RavenBlackPhoen1x: Well I use in my post a steel called valeryain steel. And i been told I am not allowed too put it as indestructible at all as its called godmodding but there is a  story behind its making .....so that can't actually be seen as a godmod correct?

KayneRIscariot: No, "indestructible" is considered god-modding. Even the best weapons forged in the real world deteorate and have their flaws, in some way.
RavenBlackPhoen1x: I only ask i can think of someway there is a flaw of course just wont be able too for awhile as my mind hasnt  thought of one.
VelraxDIscariot: There are ways to get around that though ~
RavenBlackPhoen1x: True i was curious though. But i never actually always go through using the blade half the time im fighting i tend too loose it midway through fighting so its just been me going hand to hand half the time.
KayneRIscariot: How exactly did the material become created by a fire gland, though? Is it a by-product similar to a kidney stone, or is it... manually forged with dragon-breath or something?
VelraxDIscariot: You could simply re-word that classification to "virtually indestructible by normal means" and specify a flaw that would be detrimental to the overall integrity or functionality of said item. Or simply state that the method used for creation could also be the means of breaking down the metals into their seperate components.
RavenBlackPhoen1x: Honeslty it was soemthing i thought of  during  of doing more of my rp story for my character it was just thought of.

KayneRIscariot: Anything that doesn't have specified negatives, cons, loopholes, or flaws of some kind are typically considered to be god-modding and/or over-powered.

KayneRIscariot: Just out of curiousity, does the material "Valeryian Steel" only apply to certain universes? And wasn't that a material from Game of Thrones or something?
RavenBlackPhoen1x: Actually i was told about that steel from an old friend of mine who was helping me with the facts on what steel to use as a source of a  sword and he told me that but it was a first i heard it was from game of thrones....as i never  watched the series.

KayneRIscariot: Yeah, because "Valeryian" is from Game of Thrones. And if that's the case, you would be referencing that material, which would be copyright infringement.
KayneRIscariot: So you could use or create another material very similar, that's not that kind of steel. And maybe in your biography or description have a reference note to it (maybe in a footer or something of the like).

KayneRIscariot: Okay. First and foremost; one of the biggest issues I'm seeing off the bat, disregarding the ability itself, is the temperature it supposedly reaches.
KayneRIscariot: You do realize that temperature is hotter than the surface of the sun... right?
KayneRIscariot: In comparison; the surface of the sun, in Celsius, is 5,504.85 degrees.

KayneRIscariot: Fire emits light, so it would only be able to go towards white.
KayneRIscariot: The closest to "black" you would actually get is an invisible flame, but that's a very cool temperature.
RavenBlackPhoen1x: well i needed too make sure the flames had some sort of realism to them like heat wise.
RavenBlackPhoen1x: i never been good with science so i had too look it up.
KayneRIscariot: Yeah. Well, black is the absence of light, so it would be physically impossible to have black flames. However. If you're in a fantasy world, you could classify it as energy that has a searing effect similar to fire, but has no actual heat.
KayneRIscariot: But if you're going to stick with flames, you would have to go with something that actually does emit light to stay on the visible spectrum and use some realism.

KayneRIscariot: Okay. Velrax made a point of saying that you could achieve the black color coming from a substance that's produced on the skin, as the body's way of controlling temperature. And that substance, in a fantasy setting, burns black.

KayneRIscariot: So you could then bring the temperature down to a more reasonable level and keep the color you're after.
RavenBlackPhoen1x: ok soo how would i describe  the form like a snake if you get my meaning by that.

KayneRIscariot: I'd be careful about saying the fire is his very skin, if he has any kind of anthropomorphic traits to his form. Now, I guess that would boil down to what your definition of "alive" is. Most people consider that word to define an organism, some organism that it's cell(s) has/have autonomous control over functions. Breathing, reproducing, etc.

KayneRIscariot: Might I suggest bringing the temperature on those flames down to like, 1,500 Celsius? That should be enough of a temperature to work with quite a few materials, without going seriously overboard.

KayneRIscariot: It's still a very high temperature, and you can tweak it as you like. But, if I recall correctly, a lot of materials have to be heated to at least 315 Celsius.
KayneRIscariot: So 1,000 Celsius should be enough. lol.

KayneRIscariot: I started skimming through and noticed at the end that you mentioned the character has a device that creates and closes black holes... A lot of people would say that's extremely over-powered and defies a lot of physics.
