there is nothing in the box
but there is something
unspeakable
in the box

the brick house with no doors
or windows
all white with a white box
inside of a box

people are, why?
what do they want?
from a box

how could i be smiling
i have no lips no mouth

Talk to me you say
I look inside myself at nothing

in the box it echoes
say something say something
there's nothing there

your hand on my wrist
is warm and
the brick house is cold
say something bounces
between the walls

there are voices maybe
they're underwater
but there is no water
no doors and no windows

cover your face
but there's no face
just bricks
they don't look like anything

wonder where
they all came from
