comes racing back with a berry and a feather, marking the end of the competition.
  1226. <oh! well congrats!>
  1227.
  1228. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:07 AM]
  1229. <yea....>
1230. man w/e at least finn isn't an ASSHOLE
  1231.
  1232. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 04:11 AM]
1233. From here, you can see Ruya dragging a pot along, and she would've gotten second place had Sully not swept in and taken it from her. As Ruya turns in her pot, you realize this one was packed full of dirt, and thus made it significantly harder for her to carry.
1234. Alvis then returns with a feather, getting fourth place, leaving Beckett in last place.
  1235.
  1236. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:13 AM]
1237. <anyways i hope we can see u guys soon. tell maisey i said hi and i think her eevee is adorable! talk to u later>

  1240. <ill give it a hug for you!>
  1241.
  1242. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:14 AM]
1243. Finn nods, content with how his Pokemon did. He offers each of them their berries back in case they wanna eat them, otherwise he'll save them if they ain't about the BITTER.
  1244.
  1245. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:14 AM]
1246. not as cute as luna tho
  1247.
  1248. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:14 AM]
1249. He also gives Aella her price of honey and remaining goodie food. "Great job, guys. You all did really well! Way faster than I was expecting."
  1250.
  1251. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 04:16 AM]
1252. Beckett eats that shit up, and Aella seems to shy away from the bitter berry, opting to enjoy the honey instead. The others don't seem to mind the taste. You're left with one berry.
1253. Beckett seems frumpy about being in last, but can't complain when he's got a berry that tastes as good as it does.
  1254.
  1255. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:18 AM]
1256. "Hey, Finn, Maisey got an Eeevee! Isn't it adorable?" Marlene shows him the PICCY.
  1257.
  1258. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Jul-17 04:20 AM]
1259. You now notice that Beckett has Rawst berry juice all over his mouth.
  1260.
  1261. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:21 AM]
1262. Finn packs the berry into his bag. One (1) Rawst berry get! Finn just pats the Beckett, then turns to look at the picture. "Oh, wow! How cool. Aren't those kinda rare?"
  1263. 8d6 Sully

  1292.
  1293. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:27 AM]
1294. Finn shrugs. "I think you've got cuter Pokemon anyway, personally."
  1295. "And they were free."
  1296.
  1297. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Jul-17 04:29 AM]
1298. "Oh definitely, it's not cuter than my little Luna."
  1299.
  1300. Goatwright#9050 [27-Jul-17 04:29 AM]
1301. "Bitsy's definitely up there in the cute factor, too!"

  1310. oh....
  1311.
  1312. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:16 PM]
1313. "Soooo...do you think they can manage on their own?"
  1314.
  1315. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:17 PM]
1316. Finn heads on back over to the apartment complex with Marlene. "Well, Terry's smart enough. I don't know enough about Harmony to be a hundred percent confident, but Terry's right. The rest of us can't do it."
  1317.
  1318. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:18 PM]
  1319. Marlene shrugs. "I can't disagree."
  1320.
  1321. Doe Heart#8349 [27-Aug-17 08:18 PM]
  1322. wow.

1328. wtf that's not an insult doe they've known her for like two days
1329. Finn heads back into the lobby of the apartment complex. "Is it more or less suspicious to take the elevator?"
  1330.
  1331. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:23 PM]
  1332. "Um...does it matter? "
  1333. "I guess it'd be less suspicious."
  1334.
  1335. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:26 PM]
1336. Finn shrugs, heading over to the elevator and clicking the call button.
  1337.
  1338. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 08:27 PM]
1339. The elevator will take you where you need to go. It is loyal, infallibile, and unyielding. Ever shall it follow your commands.
  1340.
  1341. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:28 PM]
1342. No need to be so dramatic, elevator jeez
  1343.
  1344. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:28 PM]
1345. He steps inside with Marlene and heads up to the proper floor. "Kinda nerve-wracking, huh?"
  1346.
  1347. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:29 PM]
1348. "Yea, I'm getting goosebumps." Marlene rubs her arms and takes a deep breath.
1349. She then grabs his hand, squeezing it. "At least we're in it together."
  1350.
  1351. Doe Heart#8349 [27-Aug-17 08:31 PM]
  1352. gay
  1353.
  1354. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:31 PM]
1355. Finn smiles and squeezes her hand in turn, then stealthily sticks his head out to look down the hall for any big spooky men.
  1356.
  1357. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 08:32 PM]
1358. None that you can see.
  1359.
  1360. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:32 PM]
1361. He looks to Marlene. "Think we should wait and see if anybody comes out of her room?"
  1362.
  1363. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:32 PM]
1364. youre gay ill put u in the fukn ground do u hear me

