[21:37] Yu approaches Kabu, casting a fist upon his chest. "Chieftain Kabu. It's good to see. I've come from Huangzhou on the behest of the Shogun."

[21:39] Nyx says, "Fallen, by our celestial might."
[21:39] Kabu says, "That's...interesting, but. Yes, one moment, Yu."
[21:39] Yu Heifang says, "Of course, Chieftain."
[21:40] Caira's blade was drenched in blood, and her body was in tatters. She turns to stare at Nyx for a time, managing a smile though it's somewhat overshadowed by how gloomy she looks.

"... Our collective might, is more like it..." She drops her mythril sword to the ground in a clatter - and starts to breathe heavily. That battle was heart-racing.

[21:48] A stern nod is given to Nyx as his conglomerate of rat flesh gestates and re-envelopes itself but, the Chieftain felt that today there was something to be seen, not only for the wiles of their spirits, but in fact for Agartha as a whole.

Careful eyes watched each and every single one of those present as he took in a deep breath, one of relief, one of change.

Gehenna had proved themselves, they showed they weren't weak, or getting soft as the world at large had assumed. No, they were standing tall, and proud.

"Today, we faced not foreign to our ilk. Some more insurmountable in the past, but altogether rousing to the tribes of Cruxati. They dealt us heavy blows, here and there...

We've lost some good and devout warriors, to the darkness that seeps from every step these Briars take. But more than that?

Gehenna prevailed. We showed them our might, our faith, and our courage, and not only defended our towers, but also took from this world a great disservice. The Scarletbringer was exposed in the light, and he faded from view.

Levengard cannot say, we are not able, Dawn cannot say we are feeble.

We are the tribes, and the spirits wash over us this, day, and many more days to come.

As the nagual spoke, he'd take his staff and tap it into the ground twice as sparks danced along the cobblestone, his scrapes, and cuts would disappear before he finally set his golden hues back upon Yu awaiting his business.

[21:56] The magi lifted his chin higher, crossing both arms as Kabu hailed his cry for Gehenna. A show of respect to the Chieftain, and to the Gehennans. He remained silent as they cheered their well deserved victory, only speaking after it barely subsided.

Though, the cheers were still loud, he nodded his head as the Chieftain looked at him.

"I came in the light of cooperation, and the Shogun is planning to send squadrons to bolster your forces against Briar," said Yu, before glancing to Caira. She was there when Isaac gave his order, for the greater good, and to push Briar away.

"At the same time, I came myself in order to aid your cause, both at the Shogun's command, and for my dear friend; Elyon," said Yu, stating his business.

"So, if it wouldn't be too much to ask. It would be appreciated to know the results of Briar's raid, and the casualties. And more importantly, of Elyon. Has he already returned?"

[22:03] A careful glance is taken, to Yu as he lets out another sigh, he was thankful that the Shogun would be sending some forces to aid Gehenna, giving the young man a pat on the shoulder. He had bad news about Elyon, but.... he needed to let him know, in perhaps private.

Howver, his fatigue right now, made him very much want to settle things, and perhaps rest, his body being taxed, and exhausting his enthusiasm had finally taken it's toll on the Chieftain.

"Our tower still stands, we were victorious...but, Elyon has been captured, by the Briar.

I think he went off to face one off them, right before the raid began."

[22:11] "Captured?" he asked, his eyes widening. Despite the usual cold eyes of a murderer, and the stoic façade, he couldn't help but be surprised by the news.

But, how?

And so, he remembered the Shogun's words.

'Ashalle and Ahmir are monsters. And I say that as a compliment.'

'I hope Elyon do not underestimate them,' Yu responded to him.

"I see," he said and closed his eyes, heaving a deep sigh as the Chieftain pat him on the shoulder.

"In behalf of Huangzhou, I congratulate you on Gehenna's victory, Chieftain Kabu. Elyon told me that Levengard believes you are weak, and Huangzhou does not respect you. But, I, and even the Shogun disagree.

You are a proud people of warriors, and today's victory proved everyone wrong. You are a people not to be trifled with. Dusk and Briar would be fools not to fear your might,"said as he flashed his eyes open.

Despite the evident brief spike of terribly corrupt mana about him, of learning Elyon's capture, he remained diplomatic and true. For the Gehennans deserve it.

In times of war, there is victory. But that victory comes for a price; sorrow.

"I shall head back to Huangzhou and make my report. May the spirits protect you."

[22:13] Somewhere amidst her yucking and cutting up, Ardith stops and looks back to the exchange in the middle of the square. And in that exchange something catches her eye.

With a slow smile she regards the evident Huangzhou diplomat.

[22:13] Tahldrig says, "Eshmun is there too more than likely Kabu."
[22:13] Tahldrig says, "He had twenty four hours to go there."
[22:19] A mutual understanding and reassurance is paid to Yu as he details Gehenna's retribution, and he'd give the man a tired smile before patting his chest twice at his words.

A shining pride in his people, his spirits, and in those they'd lost was radiating and coalescing with the moon's shine onto the square here as he stood before he grouping here.

"The Shogun's aid would be much more than appreciated...but for now? The storm has passed us...I think it's time for a festival once these wars are cleared.

Spirits protect Yu...I think I need a drink."

[22:22] Ardith asks, "It really gotta be a question?"
[22:23] Yu Heifang says, "And who sent that letter you spoke of? Eshmun and Elyon are highly capable magis, capable of besting even the famed magis of Levengard."
[22:23] Tahldrig says, "I figured that would be the case."
[22:23] Yu Heifang says, "I don't think they'd so be easily defeated."
[22:23] Kabu whispers: Eshrum was sent a letter. He was accosted into the Briar, or they'd kill his brother.

[22:24] Kabu whispers: He's no doubt working to either free him, or being consigned, until they no longer wish to have his brother alive.

[22:27] The magi nodded to Tahldrig, then to Ardith before walking for the east.

Though his features stated he was calm and composed, he still walked.

Until he was no longer there.

Far away from Gehenna and to the forest.

"Ashalle…" he muttered under his breath as he halted, gritting his teeth.

"You and your people will burn. And the voices of your people as they get massacred will echo for millennia!"
