- Description: Sheri was last seen waiting for a bus in Flint,MI on November 16,1983. Her partially clothed body was found 4 days later on a rural road in Blumfield Township,MI. She had been sexually assaulted, then shot multiple times. Collins was connected to the crime 43 years later by genome sequencing. Collins committed suicide before police could obtain a DNA sample. DNA collected from Collins’ autopsy matched the suspect profile.