1368. "Here." Finn just texts Terry and Harmony. <Tell us when the landlord shows up>
  1369. <or if hes in there u kno what i mean>
  1370.
  1371. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:38 PM]
  1372. "Good thinking."
  1373.
  1374. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:38 PM]
1375. Finn awaits their confirmation to GO IN.
1376. "Alright, Terry said she's in the office. Let's roll out."
1377. Finn sneaky-mans over to their new lady friend's door to give it a good knockin'.
  1378.
  1379. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:45 PM]
  1380. ROLLIN OUT
  1381.
  1382. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:45 PM]
  1383. *Knock knock*.

  1385. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 08:46 PM]
1386. ~~open up the door it's real~~ The door is opened ever so slightly after a moment, and you hear the lady loud-whisper, "I thought I told you to *leave*."
  1387.
  1388. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:47 PM]
1389. "We're sorry! We just want to ask you some questions, that's all."
  1390.
  1391. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 08:47 PM]
1392. "I am going to get in so much trouble if my boss sees you guys again."
  1393.
  1394. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:49 PM]
1395. "He won't see us, trust me. We'll be really quick, I promise."
  1396.
  1397. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:50 PM]
  1398. "That's part of why we're back."
1399. "We kind of know your boss."
  1400.
  1401. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:51 PM]
  1402. "In a way."
  1403.
  1404. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 08:52 PM]
1405. She looks back into her room, then back to you. "Look, could we do this later, somewhere else? I don't want to talk here."
  1406.
  1407. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 08:53 PM]
  1408. "When and where?"
  1409.
  1410. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 08:58 PM]
1411. this is all a huge ruse to lower our guard
1412. the whole town is in on it, even the arcanine
  1413.
  1414. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 09:05 PM]
1415. She thinks for a moment, very clearly not wanting to deal with you all anymore. "There's a bar called the Leaky Barrel. Be there in an hour."
  1416.
  1417. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:05 PM]
  1418. "We'll be there."

  1422.
  1423. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:09 PM]
1424. Once they're away from the door, Marlene looks to Finn. "'Leaky Barrel'? Sounds kinda cheesy."

1430. Marlene, Finn, you too hear sirens.
  1431.
  1432. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:11 PM]
  1433. <Terry what did you do??>
  1434.

  1438. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:12 PM]
1439. "Aren't all bar names kinda cheesy?" Finn checks his phone.
  1440. "Oh."
  1441.
  1442. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 09:13 PM]
1443. The sirens grow louder. They're very clearly going towards the apartment complex that you're in.
  1444.
  1445. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:13 PM]
  1446. "Damnit." <r u guys still in the apartment>
  1447.
  1448. Cactus#6981 [27-Aug-17 09:13 PM]
1449. <The cops are on their way, me and harms got out though.>
  1450.
  1451. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:13 PM]
1452. "Oh shit, did they like, break into his office?"
1453. "Are we gonna get arrested?!"
  1454.
  1455. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:14 PM]
1456. "Terry says they got out. Maybe the cops missed them." <where r u guys?>
  1457.
  1458. Cactus#6981 [27-Aug-17 09:14 PM]
  1459. <We booked it down the street>
  1460.
  1461. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 09:15 PM]
1462. The sirens reach an apex of loudness, then they turn off as they presumably have reached their destination
  1463.
  1464. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:15 PM]
1465. "Okay, okay, we gotta act cool. We didn't do anything wrong anyway."
1466. Finn steps into the elevator.
  1467.
  1468. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:16 PM]
1469. <*where*> "Just relax, they aren't looking for *us*. We'll be fine."
  1470.
  1471. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:17 PM]
1472. Goin' down. Deep breaths, Finn.
  1473.

