Linux as a Domain Controller?

  1. I would like to slowly move away from SBS2003 switch over to Linux servers for all my tasks. I do run a windows box for my day to day desktop and one notebook, unfortunately Autodesk does not make Linux products, but the rest of my machines and netbooks are linux based.

It would be great to get some insight on how to set up the Linux Server to be a domain controller for password authentication for file shares etc., either with a more in depth look on either show or as part of a quick discussion and links to easy to follow articles during the round up of TechSNAP. This would be a great compliment to the build your own server series you and Allan did.
