Vanderbilt, Walter says, Or surrender.

Uladh, Linalee shook her head!

"I won't leave. If it is my time to die, I shall die as a cleric of Arcadia, standing at the Angel's side."

She held her fire again, her passion was renewed.
Vanderbilt, Walter shakes his head, and narrows his eyes.

"Arcadia does not care. The Angel does not care. Lucifer does not care."

"I care, Lin."

"We are going to -die-. Do you understand? You will not have a chance to heal ANYONE. Even if you do, they will still die."

"I will die before you, likely."

"Do you not want to live a life with me?"
Uladh, Linalee stopped for a moment. Her flame almost flickering, then burning all the brighter as she spoke.

"I am a Cleric, Trained in gods light. I will stand with Arcadia. I will fight. I won't judge you for wanting to leave."

She paused and nodded.

"Of course I want t live a life with you. One that I am proud of. I won't run. I'd not be able to live with myself."
Vanderbilt, Walter says, Stand with Arcadia?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You're 15.
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You have so much of a life ahead of you.
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You'd waste it dying to an unkillable enemy?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, Do you remember the last time you didn't listen to me and nearly died?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, What did you do for Arcadia then? The people who have done nothing for you?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You couldn't even reach Gawain. That was with ALUCARD. This is with both him and Dracula.
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You won't even be able to breathe.
Uladh, Linalee calmly rose from her seat.
Uladh, Linalee says, I love you Walter.
Vanderbilt, Walter stood up, and dashed to the door. He'd stand in front of it.

"We're going to talk."

"You know I'm right. You're giving your life for nothing. For no one. For no reason. I am going to lose the love of my life for no reason."

"We can't win this."

"You have no place in a battle between celestials and demons like this. I don't."

"We have to surrender or leave... I don't care where."
Uladh, Linalee smiled to her love.

"As we stand now. We will fall."

She couldn't deny that. She wouldn't lie.

"But we don't have to fall. We can stand togehter. We can work together, as a Kingdom united."

Mana Blossomed around her. She called upon her Uladh heritage for the first time with real conviction. White armor blossomed around her body. She stood, having donned her Paladin Armor!

"I will stand united, with my people, with my Kingdom, and with my God!"

She declared!

"And hopfully, my love, with you."

She aimed to walk past the man. Fighting back the dispair she felt, at the knowladge she was likely loseing Walter.
Vanderbilt, Walter says, So you want to die with me?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, Is that it?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, We cannot unite in a day or two, and that's all the time we have.
Vanderbilt, Walter stays at the door. He does not let her pass.

"You'll have to beat me down to get past."

His eyes widen.

"I will not lose my wife. Not to a foolish battle we CANNOT WIN!"
Uladh, Linalee says, . . .
Uladh, Linalee says, Walter. .
Uladh, Linalee says, please. Don't make me do this.
Vanderbilt, Walter says, Do you realize the pain I have to feel?
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You follow god blindly, not considering your own free will!
Vanderbilt, Walter says, You are allowed to live, Linalee!
Vanderbilt, Walter says, Why would god want you to die in a fight you cannot help?!
