Ahiliyah had a selfish moment to think go after him , take him not me then the moment was gone . She tried to twist away . The demon reacted , long hands grabbing her shoulders , slamming her into the ground so forcefully her head smacked off the hard surface . The beast’s lips curled back , a gleeful smile of death . Jaws opened . The demon hissed , metal teeth glinting in the sun . A shield flashed in the sun — the edge drove halfway through the side of the demon’s head , knocking the beast to the side amidst a wild spray of yellow blood .
