You have kicks and bans. Oh, and logs. You can see stuff like emitters turning on/off, attack logs (who attacked who, with what, on what intent), stuff like that
That should be everything you need. Lets begin
Question 1
You see over the common channel that an assistant with the name "Barry McFuckknuckle" has arrived on station. What do you do?

You dont directly, but you can ask an admin to change it for you

then i would refer him to the rules, and ask him what he would want his character to be renamed to. i would contact an admin and ask them to change the name. once his name is changed i would end the ahelp but keep a eye on him.

Alright. Lets say that they don't respond back to you with a name for a few minutes. In fact, they suit up in an emergency softsuit and start to walk around the station. How do you proceed?

Question two
Two chemists join in quick succession, with normal names. However, while observing around or walking past their lab ICly, you notice that they look rather strange. One is black, with a neon green afro. The other is a bearded woman with ginger hair. They dont seem to be talking at all to eachother, and you see some grenade cases on the tables. How do you proceed?

i would keep an eye on them, occasionally aghosting to watch them. two quesitons, are they trading items? and is it possible to watch a specific persons logs?

They seem to be passing beakers back and forth without talking, yes. While you cant see direct logs like "X puts beaker in the chem machine" or "Y puts beaker in grenade case", you can see that one of them has recently added a pill of phoron to a beaker that also contains sulfuric acid

well, without accusing them of metagaming, i would say at that point i would just put my full attention to them, and alert the rest of staff.
i should add, that i would be alerting any staff that are on at the time of whats going on for anything regarding rules.

Alright. Suddenly, the two grab their made grenades. Without talking they both step out of chemistry, and seem to be heading towards security, grenades in hand. Would you like the VV them?

View Variables. It lets you see any variable associated with a particular object. The name/race/personal attack logs of mobs, fingerprints on buttons, contents of beakers, etc

i would say yes, to the VV, but i feel like i wouldnt have time before they could grab the grenades. i think that at that point. with them working together and heading to the same place with the grenades they wordlessly made passing beakers i would wind them and send them both a pm, while also asking the other staff i alerted if they have any info, and checking vars myself.

You can clearly see that some grenades contain an explosive mix, and some a firebomb mix. You dont hear a reply back from either of them, and further attempts to send PMs reveals that they have both logged.

both chemists joined at the same time, and entered chemistry, while there they wordlessly aided each other in making explosives as non-antags. after making reagents they both headed to security with the explosives they made, after being winded and contacted, they gave no response, and logged out of the server.

Question 3
You are the only staff member online when an ahelp comes in. A player is complaining about one of your OOC friends, saying that your friend attacked them out of nowhere. From what you can tell, the attack logs seem to back this up. How do you proceed?

i pm them asking what went on with the person who sent the ahelp. did the person who sent the ahelp explain anything? what was their ahelp?

Their ahelp breifly outlined that they were attacked out of nowhere, lets say with a circular saw in medbay. The ahelper is currently dead, and is ripping up dsay. Your friend claims that there was some IC argument going on earlier in the round, and that this was the natural continuation of that. Other ghosts in dsay seem to be agreeing with the ahelper, however
Scrolling up, you can see that there was a small fisticuff fight earlier in the round, between the two

hmm, well if they randomly attacked and killed the ahelper, i would say that a punishment is in order.

Yes, they are a regular. As said, they're also somewhat of a friend OOCly. Also remember the small fisticuffs earlier in the round, including some disarming and grabbing from both parties.

yes, but outright killing someone over a small fight or argument is no good. i would say a day ban, they should know better than to escalate things in that way.
