  1. Rai reached out to the sides of the light's edge, pulling in a steady stream of shadowy black masses, forming a large cube of illusionary shadow, a privacy barrier against the sight of onlookers, encasing himself, his daemon, maxwell and Tao. The illusionist runecrafter began his work in secrecy.
  2.
  3. Within the cube there was darkness, as far as the eye could see, and then there were three. Shafts of light eminated from the three present within the illusion. Maxwell floating in a cloud of thin grey gas that seemed to cling to his very form, Tao upon a chair covered in boar hide facing the Ookami, and Rai, unscathed without a cast slowly walking towards maxwell from the distance, mythril appendage across his hands.
  4.
  5. The man's mouth moved, but no words came forth from his lips. In the place of words, were symbols crafted of light slipping past his tongue into the air as he approached maxwell. The grey mist about him would feel as though it were growing heavier, pulling him down towards the ground below, or perhaps the world was rising to meet him like an old friend.
  6.
  7. As Rai came closer and became more clear to Maxwell and Tao's vision, a dozen black appendages came into the light, black arms and hands without joints each reaching outwards and extending towards maxwell. The man would feel the same paralyzing as Rai's handshake from before, though not as severe, as though to stiffen his body as the runic letters that had been poured like water from Rai's mouth began to move from where they were 'spoken', each of them flying towards maxwell's chest, slamming against his body like bolts of light.
  8.
  9. Each bolt of light that struck maxwell seemed to disintigrate part of the prothetic in his hand, and in it's exchange, an equivalent extention of what seemed to be his own flesh extending down his body, runic lines upon the flesh matching each rune that which struck his body.
  10.
  11. Rai seemed to floatup towards maxwell, holding now only the foot of the prosthetic, staring the man in the eyes with a gaze that seemed like a father, proud of a son, a smile on his face before one final rune came out from his mouth, directly into the man's face in a blinding flash.
  12.
  13. Suddenly maxwell would feel a numb sensation where once there was only phantom pain, the feeling getting stronger as the blinding flash faded from his vision, the final rune in place set to his mind, connecting the magics to the prosthetic in full.
  14.
  15. The shell of the prosthetic was in itself, enchanted with illusionary prowess, that of one who had mastered the art of deception and dramatic flair. It looked, at first glance, to be perfectly normal, flesh and all as though you could touch it and feel it's warmpth. However this was not within the abilities of Mythril, a fauximily of the power of Arcanium.
  16.
  17. The 'flesh', if touched, would be revealed to be an illusion, luke warm and hard. If exposed to the bright light of a star or a cosmic mage, the illusion would vanish from sight, leaving the clockwork appendage in full view. Though the man could not manipulate sound and the ticking would remain everpresent in his movements, though the craftsmanship would bring it to be only truly notable in full speeds.
  18.
  19. A pair of whispered words passed between the ears of Maxwell and Tao.
  20.
  21. "Embrace it."
  22.
  23. Slowly the world would fade to black as they would feel themselves back the way the once were upon and above the ground, the shadowy mass dissipating, the illusion dispersed, the show was over.
