  1. [20:31] Aspen Ivanovich says, "Hello, Ethan."
  2. [20:31] Ethan Hawke says, "..."
  3. [20:38]
  4. {LOAD GAME}
  5.
  6. [20:40] Ethan aims to keep making his way westwards - showing nothing but a scowl towards Aspen as she calls out for him. There were words that definitely wanted to escape his mouth, yet he kept silent. He couldn't just linger on and waste time talking to her; she wasn't worth it in his eyes, no one was anymore.
  7. (Ethan Hawke)
  8. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9.
  10. [20:42] Renegin was...burnt quite frankly. Scorch marks from head to toe as he walked along the stone bridge that connected Gehenna to Crafthold. He was coming from a fight with an Undead Horde after all, and it was clear he was injured.
  11.
  12. He walked slowly, carefully and his posture was crooked. Supporting himself with his blade as he trudged along. He stopped before the two...he knew the history between Aspen and Ethan. He sighed, silent. What would happen? Whatever it was, he was in no shape to fight.
  13. (Renegin Billard)
  14. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15.
  16. [20:46] Fatigued, half-closed eyes gazed towards the blue haired man with a subtle scowl. The note she'd slipped under his door mattered not presently with the news Roh delivered to Aspen thereafter.
  17.
  18. A sigh escapes the woman's lips. What was the purpose of opening her maw to say anything? There wasn't. Not anymore. It seemed the ex-pair's feelings towards one another through scowls was mutual.
  19.
  20. The glare kept on him didn't remove itself until he'd been out of view. Renegin's presence is acknowledged briefly, no more than a few seconds before her menacing, darkened crimson hues replace themselves to Ethan, scrutinizing the man who aimed to pass by; she wasn't going to stop him this time.
  21. (Aspen Ivanovich)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [20:47] Britta ignores the happenings
  25. (Britta Toryia)
  26. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  27.
  28. [20:52] Ethan kept on moving westwards, passing right by Aspen. The sight of Britta moving through as if nothing could possibly happen disgusted him. Everything was painted black for the young man at this point, that much would be obvious. A great part of him believe that she might've been part of this great attempt at claiming his existence; posing as a medic but never actually helping anyone in Huangzhou was the perfect way to play one's cards without being in trouble. Disgusting.
  29.
  30. This expression of disdain was carried as occult forces wisped right upon the thrall's skin. She'd feel it - recognize the feeling, too. The emotions he carried were the same that he once feared back then. They had done more than merely plague him at this point and he seemed to have fully fallen for that madness.
  31.
  32. Everyone was a liar. A betrayer. A manipulator. Aspen was no different in his eyes. Cold words were shared towards the woman as occult forces seared at her very soul, much like it had rotted his.
  33.
  34. Cold and... Sad.
  35. (Ethan Hawke)
  36. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  37.
  38. [20:52] Ethan Hawke whispers: You're not going to get me with lies. Never again.
  39. [20:58] Ethan's familiar occultic presence prodded at her soul uncomfortably every step he took in drawing near her levitating person. The mana infused blood wings ceased their opposing force against the atmosphere, lowing the Ivanovich thrall against the earth.
  40.
  41. Aspen's eyes drifted in Ethan's direction. A never-ending, unwavering glare accompanied by a stoic mien. His own cold and sad disposition was felt immensely. Not just he had been one to suffer. Therefore..
  42.
  43. She turned in his direction before he could get further from her position.
  44. (Aspen Ivanovich)
  45. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  46.
  47. [20:58] Aspen Ivanovich whispers: Mmh, how unfortunate that my words weren't lies this time, Ethan. I had hope for us, yet you've made your choice with someone else.
  48. [21:00] Ethan Hawke whispers: I was dumb to think I could start over. It was just a trap. I won't fall for Leoda, Roh, Izabell or your attempts anymore. You won't get to my heart by having your friends crush it.
  49. [21:06] Ethan kept on moving west. Whether or not his words were the truth mattered little. It was what he had been lead to believe at this point. What he had been given to think. The timing couldn't have been better, after all. They were after him. All of them. Why else would so many people be staring at him? An occultic blaze burned around him, crashing aggressively against the blood that Aspen had conjured in hopes to defend herself.
  50.
  51. She may have been suffering in her own way ever since she had cut ties with him, but she had yet to completely lose it like he had. He was... Barely even there anymore. His own self felt trapped, bound by the chains of paranoia and pressed down by the betrayal that kept proving him right.
  52.
  53. Madness had reached a point where blunt honesty mixed perfectly with crazy nonsense. More whispers were shared as he stepped away.
  54.
  55. Whispers that outright contradicted themselves - revealing something that was always felt yet never spoken.
  56. (Ethan Hawke)
  57. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  58.
  59. [21:06] Ethan Hawke whispers: I never told you that I loved you because I knew it would hurt once you'd leave. I was right not to tell you how I felt in the end.
  60. [21:14] Ethan's whisper lightened the woman's glare towards him, pursing her lips as she grit her teeth. The admittance couldn't be believed, however. Not within his madness that he suffered from.
  61.
  62. He'd been trapped in a vulnerable state- one that may easily be manipulated from his present belief against the Ivanovich, yet-
  63.
  64. Aspen made no effort. Her father's words reverberated loudly through her skull, almost an uneasy vibration from its elevated volume. From her there was silence. The thrall turned away from Ethan, folding in her wings momentarily and allowing that blood to reform in an aura, opposing his occultic, life draining flames.
  65.
  66. Loneliness. That was where destiny lay in the Ivanovich. In silence, as Ethan stepped further away, those wings remade, using every ounce of blood that shrouded her. Aspen stepped away, disregarding everyone's current attendance that spectated them, to leave Ethan for good. Permanently. She'd bother no more with pursuing him, but pursuing her own feats.
  67.
  68. He'd be free to his own accord, as she'd be in hers. And without a second thought, her agile movement pushed her forward, spreading those wings, and flying off towards the north.
  69. (Aspen Ivanovich)
  70. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  71.
  72. [21:15] Renegin carried on past Ethan nodding at him.
  73. (Renegin Billard)