1487. You manage to calm down enough to where you don't look like someone who committed a crime.
  1488.
  1489. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:22 PM]
1490. Cool. Finn wraps his arm around Marlene's. "Sorry. I don't like cops."
  1491.
  1492. Hippocratesi#9485 [27-Aug-17 09:23 PM]
1493. "Not a big fan either, honestly." She pats his arm.
  1494.
  1495. Nachtimus#1770 [27-Aug-17 09:23 PM]
1496. The elevator reaches the ground floor.
  1497.
  1498. Goatwright#9050 [27-Aug-17 09:24 PM]
1499. Finn exits the apartment with Marlene, hopefully without any trouble. He checks his Pokenav and hits up the group again. <Terry where did you guys go>

  1529. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 10:32 PM]
1530. The fridge is available to you, by way of Finns' parents, and you find basically anything you'd expect in your average fridge belonging to a married couple.
  1531.
  1532. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 10:33 PM]
1533. Terry will take some berries and a juice and go lounge in Finn's room.

1536. Then you get to see the sheer embarrassment that is Finn's room, musty with the smell of archival.

  1543.
  1544. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 10:35 PM]
1545. Terry bristles under its unflinching gaze, there is something eldrich about this room.
1546. Terry can't take this awful poster anymore, and vacates this room post haste.

1555. You find Mr. Finn watching television in the living room.

  1557. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 10:54 PM]
  1558. "Hello Mr. Finn."
  1559.
  1560. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 10:55 PM]
1561. "Ah, hey. You're still around? I would've thought you'd have gone with Junior and his girlfriend."
  1562.
  1563. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 10:55 PM]
1564. "Aw, no they ditched me again. I was gonna hang out till my ride got here."

