BTP Mondaays!

Covet: "Sorry man," He said with a sigh, "I'm kind of all over the place today." Stopping, Eli leaned against the counter and put his head in his hands. "And all I'm doing is giving myself a headache."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam frowned as he watched him, tilting his head to the side. "I understand. But at least Tae is in a safe place. And I'm trying my best to watch over her at the house, for you. I know it's not a very good situation right now..."-
Covet: "Thanks Adam. I really appreciate that. It's more guilt than worry, I think, at this point." He told him holding his head in his hands, tilting his face up. "But... sadly I think it would have gone the same way, even if I wasn't the one who outed her."
Alexithymiaa: "Why would you feel guilty?" He asked through furrowed brows. "You're looking out for your sister. I don't see anything wrong with that and there's nothing for you to feel guilty over."-
Tsaaq: Bliss exited the bathroom and went over to the counter in a very dour brood. "Anything you need me to do specifically Eli?" She inquired with a small sigh, leaning her elbows on the surface of the counter.
Covet: "I know, but I wish it would have gone any other way than this. My mom's been crying up a storm to me, and I can't really do or say much to console her, because I don't have the answers to the questions she keeps asking." He looked at Bliss and put an arm around her, "No, everything's okay, My Love. How are you holding up?"
Alexithymiaa: "Would she feel better to know that she's staying with us and she's safe?" He asked with a bit of a wince, twisting to look at Bliss when she came from the bathroom. "You both look so depressed."-
Tsaaq: She inhaled deeply, a frown still on her lips. "I don't know. I feel so helpless, and just useless all at the same time. Everything feels like there's nothing I can do to make us a family again." Bliss told him. "Well, we are going through a very tremulous time." She said to Adam.
Covet: "It will eventually come together. It's just going to take a lot longer than I think any of us have patience for." He said to Bliss rubbing her arm, then looked at Adam, "I have told her, and she's under the impression that she's lost Tae for forever."
Alexithymiaa: "I'm sorry that this is such a difficult time for you." He said with a frown, moving his hand to brush his hair back. "Is there anything else i can do to help?"-
Tsaaq: She shook her head. "So sad." She murmured at the explanation. "I suppose this is just something we have to just suffer through... Since we can't do anything about it."
Covet: "I'd eventually like to appologize to her, but I know there's no way she wants to do that right now." Eli said then pulled out his phone looking at the messages and responding, then groaned. "I really don't want to have to pile on another fundraiser. We have ten days before the formal. And there's a lot more going on this time of year for people." He put his phone down and rubbed his temples.
Alexithymiaa: "I know..." Adam said with a bit of a grumble, not wanting to gang up on Dori, but she's fucking up. "I just don't really know how to pull off a second fundraiser this month in the time we're given. The formal is our biggest event of the year and I personally feel all of our efforts should go into making it the best it can be."-
Tsaaq: Bliss looked down at her phone, not yet replying because she wanted to see what her president and vp had to say about it. "I'll say it then." She offered as she brought up her keyboard and waited for the ok to go savage on this broad.
Covet: "I have to agree there." Eli said to Adam, then glanced at Bliss. "Sure, I don't have the energy to put into giving her a response. If she would have brought this up at the beginning of the month we could have planned for it, but this late? It's just not feasable."
Alexithymiaa: "I think we're all in agreement then. When we were discussing a fundraiser to do, that would have been the time for these suggestions. Not halfway through the month like this." He said with a sigh, leaning heavily on the counter.-
Tsaaq: "All systems are go Captain." Bliss said as her eyes focused on her screen preparing her response, typing wildly at light speed probs.
Covet: Eli felt his phone go off and looked down at it, then quickly gave his response, before he pushed back and laid his head down on the counter. "I get that she's trying to participate and be a part of the group, but sometimes, I just don't get where her head is."
Alexithymiaa: -Adam dropped his eyes to his phone to read the exchange going back and forth, nodding. "Well said, both of you. At this point... we just can't. We can only spread ourselves so thin and our first event did fairly well. We're not in dire need of a second fundraiser."-
Tsaaq: Bliss shrugged her shoulders. "Perhaps she doesn't know a lot about SGA, should I give her a binder?" She asked.
Covet: "It couldn't hurt. Maybe then she'd at least have a better idea of what we're here to do for the school." Eli said with a sigh.
Alexithymiaa: "I think it would be good research material for her in the future anyway." He said with a nod, pushing his phone back into his pocket and stepping around the counter to give Eli a pat on the back. "Well... one issue down?"-
Tsaaq: "It'll give me something to do." She sighed. "Well you and Hayley keep us as updated as you can. And don't just allow her to run a muck either. You need to guide her and perhaps in her growth she'll gain maturity and we can all reconcile."
Covet: "I know it's kind of a lot to ask you guys, but she needs something positive in her life." Eli said . "With good people around her, she should be able to get things figured out. We should probably get closed up for the night. I didn't realize how late it was." He said looking at the time. "If you want to head out Adam, I'll worry about everything. It will give me something to do."
Alexithymiaa: "Of course we will. I'll look after her as though she were my own sister." He sent them both a reassuring smile before stepping over to the computer to clock himself out. "Y'all have a good night." With a wave, he turned and made his way through the shop, heading out to his truck.-
Tsaaq: ((You have no sisters!))
Tsaaq: She noddd and waved at him. "Thank you Adam, get home safely." She sighed and went to finish up closing things up. "I hope things work out. Oh how I hope they do." She sighed. "At least our friends will treat her kindly."
Covet: "Thanks Adam. I appreciate it." Eli said with a sincere smile back, then looked at Bliss. "I'm more hopeful than not. Having Adam and Hayley looking out for her, it makes me feel a little better. Until then Just going to give her some time and space."  Eli said as he too went about doing the closing things. "I'm just emotionally drained, and ready to curl up next to you and sleep this headache off."
