dream log 88 - vampire and human friends

wow, uh, so.... it's like a 3D game. or just a movie. envision that, ok?

i'm a vampire who is incredibly hungry, holed up in a very dark room, and my vampire parents have left me here to starve with my human friend, and i'm trying so hard to not eat them.

then i'm the human friend, and i'm scrambling to cheer up my vampire friend who looks so sad. i open the shutters, forgetting it hurts vampires, and they're like HSSSS

i pull up a red velvet cake out of who-knows-where, and i'm the vampire friend again, devouring the cake without hesitation.

then we're on a platform in a magical world, where most light has been sucked out by a black hole the size of a single penny. we were... fighting a dragon who runs off into a portal, and the vampire friend just keeps sucking the red out of various objects, and the human friend is shaping two orbs of light that are "BINGO" and "DEAL". they're very powerful, but the human can't master them yet.

the human friend drags the vampire friend just beyond the tiny black hole, within a safe distance, and says, "hey, look, most dragons don't lie. we just gotta follow it."

"how," asks the vampire friend, while crunching the red out of their human's shirt.

the black hole continues to suck in stuff, so the human tosses something in, and suddenly it's expanding, and expanding into a diamond-shaped portal of pure light, which we step into.

i wake up.