1570. "So, um. Finn's a pretty active kid."
  1571.
  1572. Goatwright#9050 [04-Oct-17 10:58 PM]
  1573. oh my god
  1574.
  1575. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 10:59 PM]
1576. "Mm. He's always been like that. Back when he was a kid, if he wasn't in his room, he was out looking for conspiracies or what have you."
  1577.
  1578. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:00 PM]
1579. "Yeah, he's actually got a real good eye from it. He was the one who found those pokemon in the power plant who were on their last legs, so to speak."
  1580.
  1581. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:02 PM]
1582. "I remember, I watched the broadcast. To be honest, I wasn't really sure about him going off and being a trainer until I saw him making a difference. His mom's been nagging me about it, but I say if he can do that in, what, two weeks? Imagine what he'll do in the next two."
  1583.
  1584. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:03 PM]
1585. Terry nods, "He's always looking for something to do and willing to just dive into whatever challenge he finds. Which is why it's really strange how reluctant he was to come here for this gym."
  1586.
  1587. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:06 PM]
1588. "It's probably the leader, Stevie. He, uh... Well, I don't wanna get too into it, but he's made decisions that did our family wrong, so Junior hates him. I'm pretty sure he's the whole reason he's on this whole conspiracy kick. I mean, I don't like the selfish prick, but, hey, what're you gonna do?"
  1589.
  1590. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:09 PM]
1591. "Are you sure that's just it? I don't want to like - intrude or whatever, cause it's really not my place to pry, but Finn was really uncomfortable taking us here to meet you two. Moreso than I think is normal."
  1592.
  1593. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:09 PM]
1594. He shrugs. "Really hates that Stevie guy."
  1595.
  1596. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:10 PM]
1597. Terry isn't convinced at all, but drops that line of questions, "So how much has he told you about our adventures?"
  1598.
  1599. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:11 PM]
1600. He waves dismissively. "He doesn't give me the play-by-play, but general things. The power plant, the gyms, gettin' a girl, that kinda stuff."
  1601.
  1602. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:11 PM]
1603. "Did he tell you about how we ghost-hunted for the Ghost-Gym leader? That was really exciting."
1604. "Or that time we tracked down a Growlithe pack that was terrorizing some locals?"
1605. "Or that one time we were at a science center in the middle of an attack by Team Terra and Finn stepped up to the plate and got everyone out of there?"
  1606.
  1607. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:14 PM]
1608. His eyebrow perks. "Nah, he hasn't. I'll have to ask him about all that." He then grumbles under his breath, "Not like it'd kill him to call more often."
  1609.
  1610. Cactus#6981 [04-Oct-17 11:15 PM]
1611. Terry gives a little lighthearted laugh, "You know Finn, he's too busy with the next adventure to remember to stop and check in."
  1612.
  1613. Nachtimus#1770 [04-Oct-17 11:17 PM]
1614. Senior gives an unconvinced sound as Finn and company return to the apartmentover at #pokemon
  1615.
  1616. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 08:41 PM]
1617. Cloudy isn't so bad, long as there's a nice breeze to go with it. Marlene calls out Hector, Luna, and Kamina. He hasn't been out in a while so it'd be good for him to stretch his wings and also get some training in. "Hey guys! We're gonna do some training today. It's a bit cloudy but it *shouldn't* start raining on us." How's everyone lookin'?
  1618.
  1619. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 08:45 PM]
1620. Hector is as slow as ever, but is ready to train. Luna is, like usual, hard to read, but you're pretty sure she's down to train. Kamina stretches his wings and preens himself, with not a terrible amount of care going into it.
  1621.
  1622. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 08:47 PM]
  1623. hell yea
1624. before i go forward, is there anything specific in teaching a new move?
1625. Like the book doesn't seem to specifically say it anymore, but if they have enough XP to learn the move, if I go into the training session with the intent of learning that move, do they just learn it?
  1626. anywhere* rather
  1627.
  1628. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 08:51 PM]
1629. Try to tailor the training session around learning that move in particular.
  1630.
  1631. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 08:53 PM]
1632. I knew that much but it only says it lowers the xp cost by 1 each time
  1633.
  1634. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 08:54 PM]
1635. Oooh, yeah, if you ahve the XP for the move, they will just learn it.
  1636.
  1637. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 08:55 PM]
  1638. d'okay
  1639.
  1640. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:03 PM]
1641. "Alllright, so..." Marlene looks to big boy Hector. "I think you and your tail are starting to sorta work together so I was thinking we could help you learn a new Psychic move....which is called Psychic. So!" Marlene taps her chin. How're they gonna do this? "Psychic is basically using your psychic energy to hurt your opponent. A kind of telekinetic force. It's sorta like what you and Luna did way back when you were still a Slowpoke, if you remember." He probably doesn't. She looks around the park. Are there any big rocks around? Not like huge boulders but not a little pebble either.
  1642.
  1643. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 09:09 PM]
1644. Sure, there's a few sizeable rocks. Stuff that'd do damage if you threw it at a car, but nothing so large you couldn't hold it in one hand.
  1645.
  1646. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:13 PM]
1647. Good enough. Marlene grabs one of these sizeable rocks and plants it in front of Hector. "So, what I want you to do is try to break this rock with your mind. Pretend it's an enemy pokemon, like um...a Geodude, I guess. Work with the Corsola back there and focus. Become as one, to say it more dramatically." Does he understand??
  1648.
  1649. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 09:20 PM]
1650. Hector stares at you blankly for some time, before the Corsola upon his tail gnaws down, prompting Hector to get a spike of lucidity, and nods to you.
  1651.
  1652. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:22 PM]
