Downfall

When I was a cynical teen I knew I would see the fall of America in my lifetime. I'm horrified it went in the direction it did. I would rather see rioting and protesting than daily Mass shootings and such abominable levels of xenophobia coming from a presidential candidate with no purpose to run except to turn us into modern day nazi Germany.
I'm 26 and I've given up on the American Dream, I'll never see it and neither will any of the generations following.
