  1. How to craft the items in Storm Secret:
  2.
  3. Helmet:
  4. 1. Acquire ilv84+ Shaper-Influenced Helmet
  5. 2. Use Essence of Horror to guarantee "Socketed Gems deal 30% more Elemental Damage"
  6. 3. Isolate that mod so that it is the only suffix, and so that the item has 3 prefixes that are NOT "Adds x Cold/Lightning Damage to Spells" (defense mods are probably the easiest to add/remove)
  7. 4. Craft Cold resistance at the bench (tier doesn't matter)
  8. 5. Augment with a Cold modifier, guaranteeing "Socketed Gems are supported by Hypothermia"
  9. (If you didn't get T1, you can remove Cold res at the bench, Remove Cold with harvest, craft the res at the bench, and Aug Cold)
  10. 6. Remove the Cold resistance at the bench
  11. 7. Augment with a Caster modifier, guaranteeing "Socketed Spells have x% to Critical Strike Chance"
  12. 8. Remove/Add Caster until you get 3%
  13. 9. You now have perfect suffixes that would take ~14000 Horror Essences to get without Harvest
  14. 10. Harvest craft whatever prefixes your build wants. Mine wants Life and possibly added to spells. It's best to have 1 open prefix so you can craft +1 AOE gems at the bench.
  15.
  16. You can do the same resist/augment procedure (steps 4-6) with Lightning to instead get Innervate. Hypothermia is better single-target damage if you can guarantee the target is chilled (Choir of the Storm with added cold damage to spells somewhere?)
  17.
  18. Staff (Not optimal for Herald of Thunder but still generically very good.):
  19. 1. Buy a staff with Tacati's and +2 to all spell gems for 1 exalt (YOINK)
  20. (Your other option is to fracture Tacati's or spam remove/add caster until you get it, exceedingly unlikely)
  21. 2. Ensure there are 2 non-crafted suffixes and 1 open prefix by adding/removing as needed
  22. 3. Craft "Cannot roll Attack Modifiers"
  23. 4. Spam Remove+Add Lightning until you get +3 gems (much more likely to roll added lightning to spells)
  24. 5. Craft Prefixes Cannot be Changed and Scour
  25. 6. From here, you can do whatever you want for the suffixes. I prefer to have crit mods. Craft local critical strike chance at the bench, augment critical twice to guarantee spell crit chance and global crit multi. Then you can change the bench craft to whatever suffix you want. Chance to deal double damage is best for damage (while Focussed is best for single-target.)
  26.
  27. Amulet:
  28. 1. Buy ilv82+ Crusader and Hunter amulets
  29. 2. Throw currency at them until you get +1 Lightning Gems or +1 Intelligence gems as the only Influenced mods
  30. 3. Use an Awakener's Orb first on the base you don't want the item to be (it will be destroyed,) and second on the base you want the item to be. It will reroll all the mods, but guarantee the 2 influenced mods.
  31. 4. Hope that the random mods are good, or things you can target remove with Harvest. Otherwise, sell it and start over.
  32. 5. Remove+Add Life until you get the Lightning Damage leeched as Life prefix.
  33. 6. The suffixes can be whatever you want, but I wanted Crit Multi, so I bench crafted Crit Chance and Harvest Crafted Crit Multi (guaranteed in 1 Add.)
  34.
  35. Chest:
  36. 1. Acquire an ilv85+ Crusader chest and a high ilv Redeemer chest
  37. 2. Use Jagged Fossils or physical-guaranteeing Harvest crafts to get "Reflects X physical damage" and "X% of Physical damage taken as Lightning damage" as the only 2 prefixes. Should be fairly common with the fossils.
  38. 3. Augment with a Physical modifier to guarantee the explosion mod.
  39. 4. Remove Lightning to remove "X% Physical damage taken as Lightning," because we need the Explosion mod to be the only influenced mod.
  40. 5. Spam currency onto the Redeemer chest until its only influenced mod is Frenzy Charge on Hit (or buy one with it already on, it's cheap)
  41. 6. Use an Awakener's Orb first on the base you don't want the item to be (it will be destroyed,) and second on the base you want the item to be. It will reroll all the mods, but guarantee the 2 influenced mods.
  42. 7. If possible, remove any undesirable mods with Harvest. I wasn't able to remove the flat Mana because Harvest can't.
  43. 8. Harvest craft to guarantee any other mods you want (Life, Resistances)
  44.
  45. Gloves:
  46. 1. Buy gloves that have the incursion mod on them, already perfectly rolled, and mods that you either want or can remove with Harvest
  47. 2. Remove the mods you don't want, add the mods you do (In my case, Life and Chaos resistance were very easy to apply.)
  48. 3. Use Einhar to craft Aspect of the Cat as a suffix on the gloves.
  49. 4. There are no glove implicits that can help here, so you might as well synthesize them. Hopefully you won't get 3 totally useless implicits in a row like I did.
  50.
  51. Belt:
  52. 1. Buy an ilv75+ Elder Leather Belt.
  53. 2. Scour it and Fertile Catalyst it to 20% quality (4 Catalysts.)
  54. 2. Spam Pristine Fossils or life-guaranteeing Harvest crafts until you get a high amount of Life.
  55. 3. Harvest craft whatever other mods you want (resistances, most likely. "Augment with a new Fire modifier" would guarantee Fire resistance.)
  56.
  57. Ring:
  58. (Exactly the same as the Belt, just with an ilv75+ Shaper Coral or Vermillion Ring, but you're hoping for T1 Life and T1 Life Gain on Spell Hit. I got the Lightning damage mod on accident, but you could guarantee it with Harvest.)
  59.
  60. Boots:
  61. 1. I used Harvest to chaos spam these and add/remove the mods until they were better. They're not very good, but the resistances balance my Wise Oak flask. If you want generically good boots, you could Harvest chaos/alch Speed until you get good enough movement speed, then try to harvest guarantee Life and Resistances. There are guides on how to guarantee Tailwind+Elusive boots, which are very good as well.
