	Fenix, or Wu Hong Feng, was the Baron of the Red Diamond court, a shu shen holding in Barrio Chino, Tijuana. All shinma were welcome to come and take succor at the phoenix nest that served as a yang temple. It was down here in the mystical heart of Barrio Chino that Hyo would find Fenix, sorting through prayers and offerings.

Hyousuke descends down the spiraling staircase, the sound of footsteps echoing the room below, alerting anyone present of his imminent arrival. He casually inspects the fountain as he simply makes his way around it and makes his way to the fireplace. His perceptions scan the room as he walks briskly with a purpose to the firepit, seeing who all is here.

	Fenix looks over as someone makes their way down. A smile brightens his features as he sees an unfamiliar face. "Hello, and welcome to the temple!"

Hyousuke nods to the Asian man that addresses him. A moment spent in silence as he looks him over. "Thank you, sir," he says in Japanese. Perhaps a test for the stranger. His arms go behind his back, before he simply adds, "My name is Hyousuke." a stifled nod of respect is short lived, his eyes never leaving Fenix.

	"Most of the court's retinue is out running errands, so you'll have to make do with just me for now, I'm afraid." The man offers a bow, "Wu Hong Feng, Kuan of Barrio Chino on behalf of the Shu Shen." A pause, "English, Spanish or Mandarin. No Japanese for me."

Hyousuke nods, "Engrish, French, or Japanese." He simply shrugs, "Would you mond, Baron if i stayed here a few nights? i have just arrived in town."

	Fenix shakes his head, "Not at all. Be my guest, stay as long as you like. I'll put you on the house upstairs if you want food or drink. Mind your manners with our neighbors, we have an understanding."

Hyousuke raises a brow, "Neighbors?"

	Fenix nods. "At the La Mesa penitentiary. Kinjin. Avoid going there if you can, until I've arranged proper introductions. Everything else? Is fair game."

Hyousuke nods. slowly. "Kinjin. Not going to eat me are they?" a slight smirk escapes his discipline, curling the corners of his lips.

	"Unlikely. Like I said, we have an understanding. Barrio Chino is ours to hold, they run the rest of Tijuana. I'll brief you on the local politics later. Mostly simple stuff, but worth learning and heeding," says Fenix as he regards his fellow little god. "If you think of anything else that you might need or want, just lemme know and i'll do my best to make sure you're comfortable. I'll be hosting a festival upstairs soon, for yugen. And we'll have our western cousins in attendance, if we're lucky."

Hyousuke nods, "Nuan Mei, or western cainites? I am Fae. So, the later might be a problem. I could pretend to be one of their serpent people if necessary."

	"I've opened up relations with the changelings across the border, or at least a few of their nobles. I'll invite them to our festival, and we can go and pay a visit to their domains," says Fenix. "Its at least a little interesting."
Hyousuke smiled, and nods, "Sounds interesting indeed. I am at your service should you need something. I am Fu Hsi."

	"Excellent! I've a use for you, I'm sure. We're in an aggressive expansion mode. Be well and enjoy the hospitality," replies the nyan.

Hyousuke nods, "I will not cause waves." he produces a business card with his contact info out of his pocket, walking over to hand it to you, "call upon me if you do." with that, he shapeforms into a snake and curls up next to the fireplace.
