    To the "government" of Detroit:
         We are Anonsec, you are guilty of inhumane governing. You are shutting off water to 40% of the city, just because they are too poor to afford it. If someone is hungry, do you just sit back and watch them die? This is the same principal. You are essentially killing 150,000 people. Your actions has caused our movement: #OpDetroit. We recently obtained access to interesting information on your servers. We plan on exposing this information if you do not yield, and return water to the people. Since I was raised in the US, I know politics can be difficult, you have until: 24.08.2014 (August 24th, 2014) to publicize your decision, if a decision is not made, we will release the information. However, if you do make the correct choice, we will only release the data if your mistake is repeated. Choose wisely, we are watching.

    p.s. Any police intervention will result in immediate release of information, before, during, and after the deadline.

Make a decision, or there will be severe repercussions. We fear not the threat of arrest, all we fear is the inability to release your data. I have uploaded the stolen information onto the cloud, and it has been encrypted. Since your inability to arrest us, we have no reason to fear you or your idle threats. Next time, don't fuck with the 99%, or the 99% will fuck with you.