1653. Good boy. "Good! I'll come check on you in a bit." Marlene heads over to Kamina. Time to figure somethin' out for him. "Hi! Sorry, it's been a while. We haven't done a lot of fighting." She reaches over to stroke his neck. Maybe he's not too mad.
  1654.
  1655. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 09:26 PM]
1656. He permits you to stroke his neck. He's bothered, but he's not so bothered as to not forgive you.
  1657.
  1658. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:30 PM]
1659. "I thought I'd let you out for today, stretch your wings a bit. Do a little training since we haven't done that in a bit." Marlene looks around the park again, gettin' the gears turning. Are there berry bushes around the park?
  1660.
  1661. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 09:32 PM]
1662. A few, but since this is a public area, many of them don't appear to be bearing any berries, or at the very least, none that are appetizing.
  1663.
  1664. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:33 PM]
1665. rip there goes that plan
  1666. uhhhhhh
1667. Are there any rows of trees? Like close together
1668. i guess i might as well explain what i want to do to make things easier
1669. initially i wanted to send him up and make him find a certain berry, to test out his scouting capabilities
1670. but since that won't really work right now, i wanted to go like uhhh
1671. zoom between and in and out of trees, testing his quick thinking and dexterity
  1672.
  1673. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 09:51 PM]
1674. You can find a row of trees which will suffice for your training desires.
  1675.
  1676. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 09:55 PM]
1677. Gud gud. "Okay, I think I've got it! See those trees over there?" Marlene points to 'em. "You're pretty fast so let's work on that. I want you to fly in and out of those trees as fast as you can. Try and dodge around the branches and trunks as best you can. Think you can do it? It'll be good exercise for your wings."
  1678.
  1679. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:00 PM]
1680. Kamina takes to the skies, perching on one of the trees, waiting for your signal. At about this time, you hear a crunching of a rock, as you see a significant crack in that rock in front of Hector. He doesn't seem to understand what he's done, and in fact, worries that he might be in trouble.
  1681.
  1682. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:03 PM]
1683. Marlene turns back and sees Hector's SUCCESS. "Hey, you did it!" She heads on over and gives the two of them congratulatory pats. "Good job, Hector! I'm so proud of you!"
1684. She also turns to Luna, who's probly feelin a bit ignored. "I'll be right with you, Luna! I've got something special for you."
  1685.
  1686. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:05 PM]
1687. Hector looks to his tail which appears to be smiling, and Hector smiles as well. Then he yawns, and forgets about his own success.
1688. Luna, on the other hand, is patient, and waiting.
  1689.
  1690. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:11 PM]
1691. Marlene gathers a few more rocks and plants them in front of Hector. "Okay, now keep going! You broke that one pretty quickly so see if you can go even faster. I'll be over here with Luna while you do that." She heads on over to her baby and exhales as she sits down cross-legged in front of her, leaving a bit of space between them. "And now we're to you. I saved you for last because what we're doing is a bit more interactive." She reaches into her bag and takes out the ESP cards she bought earlier. "Soooo these are called ESP cards. ESP stands for extrasensory perception. It's basically a sixth sense, like seeing things with your mind- like psychics!" She lays the cards out in front of her, facing downward. "So, how this works..."
1692. "Each card has one unique symbol on it. One's a circle, one's a cross, one has three wavy lines, one has a square, and the other is a star."
1693. She shows Luna each of the cards so she knows exactly what each symbol looks like.
1694. "Now what I'm gonna do is shuffle these up where you can't see them. Afterwards I'll show you the back of the card and you have to tell me what symbol's on it. Are ya getting it?"
  1695.
  1696. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:19 PM]
1697. Luna nods, before being somewhat distracted watching Kamina swoosh between the trees.
  1698.
  1699. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:19 PM]
1700. "Alright. Let's get started!" Marlene turns around, putting her back to Luna as she shuffles the fuck out of this deck.
1701. She then turns back around and holds up a card. "What's this one?"
1702. I'll say it's a star, unless you had a different idea of how thisll go
  1703.
  1704. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:24 PM]
1705. Luna thinks for some amount of time, and selects...
1706. /ch circle, cross, wavy, square, star
  1707.
  1708. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [05-Nov-17 10:24 PM]
  1709. @Nachtimus#1770: circle
  1710.
  1711. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:24 PM]
  1712. The circle card.
  1713.
  1714. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:26 PM]
1715. "Nope. It's a star." Marlene turns the card around and puts it away. She takes out *another* card, this one actually being a circle.
  1716.
  1717. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:32 PM]
1718. Luna focuses in, trying to use some psychic power, and tries again
  1719. /ch circle, cross, star
  1720.
  1721. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [05-Nov-17 10:32 PM]
  1722. @Nachtimus#1770: circle
  1723.
  1724. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:32 PM]
  1725. She guesses circle again.
  1726.
  1727. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:33 PM]
1728. "Well, you *are* right but..." Marlene looks a bit SUSPICIOUS. "Luna, are you just guessing?"
  1729.
  1730. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:34 PM]
1731. Luna buzzes, but quietly, as if slightly shamefully.
  1732.
  1733. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:35 PM]
1734. "It's okay, I'm not mad." She gets a scritch behind the ear. "Just try, okay? This'll really help you, I promise."
  1735. fuck
1736. She holds up another card, this one being the wavy lines. "Okay. What's this one?"
  1737.
  1738. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:39 PM]
1739. Luna takes longer this time to respond with any answer, but when she does, she responds with
  1740. /ch wavy, star
  1741.
  1742. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [05-Nov-17 10:40 PM]
  1743. @Nachtimus#1770: star
  1744.
  1745. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:40 PM]
