- Preheat air fryer to 370F, let run 5 minutes while doing jalapeno prep.
- Chop off the tops to remove the stem, then we're cutting lengthwise once to split down the center, holding in your hand rotate 90 degrees and do a second lengthwise cut, making 4 quarters.
- Using a paring knife, gently score out the membranes and seeds. If not wearing gloves, this is where you might get spicy paws. Be aware, be prepared!
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp liquid aminos
- Pop the lid on the bowl and shake, shake, shake!
- Lay out in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook 15 minutes at 370F, setting a timer for the halfway point (7.5 minutes) where you pull out the basket, shake and agitate to flip around all willy nilly, back in to cook the rest of the 7.5.
- Keep an ear out, too many spices and not enough liquid aminos can cause the spices to burn toward the back half of cooking, mine just beeps at me to warn me if I've got it too dry.
- ALL SET, delicious and crispy with a lil bit o' BITE to them!
