Well THIS is definitely among the weirder worlds. I remember reading about Gen13 in a couple of trade magazines when I was a kid, and it seemed overcomplicated, but actually being here is really insane. I'm just lucky that the Conspiracy is around in order to deal with some of the things on the back end, like the giant conspiracy behind Project Genesis. Mostly because, as weird as it sounds, just about all of them were teenagers at oldest when I found them - turns out that some of the people within Gen12 really got around. And if a person doesn't use protection and has a tendency toward one night stands at random bars... often... well. Serial philanderers ARE a known quantity. Even if the government eventually takes the kids, whether they were in a decent home or an orphanage or on the streets.

Turns out that when you have so many kids with identical power sets, getting on their bad side is a very, very bad idea. And when they have the memories of people who have led a hundred other lives, stretching back over the centuries, they'll see right through your nonsense and play you like a fiddle until they exploit the right opportunity at the right moment.

Also, I crashed literally every car I was ever behind the wheel of. And I kept ending up having to drive places despite being able to fly, because... plot? I don't know, but it KEPT HAPPENING. Well, in between the assassination attempts from the Catholic church (apparently I am a false god and therefore the devil?), and the Coda (your training sucks and I came here to laugh at you).
