  1. Arc name: Reign of Red
  2. Op name: Operation Blue Night
  3. Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z-GDf3jA0kg8.k3OEFq62tHEI
  4. Run title: Insertion
  5.
  6. The character is brought into the briefing room, where several armed personnel await. A thorough briefing is given, providing the following information:
  7.
  8. Foundation has recently gotten word of a previously Soviet-Funded anomaly containment and research group known as the 'Red Fox Squadron' (Эскадрон лисицы), founded some time during the war. Though still heavily associated with the Union, it has since become a relatively independent organization, with the obvious intention of weaponizing anomalies, and doing so rather aggressively. Due to the organization operating from behind the iron curtain, it had remained hidden from the Foundation for a long time, only discovered a couple of months ago.
  9.
  10. A Foundation informant has managed to infiltrate the Squadron and find out the locations and certain security details to a set of compounds by the Baikal lake. Though not receiving financial support from the Union anymore, the organization still remains under its wing to an extent, the area around the compounds fenced off, warning signs posted all around warning any civilians that somehow would manage to wander around the area that they should /not/ be there. From what the informant has heard, a certain top-secret weapon is being developed in one of the compounds. If rumors among the troops are true, it could prove more powerful than the nuclear bomb.
  11.
  12. The Foundation has obvious difficulties bringing men and equipment into the Union, but has managed to bring in a chopper and enough equipment for the operation into the area without getting found out. An unknown Foundation well-wisher who has previously sent large sums of money to the organization has offered his services in bringing an operative in, but he can not promise the safety of an entire team.
  13.
  14. As such, a single agent will be brought into the country, to a Home Base ~20 km away from the compounds. There they will be outfitted with the best gear the Foundation can provide, after which they shall be brought to the drop point.
  15.
  16. Their mission is to enter Alpha Compound through what means they see fit (Recommendations from the informant further below), make their way into the building located at the center of the compound, meet up with the informant and pick up a set of files from him. Said files are crucial to finding out where the weapon is being developed. The informant has found it increasingly more difficult to contact the Foundation, and they're better off handing the files off in person.
  17.
  18. Once the mission is complete, the operative must make their way to one of the extraction zones to be brought back to base. If they had alerted the soldiers in the compound, they must first get them off their tail.
  19.
  20. Equipment: The agent is provided with equipment boosting two skills of their choice by two points, and four by one point. The equipment ranges from various weapons and armors, to tools such as flares, tracking kits, binoculars and Foundation-designed sneak suits. They will also be allowed to bring along gear not related to stat boosts, such as the aforementioned flares and binoculars, weapons and silencers, etc. (They may even request non-lethal weapons, such as tranq guns)
  21. Informant Recommendations: *Those watch towers might prove troublesome. Consider taking one of the guards in those towers out from a distance, then sneaking in through the area near the empty tower.
  22. *Try not to alert the guards and take the stealth route. There are a lot of guards here, and you just might compromise /my/ situation.
  23. *Silencers don't last forever, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't use them.
  24. *Try not to kill too many people, okay? That'll only make them tighten up on security.
  25. *Don't lead the guards to the extraction zones. Seriously. Just don't.
