- Q: Why the hell are you running 100% again?
- A: Various instapasses were found, most notably for Paramedic, giving me a chance to easily push down this time.
- Q: How did you teleport?
- A: You can pick up objects within replays. If you save one over a property purchase marker, you can buy things within a saved replay, and it'll place you at the property that you just purchased. As for save markers, they only work when you're in the same zone as the save marker that you made a replay over. For example, if you want to warp to Sunshine Autos via a save marker replay, you'd have to be considered by the game to be in Little Havana, otherwise you would not warp.
- Q: Why are you looking at the store owners?
- A: All 15 store robberies are required for 100% completion.
- Q: Why did you shoot the store owners?
- A: This'll prevent him from setting off the alarm and giving two stars. In some instances, it doesn't matter though, so it's fine to just run away after getting the money.
- Q: Wait... why did the mission randomly pass?
- A: You will see these throughout the run, they are referred to by us as "instapasses". When one mission's script's offset is at a certain point that corresponds to a different mission's mission-pass offset, then there's a chance that starting one mission, reaching that part of the script, then starting the second mission will instantly pass this mission. By looking through the code, several of these have been found already.
- Q: What is the use of changing language to German mid-run?
- A: For some reason the German and French languages instantly remove rampages from sight, but switching back to English/Italian/Spanish makes them come back. This can be abused to save replays over rampage spots for replay glitching without picking up the rampage on the spot, by having them disappear temporarily.
- Q: [taxi duping] What the hell are you doing?
- A: This involves starting the Trial By Dirt off-road mission many times with rampages, and then starting Taxi Driver. The fare dropped off in this massively duped version of Taxi Driver will give you as many "taxi fares" as you had running instances of Trial By Dirt before starting Taxi Driver.
- Basically, when you save the game, wait over 2 minutes, save a replay over a rampage, then load your game, you will be able to start the rampage and cancel it at will. Every rampage is 2 minutes long, and by activating a replay from "the future", the game thinks you've already done it, sort of. This lets you start the sidemission with rampages over and over. When you cancel the rampage, the mission will restart on itself, but the rampage must be restarted extremely quickly, otherwise there is the risk of the mission starting on its own. If that happens, your streak of dupes is basically done for.
- This can be split up into 3 segments of 33/33/34 dupes, or 2 segments of 50/50 dupes. I (Mhmd_FVC) personally go for 33/33/34 as of now because this strat is very dumb and having to stack fewer missions to risk less at the expense of some time is very much worth it. Ractrot's method would make going for 50/50 completely reasonable though, I think.
- Q: What is that sliding thing?
- A: More replay fuckery. When you activate a replay and swap to a different at the same time, you'll begin sliding, which works during phone calls and is very useful for heavy weapon rampages, since you go a lot faster than the forced slow walking speed with those weapons.
- Q: strip klub
- A: Just wait.
- Q: armi bes
- A: Just wait.