  1746. The star card.
  1747.
  1748. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:42 PM]
1749. "Not quite, sorry. Don't worry, you'll get it. We just need to keep trying!" Marlene keeps a-goin'. This card isssss...a circle.
  1750.
  1751. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:50 PM]
1752. Luna takes a very long time to get this right, and get it right she does.
  1753.
  1754. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 10:51 PM]
1755. "You did it! All it takes is a little concentration. Let's keep it up." She holds up another card, which is star, and while Luna joggins her noggin she checks on how Kamina and Hector are doing.
  1756.
  1757. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 10:59 PM]
1758. Kamina's swooping all around the place, showing off even, while Hector's staring at the rock. It's cracked a little more, but not significantly so.
  1759.
  1760. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:03 PM]
1761. "Are you having trouble, Hector?"
  1762.
  1763. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:04 PM]
1764. Hector slowly nods to you.
  1765.
  1766. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:05 PM]
  1767. "Trouble concentrating?"
  1768.
  1769. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:14 PM]
1770. Hector nods, looking somewhat discouraged.
  1771.
  1772. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:16 PM]
1773. Hmm. "Let's see...um..." She looks to the Corsola. "What's causing the issue?"
  1774.
  1775. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:17 PM]
1776. The Corsola tail doesn't appear sure, but the screeching of Kamina draws the attention of both of them and also a few bystanders. It appears he's gotten into a quarrel with a Pidgeotto.
  1777.
  1778. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:21 PM]
1779. I KNEW this fuckin happen
1780. Marlene groans and sets the cards down, making sure they won't blow away in the wind. "Sorry, Luna. I'll be right back." She stands up and heads over to the fuckin' commotion. "Kamina! Chill out!" Is the Pidgeotto wild?
  1781.
  1782. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:23 PM]
  1783. Yes.
  1784.
  1785. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:23 PM]
  1786. Is he CHILLIN' OUT?
  1787.
  1788. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:27 PM]
1789. Neither of them are being particularly calm. But gimme Insight+Contest+Empathy.
  1790.
  1791. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:28 PM]
  1792. 8d6 FUCK
  1793.
  1794. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [05-Nov-17 11:28 PM]
  1795. @Hippocratesi#9485: "FUCK": [5, 6, 5, 1, 4, 5, 6, 6] -> **38**
  1796.
  1797. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:28 PM]
1798. GOD I AM SO EMPATHETIC
  1799.
  1800. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:32 PM]
1801. Marlene, this is not Kamina's fault. Not entirely, anyways. Way you see it, the Pidgeotto got aggressive when Kamina flew too close to its nest.
  1802.
  1803. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:33 PM]
1804. "Kamina, just get away! It just wants you away from its nest!"
  1805.
  1806. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:40 PM]
1807. Kamina heeds your words, flying away (even tho he could totally beat this fukr up), and giving the Pidgeotto some space. The Pidgeotto, in response, returns to the tree in which you presume its nest calls home.
  1808.
  1809. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:42 PM]
1810. Marlene lets out a big ol' sigh of relief. Good thing that didn't escalate. "Okay...good." Is Kamina hurt at all?
  1811.
  1812. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:42 PM]
1813. Kamina's a little scratched up, but no actual damage was sustained.
  1814.
  1815. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:44 PM]
  1816. "Well, you aren't hurt. That's good."
1817. "Other than...that, I think you did pretty good! How are your wings feeling?"
  1818.
  1819. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:46 PM]
1820. He stretches them out, to show off his wingspan and the healthiness of the wings.
  1821.
  1822. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:49 PM]
1823. "Oooh, nice and strong! You did pretty good today, Kamina. Just relax for a bit." She heads over to Hector, giving Luna a 'one second' as she passes by. "Alright. So you're having trouble concentrating? Are you guys just not on the same page?"
  1824.
  1825. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:49 PM]
1826. Luna is playing with the cards, floating them around.
  1827.
  1828. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:49 PM]
  1829. my bb girl
  1830.
  1831. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:49 PM]
1832. Hector doesn't really respond, while the Corsola appears to agree with you.
  1833.
  1834. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:52 PM]
1835. Marlene sighs and rests her hands on her back, activatin' the almonds. "Hmmm. So what could help you guys work together?" This is more of a rhetorical question but they can 'answer' if they want.
  1836.
  1837. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:52 PM]
1838. They don't answer you. Hector does pick up the rock, however. With his hands, it hsould be clarified.
  1839.
  1840. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:53 PM]
1841. Is he just holding it?
  1842.
  1843. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:53 PM]
  1844. Yep.
  1845.
  1846. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:54 PM]
  1847. He's just
1848. He's just holding it? "...Do you have an idea?"
  1849.
  1850. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:56 PM]
1851. Hector looks down at the cracked rock blankly. Maybe he's just contemplating?
  1852.
  1853. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:58 PM]
1854. While Hector the Slowbro is contemplating the rock, Marlene has her own idea. She kneels down to the Corsola's level. "Okay. So...he's a bit slow, right? No offense, Hector. Anyway, maybe you could...work at his speed? Maybe you're just going too fast for him." She just shrugs. She isn't sure how to help.
  1855.
  1856. Nachtimus#1770 [05-Nov-17 11:58 PM]
1857. The Corsola blinks, as if it hadn't really considered this.
  1858.
  1859. Hippocratesi#9485 [05-Nov-17 11:59 PM]
  1860. don't worry i didn't either
  1861.
  1862. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:00 AM]
1863. "Let's give it a try!" Marlene stands up. "Okay, Hector! Try and break it again!"
  1864.
  1865. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [06-Nov-17 12:06 AM]
  1866. @Hippocratesi#9485: "wew": [3, 5, 4, 6, 5, 2] -> **25**

