Plot:
the evil demoness Caligula has merged all the dimensions/universes of the multiverse into one single universe. Michael and Penelope, otherwise known as the superheroes Dragonian and CyberGirl, set out to defeat Caligula and undo the merger. along the way, they team up with various heroes displaced from their own universes and battle displaced villains who are working for Caligula.

Unlocking characters without passwords:

Not every character has a password to unlock them. during gameplay, heroic characters are unlocked the first time you speak to them. at the start, Michael and Penelope are your only playable characters. When you beat the game, every villain you defeated (some villains are skippable) will be unlocked. Some characters are hidden throughout the game and may not be encountered without straying from the main quest path and/or partaking in sidequests.

Character Teams:

At the start, you will choose to play as either Michael or Penelope, and the one you don't pick becomes your partner. You can switch between them later on. once you start unlocking characters, you can add up to 8 more characters to your "character team". the max number of characters that can be on your team at once is 10. Each character can have their own dueling deck and team of Pokemon or you can assign the same 6-mon team and/or the same deck to all 10 characters. For battles/fights outside of Yu-Gi-Oh duels and Pokemon battles, each character has their own attacks and special attacks.

Brawl Mode:

this mode becomes available when you have at least 4 playable characters unlocked (counting the two protags). In Brawl Mode, you can pit up to 4 unlocked characters against each other in free-for-all or tag team fights.

Thor's hammer Mjollnir and the Worthiness Meter:

Thor is found in NYC with the rest of the Avengers. When you first talk to him, he challenges you to try and lift his hammer. It doesn't budge. at this point, you unlock the "worthiness meter". this will fill up as you defeat villains. come back to Thor when the meter is full and you will be able to lift the hammer. Thor will be unlocked and every character on your team will be able to wield Mjollnir from now on. Talking to Yugi Moto after maxing out your Worthiness Meter will get you the Millennium Puzzle, and Ash will give you a Master Ball.

Kokone and Princess Ancien:

these two characters are actually the same person. after you talk to Kokone, she will fall asleep. a portal will open up. walk into it to enter the Heartland Kingdom and meet Kokone's alter ego Princess Ancien. Help Ancien defeat the person trying to take control of the kingdom and she will give you a Pokemon called Magearna, which is in a special kind of Poke Ball called a Dream Ball. Walk back through the portal and Kokone will wake up. At this point, the portal closes and both Kokone and Ancien are unlocked.

Pokemon Mode:
this mode can be activated while you are in Japan, NYC, france/Paris, or Hawaii. it transforms these places into the different pokemon regions. Japan becomes Kanto/Johto, Hoenn, or Sinnoh depending on where in Japan you activated Pokemon Mode. NYC becomes Unova. France/Paris becomes Kalos/LUmiose. Hawaii becomes Alola. This enables you to battle gym leaders/trials (beating at least 8 gyms/trials unlocks the Pokemon Leagues), and encounter/unlock Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, Lillie, etc

Battling Villains:

when you face a villain you have the option of "Pokemon Battle", "Yu-Gi-OH Duel", and "fisticuffs" to face a villain in. fisticuffs (straight-up fighting them) is generally the hardest method of battle out of the three.

Face Thanos before finding the Infinity Stones:

Normally, you'd have to find all 6 Infinity stones to gain access to where you battle Thanos (Thanos already has the Infinity Gauntlet, which Caligula gave him). however, you can reach there without finding them by traveling through Unova. in NYC, the Avengers tell you about the Infinity Stones. after you find all 6, a part of NYC (which was blocked off) implodes and you find Thanos waiting. If you activate Pokemon Mode, turning NYC into Unova, then warp to entralink and enter Entree Forest, you can deactivate Pokemon Mode and end up in the part of NYC where Thanos is. Without the Stones, he's significantly easier to beat. You can still find the Stones after you beat him.
