  1. I feel like I should keep submitting Wand of Gamelon to GDQs. Last time I received the rejection comment that it was hard to justify a game whose charm relied on the cutscenes (paraphrasing). I received this rejection, I would like to add, during the two years with Town With No Name (a game made entirely of cutscenes, that everybody loved) and Pepsiman (an autoscroller relying on the charm of its cutscenes, that everybody loved). I just feel like I'm getting mixed messages in regards to Wand of Gamelon. Wand of Gamelon is an actual speedgame that happens to also have awesome cutscenes. You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to convince people to accept a game that has such a well-known reputation for being absurd and terrible.