  1870. he's done it
  1871.
  1872. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:06 AM]
1873. Hector hunkers down, putting the rock on the ground, and stares blankly. The Corsola, too, appears to focus in on the effort. After a bit of time, the rock is crushed, the air warping subtly, but the destruction being anything but so.
  1874.
  1875. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:07 AM]
  1876. Yes....Yessss....
1877. "Yes! Now you've got the hang of it!"
1878. "*One* more time for good measure. Onnn...that one." Marlene points to another rock.
  1879.
  1880. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:08 AM]
1881. Hector waddles over towards the other rock, and tries again. It appears to come a little more naturally now, and doesn't take nearly as long.
  1882. 6d6
  1883.
  1884. Mechamicus 2.0#3055 [06-Nov-17 12:08 AM]

  1886.
  1887. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:09 AM]
1888. The rock is as similarly destroyed as the previous one.
  1889.
  1890. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:09 AM]
1891. Hector's earned himself an applause. "That's it! I'm really proud of you, Hector!"
1892. "We'll test out your new move in a battle later, okay?"
  1893.
  1894. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:11 AM]
  1895. Hector yawns in anticipation.
  1896.
  1897. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:13 AM]
1898. A battle-yawn, as they call it. "Rest up, you earned it!" With the two lads out of the way, Marlene returns to the hardy Luna. "I'm really sorry. I've been kinda ignoring you this whole time. Are you getting a hang of the card thing?"
  1899.
  1900. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:14 AM]
1901. She appears to be moving the cards around without much problem. Luna buzzes towards you with a positive sound.
  1902.
  1903. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:15 AM]
1904. "We'll do a few more and then take a break for the day. Sound good?"
  1905.
  1906. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:16 AM]
  1907. Luna nods.

  1912.
  1913. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:20 AM]

1992. As you begin wrapping up for the day, you notice Luna acting a little strangely, or, more specifically, things around her. Objects around her like pebbles and grass appear to shudder slightly, for example.
  1993.
  1994. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:32 AM]
1995. As Marlene calls Hector and Kamina back, she notices this. She raises a brow and hmms. "You feeling alright, Luna?"
  1996.
  1997. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:35 AM]
1998. Luna doesn't answer you, gripping her twisted spoon, as a light envelops her, and you see her limbs grow in definition and length, her ears growing sharper, and her tail poofing in size. As the light fades, you now realize that you no longer have an Abra, but a Kadabra!
  1999.
  2000. Hippocratesi#9485 [06-Nov-17 12:37 AM]

  2009.
  2010. Nachtimus#1770 [06-Nov-17 12:43 AM]
  2011. Luna nods in agreement.
