  1. Start: 8 pm, Foreautumn 11, 401 GA

  3. The party departed towards the Viszudar. Along their way, they came across a detatchment of imperial forces, bearing the gold and purple of Nebuëmenses. They passed this squad without incident, but noticed it was heading towards Izzero.

  5. Moving along, they made a stop in Rivenport.
  6.  
  7. Ryardynin chatted with the bookkeeper, and all of them made purchases.
  8.  
  9. They moved on to the Viszudar, and were greeted with a peculiar sight. Before them was a funerary procession, and evidently it was Kaliero's. It would seem he was not spared by the choosing, and was subject to the toils of the venom of the Shindri Queen, like many others. His body was prepared for a sky burial, and was being taken through the Viszudar one last time, in parade-like fashion.

  11. During the parade, Sahil, Kaliero's aide, and Malthuzar, Alasdair's mentor, met up with the party.

  13. Malthuzar was dodgy initially, dodging questions, seemingly intent on speaking with Alasdair. They broke off from the party, who went with Sahil. Sahil appeared to have a previous judgement of Malthuzar, and either did not like him, or did not trust him.

  15. Alasdair and Malthuzar got caught up. Alasdair briefed Malthuzar on Jucika's situation, and a probably inclusion in the Viszudar. In Alasdair's absence, Malthuzar evidently had been busy recruiting individuals to their cause. He told Alasdair he constructed a 'guildhall' for the followers of the archons, for the impending apocalypse.

  17. Speaking with Sahil, they uncovered several notable pieces of information.

  20. The southlands are a dead magic zone for all divination magic and the teleportation subschool. Supernatural abilities will work. Spell-like abilities will not work of those schools.

  22. All who die in those lands rise as wights in 1d3 days.
  23.  
  24. Ilishlu's heir can open the tomb the giants are imprisoned within.
  25.  
  26. The frost giants are necromancers.

  29. Regrouping at the guildhall, Malthuzar introduced them to the recruits briefly, including Calvin, who seemed easily swayed to Ryardynin's cause.

  31. Their introduction was interrupted by a message from Jucika requesting aid. Evidently, the troops sent by the emperor were intended to capture her and her lady. The party sprung into action, rescuing Jucika and Aria, her Ashig. Adriana Vatatzes was nowhere to be seen. Jucika would soon tell them she was captured in the early stages of the fighting.

  33. Jucika was immensely grateful in her own way, never being the kind to seem overly grateful, nor the kind to emote overly. She explained her relief that her prized Ashig was safe, as she possessed two traits she found desirable - her regeneration and albinism.

  35. Malthuzar was instructed to keep close eye on Jucika by Alasdair.
