- 10 oz tuna, drained
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp of parsley
- pinch of garlic powder
- pinch of paprika
- pinch of salt
- pinch ground black pepper
- 1. Mix tuna and diced onions in a bowl.
- 2. Mix lemon juice and eggs in a separate bowl.
- 3. Mix in bread crumbs, parsley, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.
- 4. Stir in the tuna and diced onions.
- 5. Make patties the size you want. They won't shrink much at all. I made patties that were slightly smaller than the palm of my hand and about an inch thick. I only made 2, but I had enough for 1 more that size.
- 6. Fry them in 3 tbsp of oil on medium heat. 5 minutes each side. They should golden brown on each side.
- I also buttered and toasted some hamburger buns to put them on. I squeezed a slice of a lemon on each patty and ate it with ketchup. I tried mayo also, but ketchup tasted way better on it.
