» PERSONALITY: She is extremely hard-working, and never realises when she overworks, which means she's often pessimistic and sleep deprived due to stress. If she has a goal that she thinks is rational, she will strive to achieve it, but she tends to set her hopes and dreams aside. She is kind-hearted, though her anger and frustration can get the better of her. At the end of the day, she just wants to make everybody proud and happy. She will always try to make others smile (even though she herself rarely sees the good in a situation) and care for them, even if she cannot love herself.
» BACKGROUND: She was born in America, but her mother took her and her brother to her home country of South Korea after finally breaking away from an abusive relationship with their father. Seonmi was four when they moved to Korea. They lived in a small apartment, which her mother could barely afford. Ever since, her mother has taught her that the only way they can have a happy life is if they work hard to achieve the best of their ability. Seonmi has been uptight from a young age, but went through a rebellious phase in university (which she regrets now).

» FAMILY: Adam Evergreen, father — he stayed in America after her mother divorced him, and they never speak.
Jeon Soojin, mother — Seonmi lived with her until she was nineteen, and while Soojin thinks they have no secrets, Seonmi doesn't feel comfortable telling her mother about her disorder.
Jeon Joowon, younger brother — they don't talk as much as they used to, and though he found out about her disorder, he is unsure of how to help her.
» OCCUPATION: An assistant editor of a very famous publishing company. She desperately wants a promotion since she does more work than the current editor, the young and idiotic son of the founder of the company. (She wishes she could quit and be an author.)

» DISORDERS / DISEASES: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She discovered her OCD when she was in university, and after being diagnosed she realised she had been displaying symptoms since high school. Her OCD often causes anxiety. She constantly fears that she will act out of anger or have a mental breakdown suddenly and hurt someone or herself. She is afraid of failure most of all. In everyday life, she will repeatedly check that she does tasks correctly, like washing her hands, locking a door, sending an email. Also, everything she does at work has to be done in a certain way. She often thinks "neutralising" thoughts when she gets worried, and wants to ask for reassurance from people but rarely does. She rarely feels sexual need, disgusted my compulsive sexual desires she used to think of and act on as a result of her OCD when she was in university.
» ADDICTION/S: During her university years she used to be addicted to sex, but no longer has that addiction or those sexual compulsive thoughts.
It's not really an addiction, but she cannot stop working, even late at night, and this often leads to sleep deprivation.

- middle: There's some angst between him as she finds out about his past and he finds out about hers. They sometimes have fights about how the other doesn't look after or love himself/herself, but they always make up and are better friends for it. They share intimate moments and kiss once or twice without talking about how it affects their relationship. All the while, everyone notices how much they love each other, but they are oblivious.
- end: After quitting her job and opting for a better life, confesses that she thinks she's in love with him. Outcome 1: he tells her that he loves her, they become a couple and work through their issues together, or Outcome 2: he tells her he loves her but can't bear to hurt her, and wants to go their separate ways. It's for you to decide since I'm unsure of which would make a better ending to the story.
