  1. It was when I was around 11 I first recognised my passion for computing. I was sat downstairs in the living room, watching television with my parents. I asked "How does it work?", to which I got the response "Dunno.". I realised that I wanted to learn how technology works, and I wanted to learn how to program. Finally, my family bought a new television, I asked if I could open it up and see the insides. Aware of the risks, I opened it up with the aid of my dad. Inside I was overwhelmed with all the parts. I was amazed.

  3. I find it astounding how the use of Computer Science has transformed our society so swiftly in the last several decades. We have made an extensive jump from phones with antennas to phones within our watches. We are at a stage in our lives where absolutely anything is possible - our imagination is the boundary. I want to study Computer Science so that I can make a difference, I want to acquire the skills to solve predicaments. I want to make a difference and with Computer Science that is achievable. With the skills and knowledge, I will obtain from studying Computer Science the possibilities for my creations are immeasurable. I want to be able to make a difference, in places where a difference is needed. Recently I have been creating a maths game to help younger learners with their mathematical abilities. I have also created a **"idk what u call it"**, where I have designed a login and sign up system connected to a Microsoft Access database where user's information is stored. This has assisted me in developing my skills and give me a further understanding of using database systems.

  5. I am always looking to develop myself as a person and learn new skills, recently I have volunteered my time at a not-for-profit called CleanIt UK. I have worked alongside the other staff members to solve problems that we may face. I have met new people and strengthened my confidence, I have also helped to manage the organisation's website and have assisted in creating an online hub with a CMS. I have also been a Young Volunteer, this has helped me to develop as a character and discover how to communicate with people from all walks of life and background. My time volunteering has helped me learn several skills including leadership, time management, discipline and determination.
